Dr Steinhoff is amazing. I saw her as a teenager and into adulthood. Unfortunately, the office staff has always been rude and terrible. They made me cry over insurance issues a few years ago. It was humiliating and they did not have a drop of kindness in their voices. I was still a teenager then. I've moved around and found myself back in the area and tried to schedule an appointment. The front office staff is still as rude as ever so unfortunately nothing has changed since I was younger. They are difficult and passive aggressive. Great doctors, bad office staff. I unfortunately did not get to meet Dr. Belen due to the unacceptable behavior of her medical assistant. After pulling me back over 30 minutes AFTER my appointment was supposed to begin, she immediately had a very nasty attitude with both my mother and I. I've been going to this practice since 2004. I've seen a couple of Nurse Practitioners and Dr M Skelly. First, let me start with. I've never had a problem making an appointment. I call to make my appointment and have always been treated with respect. The nurse practitioners have always been very thorough with any of my diagnosis. Dr. Skelly is also very thorough, very professional and treat you with respect. She that she explain what is happening and we'll talk through it with you using language that you will understand. Dr Jason Meleth is by far the best Dr I've ever seen. He's been my Dr for around 9 yrs and I've had nothing but positive interactions with him. He goes above and beyond, actually listens, takes his time and is extremely personable. I think most people probably don't look forward to seeing a Dr but I always look forward to my office visits with Dr Meleth. Nothing like good hearty belly laughs while discussing health issues, he's such a gem and a great person. I am so grateful a friend recommended him to me years ago. Doctors like him need to be protected at all costs. Follow up to my recent post. This will just solidify what I've posted. Today I received certified letters dropping my wife and I as patients because the therapeutic relationship has been broken. Well I guess that is what happens when you refuse to meet and have an amicable conversation about an issue within your office. It's easier to drop the patient than admit fault. read more

I have been a patient for 6-7 years here. I hate going to the doctor, like it's an anxiety nightmare for me so I avoid it at all costs. I've never had a bad experience here. I feel like every provider I have seen listened to my concerns. They don't talk over me, and actually care about how I feel about the treatment plan. I have an autoimmune disorder that makes medications difficult but anytime I said "can we try something else, I don't tolerate that medication" there's no push back of me just being "dramatic" like I've experienced at other facilities. Today I went in for one issue and just asked if I could also get something else out of the way for my annual exam and they were happy to accommodate. I was willing to make another appointment but they squeezed it in so I didn't have to make another appointment. I've seen 4 of the providers there and I can't give you a single complaint. As long as I'm in Pheonix, this place is my primary care facility. They go out of their way to care for you. I would give 10 stars if I could. read more

after a patient of 28 years, I'm going to switch drs. I have had appointment after appointment canceled by the office, which I have scheduled months in advance I call for prescription refills nothing's done. I have to call The next week to follow up when nothing is still done. The problem is the office and the staff not the doctor however it's like pulling teeth trying to get them to do anything and listen to anything that you say very incompetent people that work here. I went to a new doctor who was absolutely great!! The building is very nice but sort of hard to find. Set back on a street behind other buildings. It's very easy to miss the street you are suppose to turn on. I went up and down that block several times before I ended up calling them. I just couldn't see it. You'd never think to turn right there, it's the first tiny street by the gas station down about a half block, set back a ways and behind other buildings. This is where my family goes. I can always get in when I really need medical care. They are awesome. Kristen Stringer is the best. She listens and is helpful. I never feel judged and she is so knowledgeable. I trust her completely and really happy to have such a great provider. I haven't seen too many of the other providers so I can only say she's awesome. Oh, the lab is so convenient too. You can get your physical labs a week before you go so your provider has them during your appt. And anytime you need more labs, it's right there in the office. It saves you time and is covered under my insurance. read more

