Clean medical facility. That's pretty much it. Dr's don't reply to you for requested help just review and leave you on read for days. Ended up going to an urgent care for ABX because my DR chose to not answer. Front desk is useless they chose to tell me message in the app (the always broken one none the less) I'm beyond words disappointed and disgusted with the lackluster of care provided by not only this medical center but also by the providers especially to someone who's an employee (different site) that's just beyond words. When I did go in for my routine physical I was told go to another DR for this medication and another for this as I can't prescribe those but once you see them I'll be able to prescribe them. They just seem out for the money and not about patient care whatsoever. read more

Worst experience I have ever experienced. Nurse practitioner Workinger will only refer you to costly specialists for conditions I have already been diagnosed for. Like restless legs and fibromyalgia. She doesn't feel comfortable writing prescriptions lol. She doesn't listen. Only documented a few of my conditions and ignored me on my other ailments. Ignored me in my first visit to refer me to a vein specialist and at my next wellness visit she said she cannot refer me to the vein specialist until I make another appointment lol. I can only speak firsthand to Dr. Mahoney but he really sets the bar high. He's caring, patient, empathetic, and super-knowledgeable. In the appointment, he's very easy to talk to and takes time to answer any/all questions you might have. The MA's and back office staff are generally very good as well. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Mahoney to family, friends, or anyone in need of a top notch GP. read more

We came to Banner Health Center Plus to see a specialist for one of my children. We had started this journey at an urgent care elsewhere. The urget care suggested an orthopedic specialist. When I called Banner to make an appointment, they told me a podiatrists would be more appropriate. My daughter was the only child we saw at each visit to this department. Each time, the nurses and technicians were friendly and attentive. Dr. Richardson was personable. He demonstrated both compation and concern. Care provided felt individualized. I liked that Dr. Richardson spoke to my daughter directly. Sometimes doctors ask the parents the questions and not the children. It felt like he truly listened to what she said, and provided care accordingly. Appointments did not feel rushed. Waiting and examination rooms were clean. Bathrooms on the main floor in the lobby were also clean. We were always greeted and thanked upon arrival and departure by those at the receptionist desk in the main lobby. For holidays, this location has interactive things in the lobby. For Halloween, visitors could vote for best pumpkin. Pumpkins were created by staff. For Thanksgiving, visitors could write what they were thankful for, and add it to a tree. For December, there was a contest to vote for best snowman. Snowmen were also created by staff. My daughter began to look forward to seeing what was going on it the lobby at each visit. The only thing stopping me from giving them a full 5 stars is that all follow-up appointment (appointments were all made in person, by handing the receptionist a paper from the doctor,) were not imputed correctly in the system. We found out on appointment number three that there should be no copay, because the visits were follow ups for continued sprained ankle care. We were being prompted to pay copays that we were not supposed to. The only reason I knew this was because the receptionist at visit number three noticed and explained it to me. If I hadn't been told, and knew what to explain to the receptionists at the rest of her appointments, each time we would have paid more nonrequired copays. The error still kept happening. If receiving continued care for an injury, I recommend asking if the visits are supposed to be covered under the first visit. Ample parking. We visited several times throughout my daughter's recovery. There was never a shortage of parking. read more

Typically I have no issues with this office. But today there was major unprofessionalism displayed by the staff at the front. I had an appointment at 9:15am for a glucose screening for my pregnancy, and when I arrived I was told that the doctor was "still at the hospital and I could either wait it out or reschedule for a later time." They could have called me to inform me of this ahead of time. I drive a decent distance to get to this place and it's really inconvenient to have to drive back and forth. They did not seem apologetic about it, and now I've wasted my time when this could have been avoided had I been given a simple heads up. read more

I had a scheduled appointment with Banner Imaging at the Aspera location for 4:40 pm for an MRI. I arrived at 4:15 pm as requested and was told that they were running 40 minutes behind schedule. From past experience I know that 40 minutes easily turns into 1 hour or longer. It is interesting that Banner can contact me by text to advise me of my appointment, but can't contact me that my scheduled appointment is running late and then request a later check in time or reschedule. In this age of instant information, it does not seem to be too much to ask for them to keep their patients informed...consequently I rescheduled and asked the scheduler if they had been running on time and I arrived 40 minutes late would I have been allowed to keep my appointment..I was told NO. Interesting that Banner can run late but patients are not allowed the same courtesy. read more

