Blankets and pillows comfortable and the staff went over and above with true hospitality! The real gem here is the restaurant/lounge! Chef Mike is amazing, his food was to die for, and I cannot believe how reasonably priced everything was! We had cocktails and dinner after a long drive and his food is the chef's kiss! I had the fried chicken special and my husband the burger dip. The special could have fed us both easily!! Both were amazing quality and taste, not to mention we could have both shared the special and still had leftovers!

"Services" are limited, however, the hotel does have a suite + 4 other sleeping rooms that are all uniquely decorated in a very Old West-meets-true-Victorian style. The building itself is quite stunning, with hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and exposed brick. It's old, though, so be prepared to hear a lot of traffic noise, particularly if you're sleeping in one of the rooms on the NW side. The one time I stayed here was with a large group, and we took over the whole place. If you're planning a visit here, that's the approach I would recommend. There are a lot of common areas, and it would be a shame to not take advantage of them. There is a shared kitchen, a large living room and a separate dining area. Bathrooms are also shared (except in the suite), but are HUGE. The guest house is in a prime location in the historic district; close to all of P-town's night life, coffee shops, and services. Kids and pets are disallowed, because of the antiques and the layout. Plus, who wants to explain a bordello to the kiddies? Especially since this one was apparently operational until "more recently than you'd think..." A very cool piece of Oregon's history, though, and certainly prime real estate if you can get the house over the week of the Round-up.

If you visited the hotel prior to the pandemic, please be advised it is a completely new and improved experience. The building and grounds have a unique and storied past, dating back to the mid-1800s when the first permanent structures were built there. The building was once a hospital and trading post, a movie theater and many other things. Then it fell into precipitous disrepair for many years until the last several owners began putting a great deal of money into bringing the resort back to its former glory. The building is a big, sprawling and drafty old place. If you are looking for a painstakingly restored Williamsburg style country inn, this place isn't for you. There are creaky floors, uneven surfaces, and yes... cobwebs here and there. But the wonderful new owners of the property are dedicated to making it shine. Please do visit the The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs. Ask questions, wander from room to room. Explore the grounds. Read Wikipedia about the lodge, and track down some of the cable ghost hunting programs on YouTube that feature the place. Enjoy soaking in the pools. This place might not be for everyone, but I love it!

We were told yes we have one for the night, being Saturday morning you would think no worries check out will be Sunday, well guess not and there is nothing that can be done and you and your 3 kids can be out by 11 that same day, Thanks Hannah. Oh and coincidentally there is no manager on the weekends so not sure how any problems will be addressed if they arise. But hey thanks for paying all that money for not even half a day. Not much I can do with 3 sleeping kids and no one that can do anything since there isn't a manager available. What a great hotel! Also just found out this morning that Hannah lied about the price and it is not what she had said . Tried to talk to the new person at the front desk and got told oh well you can talk to the manager who will be in at 3 pm, really Hannah I thought there was no manager on the weekends?
