Horrible. I went in right when I started to feel sick. I'm currently pregnant. The Dr said she can't give me anything bc I'm pregnant. Needless to say it took 2 more trip to get amoxicillin, which you ARE allowed to have pregnant. So 2 trips were a waste of time. I got horribly sick due to not getting the medication in time. I missed a week of work and now they just charged me 75$ extra a month later without my authorization. Run run far away from MDNow!!! read more

08/25 Upon entering the facility I was able to see that there was not a lot of people , mind you I put in my time on the app so I could get there on time and not have to wait that much. Estimated time was 30 minutes , they were able to see me after an hour and 30. As I was waiting for my name to be called, coworkers were not being modest or discreet in regards to a patient's condition that they were assessing . Im pretty sure the whole lobby heard it because if I was sitting in the very far of the lobby and I heard the discussion between both medical assistant about a patient being positive on a disease well known, delicate and private then the those people sitting in the front were able to listen to it too. Young lady that took me to the room made up my vital sings never took BP,HR,OXYGEN SAT , or anything like that mind you i paid for this service out of my own money. Just overall really bad experience the fact there is no privacy with pt symptoms or results and coworker's discuss about peoples condition's really throws me off. never again !! read more

We waited for at least an hour to be seen by a nurse. My husband had a very serious work injury and their sense of urgency was non existent. (Although this was a follow up my husband was in a lot of pain from having to walk around). They had no consideration. To top it all off, the person in charge of the front desk was preoccupied with his Duolingo lessons for the entire time that we were waiting in the lobby. I found this urgent care to be quite horrible. I walked in and I had to walk up to the desk and ask to check-in. It was clear that the ladies did not want to work. Check-in was fast. After check-in, I waited almost 45 minutes to get called which I found super weird because there was no one waiting. There was one lady who was there while I was checking in but she left as soon as I was done checking in. Once I was called the nurse who was taking my pressure and asking me what was wrong kept sneezing and clearly seemed sick. She had to keep asking me to repeat myself because of her sneezing. Someone sick should not be working. The room I was taken to, was truly appalling. The garbage can was overfilling. Gloves, tongue sticks, and more was hanging out. Things that have been in other patients. I did not feel safe in this urgent care. I don't plan on coming back ever. The only thing I appreciated was the doctor. I been coming to this location for the past three-four years and I love the service I have always gotten from MD Now. Their front desk staff is always amiable and polite, I was able to see the doctor about 5 minutes after I checked in. The doctors were understanding and listened to all my concerns.He prescribed the medication I needed since I was having a bad cold or flu. These folks are wonderful! The office is clean and is easily accessed with plenty parking space. The intake staff are kind and attentive and very pleasant even though it was close to closing time when I walked in. Dr Mercedes was so compassionate and took care of me and my eye injury, she knew how painful it was for me but she focused on finding out what was wrong and she did! I am so thankful as the pain was horrible when the lights hit my eye. She had all the equipment she needed and she took care of me quickly. Really enjoyed my experience. This is so far my second visit to two different MD Now and was satisfied with both experiences. I came in for a follow up visit. Despite there being a pretty occupied waiting room, the waiting time was reasonable. All the staff were really nice. My favorite part was Dr.Yoo. Older parents can be stubborn. My mother had this wicked cough, horrible wheezing and bouts of time where she was struggling to breathe... a problem that had been steadily getting worse for over a week... but no she was "fine". I convinced her (forced her) to go to an urgent care because I knew she had bronchitis or some other bad upper respiratory problem. This urgent care was the nearest one that took her insurance. We came in and signed in... gotta say I think this is the nicest urgent care I have seen. Comfortable waiting room, easy check in process thru a tablet... you have to wait a bit, though, to see a doctor. Doctor checked her out, said she had bronchitis (and I looked at my mother and said I told you so!) and she got the meds she needed to get better including some antibiotics. Mother is all better now... all in all got what we needed. This is a good urgent care. read more

The treatment I received didn't work and when I went back for a reevaluation I was told I needed to pay a new consultation. I was misdiagnosed by you so you need to be accountable for that and take responsibility, and don't charge patients who need a solution to their health issue from the first day they visit your clinic. I ended up going to another UC and paying again but that's on me. Not paying for a new misdiagnosis from you. Plus an awful service at the front desk. Never going back. read more

