    Drinks menu - SO FUN!
    Cristin G.

Had a celebration dinner there yesterday evening. The romaine salad was fantastic! Steak was excellent I had a filet and he had a chateaubriand, both really tasty. Nice pepper seasoning and seared perfectly. Had three sides for two people and after a big day hiking, finished them all. Super fun cocktail menu made me try one, which is not my usual thing. Service was thoughtful and gave great suggestions. The location is a bit of a hole in the wall. I know it's going for a speakeasy vibe, but it came across a bit under-finished. All in all a good experience and the food and drinks were what made it for me.

The ambiance here is cozy and intimate in a dimly lit room. It was an amazing reprieve from the cold outside. Staff was friendly although there was a blonde girl that was set on clearing out our plates really soon, before we were even done, which is the reason for 4 stars and not 5. I ordered beef stew which was great , my daughter ordered shrimp linguine, which was also delicious but does include capers ( which isn't listed in the menu description). To start, we ordered the sourdough with herb butter which was also very good. Overall, this is a great spot with vibes and good food. I didn't have a cocktail here so I can't touch on that.

The ambience is cozy, intimate, and warm! Great spot for steak lovers, all their steak is prime, ordered locally, and cut in house. My fiancé ordered the rib eye and I ordered the braised beef served over yummy whipped potatoes. We also ordered the cavier and roasted rainbow carrots. For my mezcal lovers, highly recommend their kardarde cocktail. Overall, great food quality and cozy spot for a nice dinner experience while visiting Leavenworth.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant our last evening in Leavenworth. The restaurant has a very dark, cozy, romantic vibe that was perfect for a date night. We ordered drinks and they were phenomenal. My boyfriend ordered the sourdough bread appetizer and it was to die for. We decided for entrees we'd each get a filet and share the shrimp scampi. I wish I had gotten the shrimp scampi for myself... it was INCREDIBLE. The flavors of the filets were good, however, they came out cold. When we asked for them to be reheated, they came back out the same temperature. This is why 4/5 stars. The flavor is there, just I can't bring myself to give this place a perfect 5.

Honestly, the mash potatoes were the best of this place because rest was just too plain.

We finally understood why nobody would posts recent reviews for this place. The whole experience is screaming CHEAP.. except the bill. 500$. The party of 3 and a child. We were suggested family style " experience" by the waiter Emma, That means: no one can order their own plate (unless they want to pay $119+ for individual steak) The whole table needs to agree on everything. The food is very plain....they give you flavored butter for exactly pieces of the bread by the guest. 4 people 4 pieces of bread., No plain butter, just flavored with sauce.... no exceptions no excuses like a detention center. The steak was ok .....not seasoned well but put on the grill. Our overall experience is I cook better grill and more gracious experience than Old World Chop!!! Don't waste your money there!

We had dinner here while on our annual Christmas trip to Leavenworth and overall thought it was pretty good. It's located on the main street in downtown right across from the park with all the lights. We made reservations and got seated right away when we arrived. It's a pretty small place with some bar seating and booths tucked in here and there. The rustic wood and low lighting give it a great ambiance. Our server was nice and helpful and everything gluten free was labeled on the menu making selections easy. We decided to start with the side of pork belly which did not disappoint. It was delicious. We'd been snacking all day so we shared a filet and potatoes. The temp was spot on for the steak and the potatoes were nicely seasoned. The only thing we didn't like were our drinks. They only have a couple choices of wine by the glass and it only has the type, not the name or brand of the vineyard so you aren't sure what you're getting. The cab was not very good and my husband had a cranberry fizz cocktail he didn't like. They have lots of by the bottle choices if you want to go that route tho. Overall food and service were both solid and I could see us returning during next year's trip.

The ambiance is romantic and dark. The food was so good!! Only downside is we went in wanting the pork chop and it wasn't available. My husband and I both got the ribeye! Both were cooked perfectly!! The mushroom side was good. The stew and mash potato's are amazing!! Our server Sage was kind and helpful!

Everything we had was delish! They have a great selection of different cut. We had 7oz crown and it was the best I ever had! Literally melts in your mouth. Salad is very refreshing and Brussels sprouts stole the day with tangy kimchi sauce and crispy thick pork belly! Service was very warming and very intimate inside.

