I liked working with my physcial therapist. She seemed knowledgable; however, though the exercises were good, they didn't really help with my back pain. When my sessions ended, my PT asked me to go back and change answers on my questionnaires to indicate that the PT helped. As a medical person myself, I felt uncomfortable going back and changing answers. The other was that though most of the assistants were good, some of them seemed to spend too much time fooling around, and I would have to call to them to find out what the next exercise was.

I was fortunate to schedule 7 visits to feel comfortable enough to make a 3 day drive back to Oregon. I've been to several therapists in the past . One for tearing my hamstring. Several others for back issues. By far, True Care has been the all around best. Raymond Popp the owner ( Ray), showed me right from the start that he wasn't the typical therapist who would just show how to do the exercise and walk away without any engagement. Ray would also do extremity manipulation on my legs when they were sore or tight. I haven't had a therapist show me that kind of care and knowledge about their craft. The staff was great too. They were friendly and would accommodate me with water and good conversation. If you're in need of any kind of therapy I highly recommend True Care Therapy and Rehabilitation.

My pcp and Orthopedic specialists all warned me not to go to a chiropractor. I took a chance and walked into the office seeking care. I was taken care of initially, and i was very excited to think that they were willing to help me. I think that was the goal initially until they realized that I was not going through an attorney or suing somebody. They made many promises. They said they would help me, and set up appointments for physical therapy. However, none of it was done and neither did they follow through with any of their promises. I find it absolutely disrespectful that i was treated that way just because it seemed there wasn't a huge pay out to them, I was willing to use my own insurance AND pay out of pocket to help me with this pain. Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.
