So, when having family visit from out of town who were desperate to get tattoos with me, I figured if we were going to do it, we'd go close to home. White Lotus was the spot of choice, and a decent one at that. Staff is beyond friendly, welcoming and eager to assist. We met with Dave who gave us a rundown of the place, provided us with rates and allowed us to make an appointment for a later date and email him what we wanted tattooed. Rates range depending on the size, shape, design level and location of the piece - but going rates start at $150/hour - which in the limited research I've done, seems reasonable. On the day of, the girls were eager to get their ink, while I found myself nervous beyond belief. A young woman (her name escapes me now) helped to ensure me everything was going to be okay, that she was there to walk me through it and gave me sound advice when it came to size, shape and locations of the tattoo. Just before she started the first line, I realized I wasn't ready for something permanently on my body and asked to stop. She was gracious and said it was no problem - as many people have this reaction. I paid her for her time but walked away inkless! I'll admit, the attention to detail, line quality and overall end result looked great on our guests - and they left happy! Whenever I'm "ready" for a tattoo or another piercing - I'll head to White Lotus!

Shawn, who used to be at the County Line location, was great. He only charged me $10 (and I would tip him.) A few years went by, and my navel piercing came out in the shower. Arrrrggghhh. Well, then the lockdown happened, and time went by, and there was no way I was going to attempt to redo it myself. Went to White Lotus, only to find that Shawn was gone, and the piercing people had moved to Arapahoe and Dry Creek. I drove there and walked in, and was told that I needed an appointment. This was a surprise, as the County Line location took walk-ins. I spoke with Brian (I think), who assured me that he could use my rose gold ring. I showed up for the appointment, only to find that Brian wasn't there, and I was scheduled with someone else. This guy told me that he couldn't use my ring or my gold barbell, because I hadn't purchased them from White Lotus. I said that I was pretty sure that the barbell had, in fact, come from White Lotus several years ago, but he was adamant. So I had to buy a blingy titanium barbell. I am not the blingy navel type at all, but here we are. Sigh. They didn't have any plain ones, and I didn't want gold because I already have gold. Their selection was extremely limited at the time that I went. They told me that they would be restocking. The piercing process was fast and efficient, and the piercer (young man with blond hair) was pleasant and personable. It wasn't as much fun as getting the original piercing 15 years ago on Colfax, surrounded by friends (when we were all drunk), but times have changed :) It wasn't inexpensive at White Lotus, either. I'll have to go back in a couple of months to switch out the bling for the rose gold (you have to wait six months before switching the piercing), and hopefully it will only be $10 again. We shall see. Or maybe I'll find Shawn somewhere.

Although it was healing, it kept getting irritated and causing a red bump to come and almost go but never entirely. It turned out that the jewelry used was moving too much and was clearly too big. It was very welcoming upon first arrival and I felt understood. The front person was very helpful, as was the piercer who was willing to change out the jewelry for me. Some of the lines are fading horribly, too thin or way too dark, the leaves idek what to even say about those... and some of the lines are extremely uneven. I was recommended to do a coverup but a different tattoo shop bc of how bad this was but I tried to give it a chance to look half way decent. I even had my tattoo artist shade in the leaves and even then the line work just ruins it completely. Also not to mention I have 23 tattoos and all of them have healed perfectly and I have never had a single issue but this tattoo healed awful/caused itching where I thought I was going to get an infection. Not sure if the products used here are actually good quality or disinfected properly... Definitely getting a cover up in the future but good luck everyone else!

Got my labret done and she pierced it with a horse shoe, healed horribly and most painful piercing heal I've gone through. The horseshoe she used was also way too small and left no room for swelling. It ended up embedding in my lip. When I went in to ask for a bar like it should have been pierced with she told me how it heals better with a horse shoe and just opened it more. In mid-August…read more2023, I got my right and left nostrils pierced along with a helix piercing on my left ear, since there was a 3 piercings for $100 sale. All 3 piercings have healed beautifully! I followed the aftercare instructions to a T. Neither nostril formed an irritation bump, even after I switched the jewelry to hoops. The pain went away after like a week and a half, and after having them for a month I couldn't even feel them anymore. Changing them now is easy. I've accidentally brushed my face a few times, which caused the stud to fall out, but I've always just quickly disinfected the jewelry and wiped the piercing with saline before putting it back in. I don't remember the name of my piercer, but he was very nice and made the entire experience easy. This was not recommended by my piercer, but I've found it super helpful when it comes to healing piercings. On amazon, they have saline solution aftercare swabs (I have the Dr Piercing Aftercare brand ones). I carried those around with me for the entire time my piercings were healing and they made my life SO MUCH EASIER. Anyway. On February 10th, 2024, I came to this studio for their Valentine's Day flash tattoo sale. I got there around 1pm, and they let me know that it'd be a 3-4 hour wait. The girls at the front were so sweet and they had me write my name and phone number on a list so that I wouldn't have to wait at the shop the entire time. I got a call right at 5pm, drove over, did the paperwork and got the tattoos I wanted within the hour! Hailee Roach was my artist. She was awesome. She made the experience super relaxing, and answered all of my questions patiently. She mentioned that she does free touch ups, which is super considerate and I plan on going to her for the tattoos I plan on getting in the future! When I was getting tattooed, I could tell that the people working there genuinely enjoyed each other's company. The artists were talking and laughing together. The vibe is a little intimidating (at least for me) when you first walk in, but the staff is so friendly and I couldn't recommend this place more!