I am giving this place 1 star only because THERE IS NO OPTION FOR UTTERLY HORRIBLE. Had I read the reviews the most recent reviews I NEVER WOULD HAVE DRIVEN the 20 minutes. I arrived @5:35pm to get a Preop cosmetic medical clearance REQUEST (PHYSICAL) , CBC (bloodwork) and a chest X-ray. After going back and forth with the young girl in the front about being charged for a visit with a doctor for orders that I was already in possession of and a physical that consisted of services that would not be rendered but was told I don't have to have them done it's an option. So I am paying for services that aren't going to be rendered. Long story that can't me made short. After her making 3 trips to the glass room to speak with a woman who I was told was the manager I was told 199.00 for a PHYSICAL/ CBC / Chest X-ray. I pay and WAIT....AND WAIT..:: watch other people come in and go back and I AM STILL WAITING. After 1hr and 15 min I ask the young girl why were other people that was not in the building when I arrived being served before me. Her response was NO ONE HAS GONE BACK THAT CAME IN AFTER YOU. Clearly a lie because the office was EMPTY when I arrived. After going to the back I had vitals done, I asked who would do my physical I was told the young lady who draws my blood. The Dr. I assume that's who he was came in and asked me what type of surgery I was having asked for my form and left. NEVER RETURNED. I had my blood drawn and chest X-ray done and NEVER GOT A PHYSICAL. I PAID FOR A DAMN PHYSICAL. I asked to have my form filled out DOCTOR REFUSED said he could not do it. So I said I paid to have a physical and didn't get one and the young lady at the front who must have ESP AND A CRYSTAL BALL that see into the exams room told me YOU DID HAVE A PHYSICAL. I told her how does she know and what consist of a physical and her response was VITALS AND OTHER THINGS. Clearly she HAD NO CLUE. I then was asked we can give you a physical paper... the issue is I PAID FOR A PHYSICAL AND DID NOT GET ONE!!! The young girl wanted to out talk me and rudely at that about what i had done. Anyways I will be disputing charges with bank and will be filing a complaint and asking for a credit to my card. If you are in the need of treatment STAY AWAY AND RUN THE ORHER WAY!!! Everything about this place is HORRIBLE!!! The smart mouth Hispanic girl at the desk should be trained again because somewhere she was not properly trained or she just don't give a rats ASS!! In June 4, 2021 my wife came in for a school physical. As simple and easy as it gets. Until she had to get her blood drawn. I've been in the medical field for over 15 years and i can tell you i can throw a needle across the room and get my wife's veins. A phlebotomist student could get her. After missing her twice this lady wanted to blame it on my wife's blood being thick! What the hell? Lady, what kid of BS excuse is that. And she was using a butterfly!! Her lack of skill was obvious. my wife complained and instead of finding someone else the site manager was yelling at her for complaining! If you're afraid of needles or not comfortable. I have been sick for 10 days and finally decided I couldn't "kick" the bug. I went online and looked for the closest "urgent care" and two famebyp within a mile. The one with over a hundred reviews and over 4 stars was MD Now. I registered online and requested an appointment. It took me 4 minutes from my house to get there. I was greeted in a pleasant manner in a nice, clean office that looked modern and up kept. The check in process took about 5 minutes of that as all done via iPad with what I'd pre-sent. I paid my co-pay and was finished. I waited just shy of 30 minutes. I was seen and asked a bunch of questions regarding my history and symptoms by a PA. He took my vitals and shortly, I mean in 5 minutes a pleasant female doctor came in. She too asked questions and checked my breathing. After assessing, she sent the PA back in to give me a shot and give me some asthma /nebulizer treatment. When done, the doctor came back and explained the meds she was prescribing. The PA answered some of my questions, and walked me out! The front desk person thanked me and checked all my prescriptions were sent and wished me a speedy recovery. GREAT first experience at this location. I'd recommend and return. read more

Never again. Took my daughter in with flu symptoms. The doctor told us that she is young and healthy and shouldn't take Tamiflu because she can just fight it out. I told him we were traveling soon. He kept talking about himself. Several miserable days later I had to take her to the pediatrician anyway. I paid all that money for urgent care for nothing and her pediatrician went ahead and gave her the Tamiflu anyway. She could have had a faster turn around if not for this doctor. read more

Went on April 7 with asthma only, had a new nurse check my temperature it was 97.6. The other 2 nurses and Dr turn me away. What happen to Dr's oath to serve the sick and with insurance. Called today on 4/14/2020. Spoke to a rep to know why nomine has called me back, the rep stated the manager did or called cause I came in coughing. They are there to serve the public which they did not. Went to another MF in Pinecrest and they where fantastic they saw me right away and confirmed it was asthma. Never coughed once in cutler bay. The young lady who helped me in the back put all of my info into the system, had the dr come and see me, and then the phlebotomist came in and drew blood. Total process took about 30 mins from check in to walk out. Phlebotomist was great too. No pain. Withdrawal of my blood was quick as well. Great experience. Would go there again. read more

I went to MD Now to take a Covid-19 test. They send my specimen with out my information. Lab was not able to perform the exam. I called for 5 days, I was promise a resolution and no one ever called me back. I was on hold for over 34 mins and the manager didn't even had the courtesy to get on the phone with me. I told them to forget about my test because I was gonna go test somewhere and they still charge my insurance for a service they didn't provide. I came because I had been spitting up blood and was under the pretense I had strep. Took an hour for them to see and test me for strep. Results showed I didn't have strep however they still decided to give me antibiotics without checking to see if I had a bacterial infection. Careless prescription of antibiotics contributes to antibiotic resistance and it's a real shame this place didn't take the steps to confirm what I have is bacterial. Left without being officially diagnosed with anything. Told that my symptoms might be bronchitis but never given a definite answer. All in all an expensive visit which resulted in no diagnosis and a careless prescription of antibiotics as well as coughing medication (even after I explicitly stated I had not been coughing). read more

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon around 3:45pm. I had checked in online earlier in the day for 4pm. When I got there I got attended right away. There were only 2 other people there. They gave me an iPad to register my info since it was my first time there and it had recognized that I had checked in earlier. The waiting area appeared clean and had a water fountain. In less than 5 minutes I was brought it and seen by a doctor who was able to prescribe me medicine and antibiotics for my throat and ear pain. I'm so glad everything went smoothly and I didn't have to wait long. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 star is because I wish they had a pharmacy so I wouldn't have had to stop somewhere else to pick up my medicine. read more

I went online and made an appointment for 6:15p for a sports physical. My husband and son sat in the lobby with 4 others until nearly 8pm when they starting to bring in patients because they were closing. The doctor took 5 minutes to do the physical without barely touching him. Making an appointment didn't make a difference since they were there for 2 hours. What can I say. I come in the wait was short I must admit. When the Doctor Villaverde sees me. He says for a cold you need to wait it out no medication will help. I say why didn't you tell me that before you take my co pay you knew what my symptoms were. I have been to Doctors in my life in the pass and there is always something for your symptom. No problem still using the old fashion paper I was diagnosed and provided with a prescription in less than 90 minutes. Co pay of $25 what more can you ask for.