6 month wait for new patient appointment. Son tested positive for COVID and I have all the symptoms but was negative- old tests so re-testing when the new arrive from Amazon.. Called to cancel appointment 2 days in advance. Said come on in anyway. ?? I can do a virtual with my current PCP if wanting Paxlovid, I'm resting and taking care of my son instead. Waited 6 months already. Next appointment January (another 6 months). I made a appt then I came here to see reviews. I kept reading bad reviews and don't understand why. I wanted to have a physical but was told that isn't for first appointment. So I went with onw concern thinking I would need a second appt. I met with Dr. Wysong and it was a pleasure. He addressed all my concerns actually. Ordered a X-ray to rule out a chronic knee pain I have as well as blood work for baseline and one concern I had. The process I felt took a long time to check in- form on my phone first then a paper form- but I assume it's all because of new covid protocol. It wasn't horrible just time consuming. All staff I encountered with was really nice. I had a good experience and will definitely go back. read more

I've been coming here for years and it's a hit or miss with the front desk ladies, to be completely honest. I've had rudeness over the phone or great customer service. In person, they're not very friendly and honestly just kind of weird. I will say that the phlebotomist I saw, Tori, was absolutely wonderful and I'm glad I got to get poked by her. I have been going here for about 10 years. Today I was treated so badly by Dr. Meleth. I waited about 1.5 hours to see him. Through the walls you could hear how friendly he was to other patients and spent lots of time while I waited and listened for close to 1,5 hours to be seen. When he arrived to my room, he didn't say hello, complained about my prescriptions that his peer filled, and was short with his responses and demeanor. He clearly had issues with a fellow physician in the practice. He made me feel very uncomfortable as a woman and scared to ask questions. I attended an appointment with my husband poorly. I am now concerned that he may treat my daughter in a similar way, both his patients. My husband was shocked and disappointed in his behavior. My mom and stepdad see him as well. We will be pulling our business and never going back. I thought Dr. Meleth was more professional than that but he clearly has a bad side. read more

First off let me start out by saying this is the most beautiful, clean, and modern medical office I have ever seen! Both the inside and outside is stunning. It's a very large office so they have a huge waiting room with with comfy chairs, tv's, tables, and even a cool train/car track table for the kids. I have always gotten great service over the phone and when I arrive. I love that whenever I call I can usually get a quick appointment for the day of or the next day which is very convenient since I usually only go when I'm super sick and need a prescription quick. I have never had to wait longer than 10min after my appointment time to get called back which is amazing. I go here for my PCP, GYN and if I ever need blood work since they have all on site. I love that it is all in one place. My PCP is Debra Jacoby and my GYN is Dr. England. I actually transferred here for dr. England since she has been my only GYN and I love her. Both doctors are so knowledgeable, personable and really care. Finally I love the patient portal! I know some people complain about the online system but if you actually use it, it's amazing!!! Quick check in on the tablets when you get there makes it easy to verify your information without having to fill out forms. You can go online on the computer or phone app to read/print medical records, pay bills, and even contact your physician! If you have a quick questions about a symptom or medication you can send a quick email and the physician usually gets back the same day or the next day. I have also gotten referred to complete an X-ray and the next day my doctor emailed me the results to save me a trip and money by going into the office. I know it's a lot of information but I truly love this office as it has everything you look for in a doctors office. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new PCP. (: read more

