    Bar B Q Tonite Platter

We were looking for a quick spot for dinner after an escape room and loved it here at Bar B Q Tonite. It doesn't look super fancy but it was busy inside at around 6:30pm and there is a medium sized private parking lot beside it. We ordered the Bar B Q Tonite platter which had 3-4 of each type of Kebab or fish. This came with 4 naan. We also ordered the lamb biriyani and a paneer and dal. These were pretty decently sized and for 4 people we were super full at the end. Pricing is very reasonable for the portion, each of us paid around $25 including everything. Service was great, waiters were nice and came to check on us a couple of times in case we needed anything. Definitely satisfied our cravings for Pakistani/Indian food.

BBQ Tonite is the best spot to get original Pakistani style Barbecue! We drive all the way from Scarborough to dine here because we know theres no decent Pakistani BBQ spots anywhere in Markham or Ajax, Mississauga is definitely where it's at! Make sure you try their Bihari Kabab and Chicken Boti, both are really good. Their Lamb Chops are also really good, but unfortunately rather expensive for the amount of chops you get. Their Chicken Biryani is not good so definitely steer clear of any non-BBQ items since that is not their specialty. I've also tried their Tarka Dal which is delicious as well. Lastly, when you go make sure you get ONLY GARLIC NAAN! Their original "butter" naans aren't even real naan's - they look like frozen roti. Their garlic naan however looks like a fresh tandoori roti and tastes absolutely DELICIOUS!

I ordered from Uber Eats and was very excited to try this place. The presentation was messy, but that's normal for delivery. The reason I'm writing this review is because the food was just not good and had to throw it away. One of the chicken dishes was filled with bones and burnt wings. A lot of people do not want animal bones in their mouth, especially when the menu doesn't warn you that an item is bone-in. The other chicken dish, butter chicken, was more like a soupy mess that tasted like spaghetti-o's. The chunks of chicken had a lot of fat and gristle. The third dish was Kahari Chicken. The flavor was good but I found a hair in it. That was when I had enough, bagged it all up, walked outside my hotel and threw it in an outside trash can. This place was an expensive disappointment. I can not recommend

Their kababs are mouthwateringly delicious!!!! The place is very busy.... you may have to wait in queue for quite long, and the food takes another 20~30 minutes to come to your table. But this wait is definitely worth... the food is delicious!! The tastes are quite different from the other kaboob places in GTA. We ordered Behari Kabab... well-marinated beef, cooked on charcoal fire and served on a sizzling platter. Also had Maghaz Masala (cow brain, cooked with spices), this one is quite rare to find in GTA I believe. The service is good, the servers are very attentive and prompt. From the parking lot you can get the appetizing aroma of the kababs... I would suggest, take off your jackets and keep them in the car.

The food isn't bad but be prepared to wait for a minimum of ONE HOUR, no matter what you order! We waited 2 hours and they didn't even put our order in But yes, sometimes their food makes up for the long wait to the table or looking wait for food. You just have to be proactive lol. I recommend the bbq items, nihari and fish. Do not try the charga! Dry ! And not that good. Their items are also pretty expensive but it's ok for a one time thing every now and then

This is my go-to place for authentic Pakistani and indian (hyderabadi) cuisine and i would rate the biryani the best in GTA. I tried the kadai lamb with butter naan and lacchha parantha. Though on the spicy side, the mutton is sumptuous and cooked to perfection with perfect blend of spices and the aroma amplifies the hunger. Chicken biryani is as Hyderbadi as it can get served with mirchi salan, raiti and salad. I have tried the mutton biryani too which is just as good. This place has a good range of beef kebabs and bihari kebab is quite liked. Not really a place for vegetarians though the new branch has a few veggie options on the menu Recommended : chicken/lamb biryani, seekh kebab, lahori fish Cost for two : Reasonably priced, about $35 for two.

I usually don't go to Pakistani/Indian food restaurant ls as my mom makes better food. I came here because if a family event, 15 of us in total. The first thing I noticed were the prices. They seemed fairly cheap to me: most dishes were around $10. We ordered about $250 worth of food, which was way more than needed. We ended up taking 25% of the food home. The highlight was their kebab platter for four ($40). It contained a variety of meat (chicken seekh kebab, beef seekh kebab, chapli kebab, fish) and four naans. There naans are massive and tasty. The other high light was their maghaaz which had great Masala and was cooked well. The downsides was that their curries and their chargha were not good at all. We had pretty much 2 full chargha left out of 3 that we ordered. It was extremely over cooked.

