While out celebrating my mom's birthday we decided to be spontaneous and get a few piercings. The…read morestaff were so patient, well informed, and friendly (even when some potential customers got rude because they had filled up all possible appointments for that day). My mom and sister got a few old piercings re-opened and a few new ones as well. Staff are great about explaining everything and were super careful about keeping everything clean, lots of hand washing, multiple sets of gloves, everything sealed and opened in front of you. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Tip: just because they only take walk-ins (unless it's a child's appointment) does not mean there is endless availability (especially on the weekends). When we visited they only had one piercer in, and early in the day filled up their queue and had to turn some folks away. So if you're driving a distance or can't come back another time your best bet is to wait for a weekday, or on the weekends arrive when they open and be willing to kill some time around town. Calling ahead probably wouldn't hurt either.

Nina not only walked me through all of the options with a pricing sheet in front of me, she helped me measure what size hoop would fit my conch best (an issue I've had for YEARS and never had solved which resulted in me never having jewelry in that piercing) and talked me through why certain jewelry wouldn't work well with my anatomy! She gave me time to look through all of the options and helped whenever I needed. I explained some issues I've had with buying crappy jewelry in the past and she didn't shame me about it, but instead offered advice on how to keep my piercings healthy while not using the greatest quality jewelry until i'm able to upgrade it to better stuff in the future. While the jewelry is expensive, the quality is amazing and the pieces are beautiful. If you're going to buy real gold pieces that are going to last, you'll have to know it's going to be a bit more pricey. I reached out to Maira and she was amazing...gave me options to pick another artist. I chose Dany and was really impressed by how talented and dedicated he is to his art. Arrived at 11:30 am and left at 10:30 pm... Dany worked his butt off and he put his heart and soul into my piece. It came out AMAZINGLY. Today I went into buy earrings and I feel like I was totally ripped off. I told the sales associate that I was looking for something that wouldn't tarnish and that had a flat back. She led me to a glass box on the island in the middle of the store. I picked out two studs from the glass container. It was my understanding that these are the earrings that people pick out when they want their ears pierced. Before she went and grabbed the studs and the flat backs, she said they were nonrefundable. I said that was fine. In my mind, nonrefundable means when you buy the item, you can't return it. In this case, what nonrefundable meant was the minute she had opened package the earrings came in, I couldn't change my mind. I don't know why she couldn't just place them in another package. At any jewelry store when you ask the sales associate to take something out of the container, that doesn't mean you are tied to buying that item. What was annoying to me was the backings. For two backings, it was $108. I feel like for that price you need to tell the customer what they're getting into. I did not realize that the backing and the earring were sold separately. Totally a rip off. I walked out of there spending $244 on two studs and two flat backs. I guess I had picked earrings that only one specific backing would fit on? I wish the sales associate had offered me more options or at least told me that each backing was going to be $54 each....... Since she had already opened the package the earrings came inside , I had to make the purchase. I decided to put the earrings on in the store. The earrings and the backings are the size of a small ant and when I asked for her help, she said she could not help me because "she wasn't a nurse." Furthermore, when I asked if there was a device that could help grab the earring and place it in my ear that I could use, she said she could not allow me to use it. Overall, the earrings are cute and I don't think they'll tarnish (they shouldn't for freaking $300 ) but I wouldn't buy jewelry from here. I got a two word phrase, "Let God" the process of choosing where I want it and how went perfectly, but once he was done and I looked in the mirror the letters were a bit wonky and uneven. This was my first tattoo experience so I was a bit nervous to speak up about my doubts, but I asked another artist if he noticed what I did. He agreed with me and said he'll tell the artist to fix it for me. My artist, Matt, came over and proceeded to fix it as best he could. He was a bit sassy with me... I asked if he noticed the L in "Let" he said "what about it". I then told him i think making the bottom of the "L" line a bit thicker would maybe fix it. I asked him if he thinks so and he replied with "I don't know, we'll see". His attitude and demeanor towards me after I spoke up about my tattoo just wasn't great. Overall, I am glad I got my tattoo, I do like it, but the experience and outcome of it could have been much better.

He taught me how to drive, owned over 100 cars, and loved driving more than anything, so I figured a car would be a great way to memorialize him. Matty was the artist to bring my idea to life. He designed a mid to late 60's mustang with florals and a silhouette of my grandpa in the driver's seat. I was in love with the design as soon as he unveiled it. Based on the placement I wanted the piece on my arm I had to lay down in an awkward position, but Matty worked quickly and tattooed delicately. I couldn't be any happier with the finished product! As far as the shop is concerned, everyone was super polite. It can be intimidating walking into a tattoo shop, and you can tell they cultivated an environment for all here.
