Travis came within 4 hours, assessed the moisture penetration in the walls, floors/ceilings and kitchen cabinets. He wrote out a detailed plan and cost sheet that was reasonable. The plan included opening up a small section of the attic flooring, interior wall and cabinet bases, removing soaked insulation and then strategically placing10 commercial fans and two dehumidifiers to help us dry out. It was after 6 pm when he left us to go on to the next flooded home. We are so thankful for his prompt help.

He also worked during the week of Thanksgiving- coming daily to check on the drying-abatement issue. Additionally he finished strong- with the final touches and cleaning up. His work is very professional- using all right materials to protect our kitchen, equipment and supplies to do the job right. We already want to use him again- hopefully when our ceiling isn't falling on us! His work felt like a combination of professional and treating our home like his own. Just call him!

We contacted several other roofing companies that were working in the neighborhood and their bids were at minimal, 5 times more that Manuel's bid. We have selected Centex Carpet and Paint over other large Roofing Companies. Manuel was very honest, sincere, kind and considerate. He did not asked us to sign any contracts on the first meeting, and he suggested several options of fixing the back siding. Manuel had waited until the weather was sunny and warm with no rain in the forecast and completed a great job on our back siding. He replaced areas with holes and painted the entire back side of the house. Remember, Manuel's bid was at least, 5 times less than other local and national roofing companies that had their company sign all over the neighborhood. I strongly recommend Centex Carpet and Paint. We will be contacting Manuel in a few months to paint our house and replacing the carpet.

They buy cheap product to do the fix and I hones6 don't think they have a clue of what they are even doing and this high rating of stars or people have to be their very own and their friends rating them because believe me when I tell you they don't do the job right and will swear when it's wrong and fall back apart that you are the blame. Steve with Protection Appliance Service helped us locate a stove top knob for our "new" stove top…read more Initially, when I was cleaning the stove I thought some white and thick food item spilled on the knob and hardened on the knob. Actually, the white substance came from something hot sitting next to it and melted the knob. You probably ask, "how can that be with a new, metal knob?" Actually that was my exact question. News flash: The knob was made out of plastic. It looks like stainless steel and you could not tell for how much we paid for the stove top that it was plastic. However, all those knobs are plastic. Fortunately, Steven tracked down two of the knobs...we replaced one and have one in reserve. I suppose it's no different than the evolution of cars. We went from cars made from steel to cars made from fiberglass. There is even plastic in car interiors these days. Many high-end cars no longer have leather. It's called other things but is faux leather (vegan leather, sustainable leather, vinyl leather and pleather). Many cars have "vegan" versions of expensive materials like wood and leather. The knob has been replaced. The stove top is back to it's original state. Steve always performs at a very high level and we have been pleased with his service.

I Yelp'd carpet cleaning in the cedar park area, called Youngs and they came out that same day. Aaron worked us in to his busy schedule on a Friday afternoon, just to spot treat... I replied by text at 8:40 explaining the appointment was supposed to be after 10. Their response was to claim they had called "a few times" and to tell me to call back if I decide to make an appointment. That statement was not accurate, as there was only one call and the appointment had already been scheduled. Canceling an appointment because a customer didn't answer the phone an hour and a half before the agreed time is unreasonable. Misrepresenting the situation afterward makes it even worse. He did reply saying ok he will come after 10 but , then changed up on payment by check etc. that was unsettling and seems that details change too much . Needless to say.. I'm too uncomfortable with this unstable communication. I decided then to just cancel as there's no trust in this communication so, how can I trust the repairs? Very disappointing experience and not the level of professionalism I would expect from a service company. Rearranging MY schedule for them to be treated this way is so frustrating.