There is no exaggeration in what I'm about to post--this was the best meal I've had in years (yes--plural). My husband had the filet--so soft. I had the pork chop farmhouse style--chef's kiss (literally). The crust was incredible. We shared the potatoes and carrots which were also delicious. The service was top notch too. We felt really welcome and our server took the time to explain different options for us. I will be back my next Leavenworth trip.

All around great meal. The scallops were so tasty we ordered a second round. Best old fashioned I've had in years.

Since we had to make the almost 6 hour trek home the next day, we went for an early dinner and were the first party in. Service was kind and quick! Everyone was super friendly. Only thing is with it being just freshly opened for the day, it felt a bit like we were intruding on the staffs prep time - no one made us feel that way there was just a lot of work and chatter going on. I assume with the name Mozart usually there's some form of music (I would assume classical) that maybe just hadn't been turned on yet. But no bother. Food was fantastic. The fondue is not to be missed - the sausage and broccolini were clear standouts with this dish. I got the hunters schnitzel which was great but my husband got the Käsespätzle which is one of the absolute best things I have eaten out in a really long time. Like an oniony cheesy spatzle Mac and cheese. YUM. Should we be back in the area, we would go back again for sure!

Unfortunately, the restaurant was already running about 45 minutes behind and no one communicated this to the long line of guests standing on a steep staircase waiting to be seated. Given that the evening was reservation-only, it was surprising how unprepared they seemed for the exact number of people they knew were coming. The space itself is quaint and charming, and the food was reasonably tasty once it arrived. But the service left a lot to be desired. The hostess was uncommunicative and initially tried to seat us at a shared table in the middle of heavy foot traffic. When we asked about an empty private table that had been sitting open the entire time we were waiting, we were told it was for "VIP" guests. Our server seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive. She had to ask for and repeat our orders multiple times, still brought the wrong dish to one person, and served three meals while the fourth person in our party waited another 10-15 minutes for theirs. When we asked about the delay, it felt like we were inconveniencing them. Overall, it was disappointing. The restaurant has a lot of charm and potential, but the lack of communication, organization, and basic hospitality made for a frustrating experience--especially on a night that was clearly planned around reservations.

We were here on an off season time so I would highly recommend reservations. The menu is small which I love because I don't have to many items competing with each other to order. I decided to order a board as an appetizer with 2 meats, 2 cheeses, and a side. Huge happy dance with this one, the honey ricotta was amazing, deviled eggs huge smiles, burrata was perfect, salami and prosciutto beautiful. On this day they had two specials butternut squash ravioli and a sea bass. We chose the ravioli with added chicken, it had a good taste however did not compete with the other dishes (still did a happy dance with each bite). There is a kids menu, we had the fettuccine with chicken, good side for kids. They also have shrimp or just cheese fettuccine, pizza, and lasagna. Our main courses we had the eggplant parm, perfectly cooked with a side caprese salad. Mushroom and chicken fettuccine amazing flavors and a good portion. For desert we had the apple bread pudding, to die for, a cookie pie and chocolate mouse type dessert (I forgot their names), all very good. Highly recommend this place and as a family was listed #1 out of 5 places eaten here in Leavenworth.

We got seated at a table near the window, so we were able to get a good view of the lights outside. Our waitress was very nice and gave us the run down on the specials. We wish the bread and olive oil was complementary, but thats okay. We got a ceaser salad to share and then my husband got the rabbit ragu and I got the Bolognese con tagliatelle because I was sharing it with my daughter. Our waitress asked if we wanted pepper on our salad and we said yes, but she never came with it. We did get it on our pasta though! My dish was good, but wished I would have gotten my original dish I wanted, however waitress said it might have been too spicy for my kid. One funny thing that happened was another waiter accidentally brought another tables food to our table. He put a spaghetti in front of my daughter and when we said it was the wrong table, our daughter was so mad. To make up for it, the waiter had sent over some gelato for her! I thought that was a sweet gesture. Great italian food and lots of good drink options. We would definitely eat here again.