Front desk always sound bored and like they really don't want to be there, don't bother having them do anything that would involved them getting out of their chair. There is no hustle or urgency, they say things with no accountability and their organization and communication is really bad. I've had the manager apologize over the phone before because they told me to come down only to turn me away, then halfway home the manager asked if I could come back because there was miscommunication. This happens time and time again and people are not trained properly. However, I stayed as long as I have because at least the Nurses and Doctors have been great, up until recently. Scheduled an end of day appointment, showed up 20min early to an empty waiting room only to wait another 40min for the doc in the back. After 30 min I actually walked out of the room and asked a nurse if she knew when the do. Would see me, it had been half an hour. "She said she'll be right in" and went to go check, she never came back so after another 5min I walked back out and she said "she's not in there?" Nooooo, otherwise I wouldn't be out here wondering why you didn't come back. I paid for the appointment copay, they took my sample already and I needed to go, I was told I had to stay or they wouldn't do anything, that the doctor couldn't leave her notes through the portal. Finally the doc comes in, no urgency, no apology, told her I was waiting for her...didn't care. Talked for a few min, relayed the same info I told the nurse. She told me the plan and that they'll send over the antibiotics I need to my pharmacy and be right back. Of course their version of "right back" is ridiculous. Again I had to walk out of the room and go look for someone, the doc was at the desk talking to the two nurses, I stood there, the nurse sitting at the computer saw me but continued her conversation. I then pulled out my phone and snapped a photo, they still ignored me, finally I said "excuse me can I go, I really need to leave I've been waiting a long time." The doc said "well I'm putting your plan together" and I asked if she could just send me any notes through the portal (she already told me in the room what I needed to do) "Well sure you can leave without your plan." Not really sure what she meant by that fully but I confirmed that I was still going to receive the antibiotics. She said yes so I left, just shocked by the complete lack of respect and professionalism. With no confidence in them I call up the pharmacy 30min later to see if anything was sent over yet. Nope, of course not! At this point they were now closed so no one was answering when I called, I really wasn't excited to be in pain another day because they can't get their stuff together so I was having to leave messages for the on call docs to make sure they don't just leave for the day without sending the medication over like they said they would. Finally they did get sent over but the hassle to make sure they get their job done was stressful, embarrassing and unnecessary. This place has gone downhill so fast, I've put up with the frustrating front desk for a long time but now the rudeness from doctors...the convenience of being an established patient is truly not worth it anymore here, time to search for a new doctor. Update: The front desk is pretty incompetent as far as trying to get your information right, for the past 4 or so visits I have been asked to provide my insurance card. I tell them every time that I sent it over to them already through email. She takes a whole 2seconds to look and says, I can't find the email and it's not in the deleted folder. I tell them I did in fact send it and ask why they keep asking for it, do they keep losing my information? A few seconds later I quickly pull it up in my sent folder and show them the proof. GET IT TOGETHER LADIES. Not sure I'd trust them with sensitive personal or medical information. read more

Terrible staff overall! And my encounter with "Dr." Was terrible as well. She explained that women don't need to take yearly mammograms, actually gave me bit of a lecture once I insisted on her issuing me my script for the mammo. Among all the bizarre things she said, she told me that in Europe they only check their boobies every five years and that theyre not as paranoid as here in America. Whhhhhhhaaaaaattttt?!?!??????!? P.s. THEY HATE ANSWERING THEIR PHONES, IF YOU CALL, PREPARE TO WAIT 10-20 minutes! They keep trying to force people to go to their portal. What ever happened to legit, professional and proper customer service anyway? If I call I want a human on the line not a robot w gazillion instructions on how to access a portal, get a pin, password and answer screening questions to log in. Terrible! If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible place.....Rebecca Michael is horrible, unprofessional, incompetent, pushy, and uncommunicative. She prescribed medicine (called into pharmacy) for a potential medical issue that she never even spoke to me about first! Crazy! The office staff is hostile and accusatory. This place is dishonest, does unnecessary tests then charges you and doesn't tell you that you will incur the full cost. Do yourself a favor and stay away! I have been a patient here for about 10 years. I called today and was on hold for 10 minutes to make an appointment. When I finally got connected to the receptionist to make the appointment she said I could not make the appointment with having all my medical information available and was a "new rule", really? What happened to customer service at this place anymore and caring about the patients health first before money. Jesus Christ, what is going on? I'll be changing to a more patient center office and handling appointment setting the right way instead of the money hungry approach. Seriously shaking my head. Super disappointed in the staff and Dr Wysong. I will not be back, I refuse to be a patient to a doctor who doesn't act as if they care and doesn't care to dig deeper to help a patient.
