I went in with stomach pain wanting to get it figured out. Waited around 30-45 minutes to be seen by a doctor. He took my blood pressure pushed on my stomach and concluded "you should go to a hospital" to get it checked out. He then released me with a diagnoses of stomach pain. He didn't solve any issues by coming to any sort of conclusion and I got a bill for 724$ that insurance barely covered half of. What I received was barely tier 1 and they charged me tier 5 because I went through insurance instead of prepaying. The healthcare system is shit in our country and this is a prime example. Do not come here expecting to get any sort of helpful information. read more

We're from Switzerland and my girlfriend had to go here because of her eye. We didnt have to wait very long and the nurses were so amazing and friendly. The wait was actually longer than I thought it would be since there was no one ahead of me but I think it's because they only have one doctor. It might be because it just opened. This is the BEST Urgent Care in South Florida. I drive all the way from Homestead and I do not mind because I know I am going to get the best care possible. The front desk admitting team, nurses and doctors are always extremely caring and attentive. I think it's been over 10 years I've been coming to this urgent care. From stomach viruses, to flu symptoms and even a bad cut which they stitched up quite nicely, not once have I had an issue. On the contrary, only praises! I know some staff have changed over the months/years but regardless it still feels like home. I've been here before and really love the convenience. Wait times usually aren't too insane but you can find them online prior to arrival. You can also call ahead to put your name on the list which they will hold for an hour. They have plenty of beds. They have free coffee and a TV in the lobby as well as a vending machine. The staff is friendly. It's conveniently located on US1 in a shopping plaza. Everything is very clean and organized. read more

Safe your self headache and time and go straight to a hospital emergency room. These Urgent Cares are just out to make a buck and forgot what giving proper healthcare is!! They scare you and tell you to go to the emergency room and don't even diagnose you to see what the real issue is. They don't check you, don't know why they have the equipment, they just listen to you and automatically send you off. Will be reporting this to my insurance as they pay them for not providing service. So far this goes for the Miami Lakes and Doral locations, their doctor's are Quacks. read more

Oh Urgent Care, how I love that you exist! Baptist Urgent Cares are really convenient seeing you don't have to wait hours at an ER. My munchkin sliced his foot outside on a broken tile and just by seeing the fat coming out I knew a trip to the urgent care was needed. A benefit of Baptist urgent cares is their website allows you to see the wait time for all of them so we looked it up and off we went to the one in Pinecrest. The nurse came out super friendly offered some juice for my munchkin, and informed us that the wait wouldn't be to long, as they were discharging a few people at that moment. Go figure my munchkin fell asleep in the waiting room, and the nurse was able to checkout his foot all while he was sleeping. Once the doctor came in(Dr. Orozco) she informed us that he would need stitches. Bummer, but knew it was coming. So we woke the munchkin up and of course he cried while they were stitching him up, then stopped as soon as they were done. During the stitching the doctor noticed he needed more pain meds so she gave more. The doc was very aware of everything as she should be but some docs aren't. The nurse kept talking to my munchkin trying to calm him down, being his cheerleader. Vey kind. The nurses and doctors were very kind and had a ton of patience. Facility was very clean and all was in order. If in the area, and in need I will definitely come here. read more

Save yourself some time and go any place else. After an hour and a half and a couple of test. Then say you need a scan we don't do here, you need to go to the ER for the scan. Seems like when I get to the ER they would just send me for the scan. But no...got to fleece that insurance company...a couple more be tests, an ER admission and a 4 hour wait, I finally get the scan. Top this another 2 hours to get results. . This health care system is suspect at best, the urgent Care and the hospital get to bill the insurance company and I get to pay 2 co-payments. read more

If you want good care, don't go here. Go somewhere else. Front desk was very kind and welcoming, nurses and doctors weren't. They were playing loud party music in triage area , which seems very unprofessional. They were all laughing loudly and yapping away about other things over the loud music. I am early in my pregnancy and bc I didn't choose a ob/gyn yet, I could hear all of them talking about my situation and why I didn't have a doctor chosen yet and why I couldn't wait until the morning to go see one. How rude is that? On top of that the physician was repeating my name to himself out loud mocking my name. The PA was trying to be so very kind to me and helpful but physician was denying all of his requests for me. They refused blood work /labs and fluids because I heard the staff saying ' if you do labs now we will never get out of here on time' I will not come back here again. It's a shame that these people wear Baptist without the pride /morals that it's supposed to represent. This place is terrible and the only reason they're getting 2 stars is because of the front desk. I arrived at 7am when the facility opened and was the only person there. I got excellent service and fast! The front desk check-in process was fine, what you would normally expect. The nurses were personable and took time to listen to me. The doctor was thorough and I felt everyone was very helpful. My pain was addressed quickly once they understood what the issue was. And, they were accommodating with some special request about the type of pain meds I got. Would recommend this location, but with the understanding my experience was probably unique because of the timing of my visit. read more

