I enjoyed looking at the prints and notecards from local artists. Also, on a cold and rainy day it was nice to peruse lots of warm and cozy jackets and zip-ups from LL Bean. Downstairs was more souvenir-y like t-shirts, magnets, signs, candy, etc.

Finally, I found delicate, handmade silver earrings shaped like blueberry leaves in My Darling Maine. Perfect! I wore them to work my first day back - and lost one. I was heartbroken. But I contacted Victoria to buy a replacement, and she took the time to send me individual pictures of every pair of blueberry leaf earrings she had in the shop (because they're all unique!) so I could choose. And then she mailed them to me in Virginia. Now my beautiful blueberry leaf earrings are a sweet reminder of our family vacation in Maine AND of the power kindness can have over loss.
