Pancake machine, peanut butter, sliced banana, syrup and walnuts.

Clean rooms, refrigerator, microwave, enclosed bathroom (sink inside bathroom). The best part is their breakfast. We had eggs, sausage, yogurt and pancakes. The only thing we were disappointed about, there was no dumbbells in fitness center (some Holiday Inn's have them). Not a deal breaker. Will stay again during the next poker series.

    View from the hotel!

It's about what you'd expect for a Holiday Inn Express in the middle of nowhere: slightly dingy and run-down, but basically fine. At three stories, it's one of the tallest buildings around and you get a nice view of the surrounding area, mostly rolling hills with some farms. The place is pretty much abandoned by 10am, so it's easy to get late checkout if you want to sleep in. The downsides are that it's close enough to the highway that you can hear the highway and that the gym only has cardio equipment (two treadmills and one recumbent bike). Also, the free breakfast kinda sucks. The eggs have some kind of weird cheese whiz stuff in them (neither me nor my girlfriend could take more than one bite) and most of the rest of the food isn't much better. I expect the free breakfast at cheap hotels to be a collection of cheap food (scrambled eggs, hardboiled eggs, cereal, milk, etc.), but this truly went above and beyond the lameness you normally expect from a free breakfast. P.S. request the third floor if you don't have a pet and don't want a room next to a barking dog!

    Someone else's hair again...
    Lusetta L.

Front desk staff was great. Cleanliness was crap. Went to use the hair dryer and found someone else's hair on the back. Went to get in the bed and found someone else's hair in the bed!! We were switched and the next room didn't have a working heater. Won't be back. Staff was great. Too bad whoever owns it hasn't taken care of the maintenance

It's not the Trump Hotel people!!

It's not the TRUMP HOTEL it's the Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn provides what YOU SHOULD EXPECT, not anything more not anything less. In fact, Frank, our concierge, was over the top with professional hospitality. ** Attention General Manager; Mr. Vishal Patel, give Frank a Raise!! Whatever you do, don't lose him to another company. I wish I had someone as sharp as Frank working for me. It never ceases to amaze me when people disparage hotels for not meeting their expectations. Quite frankly, people want more than what they pay for and share unrealistic expectations that don't measure up to reality. This place was nice, clean and priced just right!

The whole downstairs was a scary construction zone, yet they charged us full price. We were very disappointed and will not be back.

There was hair on the tub as well as a plastic wrapper which meant the room had not been cleaned. One of the pillowcases smelled of cologne. My party abandoned the bed with smelly pillow, due to it not being clean. In the morning, they went to get coffee and there was none. They went to the front desk to complain about the room and the coffee. The staff openly admitted the owner would not allow them to purchase coffee. My party asked for a refund for the stay. The staff didn't want to give a refund because "They had been giving too many refunds." the staff openly complained about the Management. They finally gave a refund and my party left with a zero balance. As they were leaving the room, there was a group of cleaning staff waiting to get into the room. Within a hour, the hotel recharged my credit card. When I called I was told that the cleaning staff had gone into the room and found that it was clean and my party was lying about the hair and plastic wrapper. What they didn't know was that pictures were taken by my wife, so I had proof. They sent me the pictures they took after my wife left the room and sure enough, the tub was cleaned by them, then they took photos. To resolve this, the hotel promised that I would be compensated with points equal to the nights stay. I asked several times for the name of the manager who authorized the points. It has been six months since the stay and the hotel has ghosted me. I held off writing the review to see if they would have any integrity. They have none. This hotel does not rise to the quality of a motel six. I use Hilton for a specific reason and this makes me wonder of the Hilton brand is going downhill. It's unfortunate that Hilton has no way to file a complaint. They just tell you to talk to the manager of the property. Yeah, really effective when you can't even find out who that is. Once again, PLEASE do not stay here if you value the Hilton brand.

"Services" are limited, however, the hotel does have a suite + 4 other sleeping rooms that are all uniquely decorated in a very Old West-meets-true-Victorian style. The building itself is quite stunning, with hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and exposed brick. It's old, though, so be prepared to hear a lot of traffic noise, particularly if you're sleeping in one of the rooms on the NW side. The one time I stayed here was with a large group, and we took over the whole place. If you're planning a visit here, that's the approach I would recommend. There are a lot of common areas, and it would be a shame to not take advantage of them. There is a shared kitchen, a large living room and a separate dining area. Bathrooms are also shared (except in the suite), but are HUGE. The guest house is in a prime location in the historic district; close to all of P-town's night life, coffee shops, and services. Kids and pets are disallowed, because of the antiques and the layout. Plus, who wants to explain a bordello to the kiddies? Especially since this one was apparently operational until "more recently than you'd think..." A very cool piece of Oregon's history, though, and certainly prime real estate if you can get the house over the week of the Round-up.
