Sporty's has reopened, after an extensive plumbing issue closed them down earlier this year. They may be under new management, but I didn't ask. As our previous visit a few years ago, the food is still excellent. Very hearty options, and the Happy Hour apps I ordered for my main meal were quite generous. Wifey wanted her Prime Rib, and scored the end piece, which is always slightly more done than the pink middle cuts. Being a Friday evening, we had to get their Clam Chowder of course, and it was creamy goodness with plenty of clammage. This is our kind of place. A sports bar, but more of a restaurant really. We have been seeking out places that do prime rib on the weekends, and for here it is a Saturday night special. They do a great job! I got the smallest cut, but there was nothing small about it. And while I do like a bit of fat on my plate, mine was a real lean cut. My Hubby wasn't feeling like a special order, but greatly enjoyed the burger he had. It had some sort of name that escapes me, but he had several bites of my steak because I waved the fork in his face. I needed the help, and we both had leftovers. Enjoyed lunch here once before, so decided to try it again. Very glad I did! Tacos were on special. I had 1 fish and 1 beef, served with a generous portion of rice and beans. One of the best breakfast in a long time. This sports bar establishment was the only breakfast restaurants open on a Monday morning at 7:00 AM that wasn't a franchise. The service was perfect with a smile. I am traveling from Spokane back home to Redmond. This was a very well worth spot. read more

Guys, I know you have top spot of Moses Lake but even being a regular, don't slack on customer service (and eye rolls should not come with asking for a larger glass). Sometimes it's hot- don't sit by the front door on hot days. And sometimes you have to grab anyone you can for service. Tips are shared from what the rumor is so I try to tip fair. Unfortunately, this morning the stench of sewage was so overwhelming we had to leave. We couldn't believe that they were trying to operate under those conditions. I would say the service is spotty no matter which day/time you choose. They offer good service to people they know and regulars but, for anyone else, it can be subpar. It takes a long time to get your check and there are often times they will switch servers and forget to check you out entirely. You have to go and wait at the bar for long periods. Additionally, there have been times that the check items have been wrong/over charged. So, check your checks and just know that they have some issues there. The women's bathroom smells abysmal. I want SO badly to be positive. It's a dive bar at the end of the day. Small town, decent "from frozen" appetizers. You know the place. The people. They've put in few updates through the years, have struggled to adapt, seem to have succeeded. The problem: I was mis-charged. Large table. Coworkers. Mixed tabs, mixed drinks, mixed... reciept. I get it, but no. Not happening. The first time I paid, THEN made it a point to their morning crew that it's not the cost, it's not the money, it's not the service, BUT it had better never happen again. They apologized, agreed, understood, and make it a point to double check. With. Everyone. Before orders are made and entered. No problems when I'm working nights, coming in at the morning hours. Fantastic service even when it's busy. I'm currently working DAYS. I came in on their evening hours. A few coworkers. Same situation. Server handled my bill and table like it didn't matter. Night manager wouldn't hear my complaint, or issue with the tab. Treated me like a child despite the FACT they were grifting me and my coworkers. Absolutely horrid experience. Then, they gave up. Gave me what they thought was my bill, and it was STILL wrong, in MY FAVOR, and I tried to correct them. They were now under charging me, the bill was STILL incorrect and I wanted it fixed. They wouldn't hear it. Absurd. They're shorting their place of business (doubly so at the end of this sentence) and themselves because I left a 2 cent tip, and will be disputing the charge as it was not the service or order I agreed to. Absolutely. Absurd. Childish behavior from their server, manager, and whom I believe to be their more experienced bartender (who at least tried to level with me on the issue). One star. No stars if i could. I will not be spending money at this location any more. I will show up with my coworkers, and spend nothing. I will not be tipping. I will not spend money on their pool or games. I will go out of my way to inconvenience them mildly if I see these grifters in public. ..fool me twice. Shameful of you. Thank you Cheryl (spelling). You are a wonderful person and/or employee. Food is generally very good! Salads, sandwiches and breakfast are very goods. Stay away from the shrimp Entree it comes out soupy and they don't cook off the cooking wine. Karaoke is okay there. Other nights are okay but no entertainment. Staff is usually pretty good unless they are busy then it's hit and miss! read more