Best Biryani in Mississauga for dine in:) Ask for "Mirchi ka salan" with biryani if you want to experience authentic Hyderabad style biryani. Visited for lunch. I've been here for dinner as well but sadly there's a long wait on weekends. They should open up the patio and seat ppl there indeed of using it as waiting room. But I'm sure it's got something to do with the city.

Every time we've been here the kebabs are really delicious and a great combination of spicy and soft but not too mushy. They are very tasty and we always have a great time when we come. We've been a few times with family to the larger location but came to the smaller one with just my husband. We were lucky enough to get seated soon after since we had called in and made a reservation. The food was good but sometimes the prices can get a little steep.

Made a quick stop for lunch with coworkers. There were very few parking spots up front, luckily we car pooled! Been here a couple of times before. The service received definitely improved! Much more friendly!! We ordered garlic naan and regular naan, pretty standard quality and cost. We also got the fish pakora, lamb biryani and kebabs. The fish pakora was pretty good, it was my favorite dish hands down. It might have been a little too greasy to some, perfect for me! Suggestion to the owner. The patio was pretty much used as storage, what a pity. It has good potential to be converted to more dinning space for when the weather is nice. Overall it was good. I'd go back and try some of the other dishes fellow Yelpers suggested.

This review applies for the take out food section only. I was invited by some friends to try this spot at their place. I was intrigued as this spots claim to fame is authentic BBQ from the land of the pure (Pakistan). I was lucky enough to tag along for the pickup. The initial impression I got was this is your typical any town Canada restaurant with a nondescript exterior. When one goes in your impression does change as they have an open kitchen which can be a bad thing if you ask me. In the few minutes I spent there I found the place to be quite hot and ambiance is not particularly inviting (read this is by no means a fancy place). The smell of spices does permeate the air so if you are not used to it be prepared. I had a chance to pick up their menu and found it to be quite authentic and full of Pakistani BBQ dishes (without opening a Pandora box read there were quite a few beef dishes here as opposed the other BBQ places you visit in from sub continent) My hosts had pre-orded the following Bihari Kebab, Reshmi kebab, chana masala, raita, salad and some nans. Bihari Kebab (beef) was the star here very authentic with the melt in the mouth feel as the meat was marinated and spiced very well. Full marks here. Reshmi Kebab (ground chicken) was OK but I am not a fan of this kebab as ground chicken IMO doesn't belong on the grill. Devoid of much taste but its due to the meat being used and not due to the lack of spices. Not my cup of tea. Chana Masala was quite hot and made everyone reach for the water half way. I enjoyed this dish as they didn't pull any punches here and this one packed a wallop quite authentic IMO. Nan bread were just so so , I guess the time from the oven to ride home didn't do it justice as this bread is supposed to be eaten fresh. Salad and Raita was just run of the mill stuff. Folks this place is quite authentic and is worth the drive from TO IMO. I will be back to try the other stuff as apparently the fish is quite good and maybe even try the Bar BQ Tonite platter (yes they do spell it that way on their menu :) as one can get a bit of everything.

    Their infamous Garlic Naan
    Jamal H.

The Chicken Boti or Butter Chicken w/ their Garlic Naan are must try dishes for anyone stopping by. Would have given 5 stars if it was only the food, but their service is average. Not bad, but nothing special. Their coal oven adds a distinct taste, which I like, that I haven't had anywhere else. Anybody that's interested in or wanting to try Indian/Pakistani food need to come here.

