Same for my interaction with the PA who saw me- she asked plenty of questions, gave a thorough exam, and listened to my concerns. I never felt rushed.

What do you want me to prescribe?" I even suggested a chest X-ray, but he dismissively said they couldn't do that because there was no pediatric tech on-site. He offered swabs, but as someone in the medical field, I knew that given the timeline, it wouldn't change treatment. When I declined swabs, his attitude remained rude and dismissive. If he doesn't like helping patients, maybe he should reconsider his job. Families deserve respectful, proactive care, not someone acting like a smart-aleck when kids are sick.

I don't go to the doctor very often, so maybe this is the new standard. But, FASTmed is no where near what I expected. Well, I just got in to the exam room. Nurse took my vitals and heard that I can in to have examined. Let's see how long I wait in here for a doctor. Gosh, they could use some music in here. Well, the primary nurse practitioner came in and examined my foot lump and gave me the likely diagnosis. She ordered an x-ray to confirm. She was thorough and answered all of my questions without my feeling rushed. The medical professionals were wonderful. I just felt they were understaffed to be called a MedFAST URGENT Clinic.