I went in for an infection, the receptionist was nice and they took me in fast. The doctor was nice, but they did not do their job. She asked what my symptoms were and was rushing me. They did not do any physical exams, no blood pressure taken nor temperature even though I said I woke up feeling really bad. All they did was ask what was wrong and I even had to tell them to check the area of infection. They prescribed something and that was all. PLUS the staff needs to take an ethics course, all they did was talk about how patients did not know how to answer questions and how annoying they were. Do not go there. I never write reviews, but this is serious. How does a doctor not do any physical exams if the patient tells them they aren't feeling well? read more

I am shocked by my recent experience at the facility. It is not a new thing to know that urgent care facilities take an extremely long time for even the most minor things , however , this situation was beyond disrespectful to me and to all the patients waiting outside. When I came back to this facility for a wound check follow-up and a tetanus shot, which I was assured would me only half an hour at the most, I ended up waiting in triage for over an hour to receive the shot after the doctor came in come up to my finger, said it's fine and gestured for me to leave. The reason it took so long, was because the nurses and staff were having a very loud meeting in direct earshot of all the patients in triage in which they were reminded to please adhere to all chest pain complaints from patients walking in since the facility was having a lot of heart attacks slip through the cracks. When I got up to walk away, because who wants to be seen in a facility where heart attacks are being overseen , I was yelled at to "stay stay will do your shot right now." Completely unprofessional and a disgrace to Baptist Health. I will never be going here again, even though it's within walking distance of my home. read more

I went there because I was feeling horrible with fever, chest pain with my cough and short of breath. They took me in quickly b/c of the chest pain, which I advised many times it was when I coughed. They took my temperature with laser machine and stated under 100, I was sure it was more by my shivers and I had taken Motrin 2 hours before that and it had not done much. They tested me for flu. Took an additional 30 min for someone to come back. I kept shivering and having shortness of breath. The nurse said if I wanted she could give me medicine and if I wanted she'd bring me more Gatorade. YES. I wanted I was feeling terrible. Then DR finally comes in and asks what's the problem, I explain my symptoms and he says I have a UTI!! I'm very confused and ask him if they can tell that from a flu test. He says oh no I think I have wrong patient. I said, yeah I think so. Not once was I even offered a cover and if they didn't have, they could have said something like I'd love to give you a cover but we don't have. They checked my temp again and it was 102 this time. They gave me Motrin and said to wait 15 min and if it was lower they'd release me with all meds necessary. They finally came back 1/2 later and no change in my temp. Then they said I was ready to go which again shocked me. Not once did they ask how was I getting home, if they can call a ride. Considering I mentioned I was dizzy several times to. My biggest concerns were that they weren't listening to me and my symptoms. I called my husband to pick me up and glad I did. Very disappointed at the care there. Probably to go the baptist hospital ER next time b/c the staff at Pinecrest just go through the motions without listening to patients. One final thing, I stated I was very nauseous and said the would call in zofran to assist with nausea, they never did. I ended up throwing up a couple of times that night on top of having the flu. read more

Honestly this was the worst doctor experience I've ever had. Dr. Zamora barely examined me and proclaimed that I have bronchitis and need antibiotics. He literally shined a light in my throat. Touched his stethoscope to my chest for 2 seconds and then walked out. I've never had a worse examination. Please don't go there. Don't waste your time or money. Joke. read more

Excellent service. Wonderful doctors and nurses. Conveniently located. Reasonable wait times. I've twice visited this location. The first for a case of strep throat that was cured swiftly with a welcomed shot of antibiotics! The second visit was for my daughter's allergic reaction. I took my wife there for an ankle injury. After waiting for more than an hour a doctor came in to the exam room and said "the urinalysis is positive". I'm like what? Then after another hour the radiology tech came into the exam room and took my wife for an x-ray. After she was brought back to the exam room another 45 minutes passed. A lady came in and said "no breaks, no fractures just a bad contusion, and about the positive urinalysis". I say I think you have the wrong patient. She leaves then after another 30 minutes the doctor comes in and says there is a fracture. there were 3 other people there for treatment. And on and on... read more