(1/5) I rarely leave…read morenegative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish, especially for a restaurant that positions itself as a premium dining destination. We arrived around 9:15 PM with our two young children (ages 2 and 6). What nobody informed us was that around 10 PM the restaurant transforms into a nightclub/disco, with music becoming so loud that it was genuinely uncomfortable and potentially harmful for a toddler's ears. Had someone simply mentioned this while seating us, we would have happily chosen another time or another place. That lack of communication alone was extremely disappointing. The décor is beautiful and the restaurant looks stunning. Unfortunately, that's where most of the positives end. Food Review: * Lotus Stem Kebab - Terrible. It was basically a regular kebab with a piece of lotus stem in the middle. Very uninspiring. 1/10 * Cream of Chicken Soup - Excellent. The kids absolutely loved it. 9/10 * Shroom Indulgence - Average. Just seasoned mushroom caps; nothing memorable. 5/10 * Palak Bocconcini - Easily one of the worst dishes I've had. It tasted like canned spinach and lacked freshness, flavour, and texture. 0/10 * Shahi Laal Maas - Served cold. The meat was tough, rubbery, and difficult to eat. It honestly felt like it had been sitting before being served. 1/10 * Missi Roti - Very good. * Green Chilli Laccha Paratha - Very good. * Roomali Roti - Excellent. * The Big Fat L.I.T Indian Wedding - Extremely watered down. I've had many Long Island Iced Teas, and this was among the weakest. 2/10 * The Paan Panther - Again, watered down and disappointing. 2/10 * Celestial Citrus - The best drink we ordered. Really enjoyable. * On the Cloud (Mango Lassi) - Nice presentation, but the lassi itself was slightly sour and below average. * Fresh Berry Tres Leches - Delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. The service was inconsistent. The staff who took our order were warm, polite, and welcoming. However, the staff delivering food were the complete opposite. When we politely asked if the music volume could be reduced because of our children, the response was shocking. One staff member told us, "We're all over Instagram. This is how it is. Didn't you know?" Since we could barely hear anything, we had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. She then said something along the lines of, "That's the point--we don't want anyone to hear." The dismissive attitude, facial expressions, and arrogance were completely unnecessary and left a very poor impression. A restaurant can have great décor, but hospitality is what brings guests back. My ratings: * Food: 1/10 * Service: 3/10 * Ambience (before the nightclub music): 8/10 * Ambience (after 10 PM): 2/10 * Family-friendliness: 0/10 If you're planning to visit with young children, be aware that after 10 PM the atmosphere changes completely into a high-volume party venue. That may be enjoyable for some guests, but families deserve to be informed beforehand so they can make an informed decision. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant family dinner turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had. We won't be returning, and I cannot recommend it based on our experience.

Prerna in particular took our order and I loved how she took care of us, gave us great suggestions on the food options and her hospitality was spot on. Another server came to replace our appetizer plates for dinner plates but seemed confused on how to do this (what?). We had to help her clear the table so she could put the plates out. Then we waited for half an hour, with no sign of food my husband went to the kitchen to find a server. Finally someone came to our table and asked us what we would like to order. We said we ordered over an hour ago. At this point the restaurant was packed. It appeared that they didn't have enough people working to have the restaurant run smoothly. 35 minutes later our mains began to trickle out. Our original server/ owner came out and said "Sorrry it's so so busy but I told you to tell me when you were ready for your mains." It was pretty sleazy because it was obvious he had set this up to be my fault. I told him "You disappeared for an hour how could I ask you?" He continued to apologize and then walk away. I didn't realize this place was in nightclub mode from 6pm. Loud music blaring from televisions which is fine, a million type of lights, a live flute player walking through the restaurant while the background music blared through the tvs. If you get overstimulated easily, this place is a nightmare for that. Some food was good, some wasn't. I don't remember because it was 6 weeks ago. I loved the seating area, we were in a booth. I don't recommend, would never go here ever again. It has so much potential but the poor service, untrained staff and little respect for their customers was the worst restaurant experience I've had in a really long time. They ruined my graduation dinner. Clearly the people who work there are Befikr and keep their diners in Fikrmand mode.

We tried happy hour - vegetarian momos, tikka chat as our appetizers both were average. Tikki chat was good considering other options in GTA but tikki was more like a cutlet, the portion however was huge. The presentation of the food was very good. For our drink hubby had a beer and I had mingotini mock-tail i loved my drink and the quality was exceptionally good. 5/5 there! For our mains he opted for Karahi chicken, it was spicy but fine and would rate 3/5. I opted for veg biryani which was a fancy pulaav not a biryani but it tasted good so 3/5. Again quantity was pretty huge so 5/5 there. What I loved about the restaurant was there vibes, and good service. In my experience it is generally bad service in Indian restaurants where you are served by students server with no training. This wasn't the case here. The servers and manager both were very hospitable and were keep a good check on you and your needs. So you can consider this place for a group party.