Sportys is not a place I would ever recommend. Their service is less than mediocre, and not friendly. The food is greasy and not worth the price. The bathroom smells like rotten sewage! So bad it makes people want to vomit! The owner is a horrible person and it shows in her employees. I will never go back to this establishment. Went in with my daughter for a quick drink. Ordered a "Scooby Snack", which is some form of coconut/pineapple bliss in a glass. It was tasty and potent. We happened to be there for Happy Hour!!! Played a little number game, won a bit, it was fun. read more

Just went to Sporty's for a beer and burger and to catch the Apple Cup. Place is laid out well and pretty ok. Service pretty great. No assigned tables per server. Seemingly everyone waited on us consistently, very attentive and friendly. Typical menu choices for easily staying out of shape or getting out of shape quick, keeping the I eat a lot of bar food and don't care shape or I've given up and will eat these deep fried meat balls after picking them up with cocktail sticks and dipping them in mayo-based sauces. Food came out fast. Pretty so-so. Here it is: Stinky's Steakhouse. Had to leave even before half time as soon as we were finished with the baskets of big-butt-&-gut nourishments, the restroom fans must have been re-routed to exit right over the dining area. The place had the ambient odor of: top-notes airplane farts and dirty cracks, middle-notes of outdoor-amphitheater honey-buckets mixed with week-old mop bucket water and strong bottom-notes of urinal cakes combined with dollar-store air-wicks. Service great, atmosphere pretty good, food so so and the ambient fragrance; as I am writing this, I can smell it on my cloths, know it's in my hair and pretty sure taste it on the roof of my mouth. read more

Fun place, fantastic food, great portions, parking lot was full showing it was popular, and Sportys did not disappoint. We had Chicken fried steak and fries: it was tender with crispy crust, great flavor. Clam appetizer with lots of garlic broth. Delicious Breakfast! We were passing through early morning and decided to try this spot. Classic breakfast options with bar. Bartender (lady with brown hair, 30s or 40s i would guess) was communicative and accurate. She and the kitchen were also very quick considering they were pretty busy for 7am! 1 / 1 My wife, myself, my son and a friend went to Sportys "Steakhouse" to have dinner last Friday.  We normally eat out every Friday and normally eat at other local restaurants in Moses Lake.  We have been to Sportys a few times in the past, but we don't like going as the noise level is extreme.  We met up there with our friend from work to have dinner as we were getting tired of eating at the same old places and decided to try to tolerate the noise level.   After waiting for a table for 15 minutes, we sat ourselves.  The "server" came up and asked our friend if he wanted to open a tab, he said yes.  He then took his credit card.  I looked at him sort of puzzled as we have never been asked for a Credit Card before ordering.  When she returned to the table, I informed her we were having dinner and not just drinks, so I couldn't understand why she took a credit card.  She said, we have a lot of people that walk out without paying, and after all this is a bar.  I was appalled at such an approach to customers.  We are old and sure the heck aren't going to run out on our ticket.  I informed her that was absurd and that I wouldn't be back, in fact I'm not hungry anymore.  She says, "That fine". But my wife didn't want to go somewhere else and we stayed.  The noise level got even louder as someone thought it was a good idea to play the jukebox.  The noise level went to a F-18 during takeoff.  I could not hear my wife who was sitting right next to me, the only way we found to communicate was to text each other.   I'm thinking to myself, there must be at least 40 tables in here, and this server is telling me they have credit cards from all of them?  What is stopping someone from taking those cards, are they locked up - NOT.  This tells me this type of establishment isn't for me if they require me to give them a credit card before ordering, think I stick to Michaels on the Lake, or Enzos.   So folks, to think you are going to a "Steakhouse", as we were informed it was a "bar".  But if you like not being trusted and the noise level of an F-18 during takeoff, by all means knock yourself out.  The food isn't really that great and the atmosphere sucks.  But there are much better places to eat in town, even the Ripple doesn't ask you for your Credit card before ordering and their name even says "Tavern". read more

Keto options, very good breakfast, fast service, full bar. I Found several items on the breakfast menu that were keto/HFLC, and they were happy to substitute avocado for hashbrowns. Will come back happily. read more