My father was seen 7/2 for a pickleball fumble. He saw a PA who said probably pulled muscle. He went to imaging the same day. 2.5 weeks later. Yes, 2.5 weeks still in pain was told 5 fractured ribs!!!!!!!! I've called to complain 3x no one has bothered to call me back! So I'm pissed. You may not care about my dad your patient but I sure do!!!! Do better Banner!! This is a ridiculous turn around for results. The facility is beautiful and brand new. Everything is spacious and clean. Except no one really seems to know what they're doing. There seems to be too many people doing the same thing so every single time I've been there, I have an issue with too many people telling me too many different things so nothings done right. The front desk on floor 2 has people who take their job way to serious and play power trips on patients. They make everything difficult and confusing. I've seen 2 different drs there who were amazing but to get in touch with your dr you have to go through so many different people that it can take days to get in contact with them. The best help you'll find is people in an office far away on their main phone line - they'll get you all the help you can ask for but once it has to do with the staff on site you can forget it. File a complaint to fix things? No one will call you back ‍ read more

Went in and saw Dr Richardson (Podiatrist) yesterday for constant problems with my left foot. The bone cyst has been identified, MRI next week in Casa Grande and then surgery following. Dr Richardson is very professional, super nice guy and takes time to listen to his patients. If your Dr refers you to a podiatrist, I'd strongly urge you to request him. read more

Wow, these people really do not care about you at all. I do not regularly go to the doctor so I made an appointment here as a new patient. I told them it was urgent and for an infection on my leg that is getting worse everyday. My appointment was today at 10 AM. Due to a lot of construction and traffic in Phoenix/Glendale I arrived at 10:05. By the time I located the primary care office, I reached check-in at 10:10 AM. The girl in the front said she needed to talk to the doctor because, "The appointment is at 10". She comes back 5 minutes later telling me that I need to reschedule. I have never been to a doctors office where I did not sit in the lobby for 10+ minutes after my scheduled appointment time waiting on the MD. Are they really trying to tell me that if I arrived at 10 exactly I would not be sitting in the lobby for 10+ minutes? I highly doubt that. Here is Banner Health's Mission Statement: "Making health care easier, so life can be better." Well let me tell you, this experience did not make health care easier, and it negatively affected my well-being as I now still have an infected wound on my leg that I am unable to get care for. If I could give zero stars I would! Dr Ming Le. Horrible experience! Did not give PT my MRI and Xrays. Also, did not fill my most important prescription within a timely mannerly. A week? He gets bonuses based on a patients colonoscopy, mammogram and A1C. Dr Le was mad that my A1C was not where he could receive his bonus and treated me like crap since. I was asked to change Dr's. Dr. Brian Hoang is the best! I've seen Dr. Hoang for vein issues a few times, and each time he is professional, skilled and overall so great. I am extremely happy I transferred my OB care here to Dr Meghan McCleary. She is super personable, listens, and is helping issues I've had within my pregnancy since the start my old OB ignored. Her medical assistant is just as amazing and the front desk staff are incredibly kind, helpful and personable too. I went to see my PCP, Dr. Bryan Mahoney, for my yearly wellness visit in March. My insurance covers the wellness visit 100%. A few weeks later, I received a bill from Banner for an additional office visit because I discussed other issues during our visit. Dr. Mahoney sent in a diagnoses code that wasn't covered under my insurance and according to Dr. Mahoney's office notes, we never discussed during my visit. I have contacted the office multiple times to resolve this issue to no avail. It takes their office managers weeks to return emails and phone calls, if you can get in contact with them at all. I have contacted Banner billing multiple times to explain the situation, to be told I should handle it through the office manager, who I can never get in touch with. I am almost seven months into this issue and was told by Banner billing I would have to pay this bill or be sent to a collection agency. If this is how Banner Health Center Plus and Dr. Mahoney's office handles patient issues, I will seek a NEW PCP to handle my health. read more

I went to Dr. Symons for a referral, 2 actually. His focus was only on 1. The one that was far less urgent. I replied to the survey and Tim White the practice supervisor responded that Dr. Symons did give me the referral. Mr. White didn't read my response. It is still 12 days later the referral I urgently needed that I still cannot get. I have sent my 2nd email to Mr. White and made 3 possibly 4 calls to the Dr at this point. Zero responses. Also, the wait time for the referral I did receive on May 2nd gets me an appointment on August 13th. So the urgency is no one's concern. read more
