I went in for a full set of acrylic nails, with no appointment, and did not have to wait very long. However, the woman, who appeared to be managing the place, literally HURT me at least a dozen times with the drill and file. She got too close to my skin on the tips of my fingers with the drill and then ramed my cuticle with the drill too. Instead of using a tool for the cuticles she tried filing and pushing them back with the file. Never once dis she apologies for hurting me, Just said oops one time. First time trying this salon and I am disappointed and will not go back. Not friendly and they make you feel like it's a burden for them to do your nails. $40 for a pedicure and the nail polish was watered down, she barely took off my old nail polish, didnt clean under the toe nails like they normally are suppose to, cut my toe nails all the way down without even asking me and I have multiple spots on my nails where theyre missing polish. I had a manicure and pedicure with I believe the female manager. She did not wear gloves and tried to use "dirty" clippers on my toes that she pulled out of a drawer. She did someone's eyebrows or some service in between and I watched her not wash her hands. The towel at her station had used finger nail clippings and I had to ask her to change it. Her station was filthy especially for Covid sanitation. I would never write a bad review but I was so disappointed and in addition it's one of the worst no chip manicures I've ever had. This place used to be a great place to go to HOWEVER, every time I go in there the pedicures are becoming shorter and shorter and the polish job is not that well done. The tech's act like they do not want to be there at all and it is such an inconvenience to them that you decided to get a manicure as well. They do change the prices whenever they want. If I could give them zero stars I would. I've gone here probably half a dozen times and have never been happy with their service. My nails are always cut shorter than I ask, they leave large strips of nail completely unpolished and usually I leave with chips already in the paint. They are completely inconsistent with the level of their service. Sometimes I receive treatments and other times I don't even though I have ordered the same service. I understand that sundays are typically busier for salons, with that being said I expected to wait especially without an appointment. I've been here pedicures previously and decided to give my nails a try. I asked the wait time she looked around and said 20 minutes. I signed in, ok with the wait. But I sat there nearly double that before I just walked out. Just give realistic waiting times. I wouldn't have wasted that much time not to even be serviced. I went here with a friend on November 2nd and I got a dip manicure. I've been getting dips for about a year now, and this is my first time going here. Every time I've gone and gotten my nails done, they have lasted over a month and still look brand new. After I got my nails done here, they're already chipping and breaking. I do not suggest getting a dip manicure here. If I lived closer, I would go back and have them redo them or ask for my money back. For $55, I expected them to last longer than 10 days. read more

A beautiful salon, peaceful, soothing environment. The service is exceptional. I got the "classic" manicure/pedicure. The manicurist was very friendly and talkative. I was very happy, until after I got home and my polish had started chipping off at the ends, on my fingers. I had to attend an event the next day! It wasn't like I was doing anything radical with my hands, either. I just washed my hair, and prepared dinner. This was on Friday, now it's Monday and the polish has chipped all the way to the middle of my nails. We had an appointment at 12:30. No one even acknowledged us or said a word to us after we signed in. At 12:50 I finally asked about how much longer it would be and let them know we had an appointment. They told me a few minutes. My pedicure didn't start until 1:45. An hour and 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. There was no organization and the owner was very dismissive. I finally get to my manicure and at this point it was just myself and my 2 friends left in the salon while they waited for me to finish. Bar nails has 12 manicure tables and another girl and her friend came in and they proceeded to sit all 7 of us (including the 2 nail techs) in the smallest corner. We asked to be spaced out due to the covid precautions and they told me no at first until I got more frustrated with an already awful experience and they finally sat me at a different table. Overall it was the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. We will never be there again. We aren't the first who have had terrible experiences there lately either. read more

I have been to this salon several times, I am very disappointed because most of the staff is not friendly. The manager Khonny is very rude and unprofessional and has charged me different prices for the same service, higher prices. He did a nail repair for me once and was very annoyed because my nails are long and did a very poor job and charged me 8.00 to repair the one nail. When confronted he was rude an unapologetic and he told me that my nails were too long. I was asked by one of the other staff members to return the following week when Tommy returned from vacation, who does a wonderful job on longer nails. They make you feel like it is a burden to do longer nails, which I don't understand, a nail salon should be able to service clients with longer nails. The only reason I continue to go there is because Tommy does an excellent job on my nails and he is very kind and professional, he is the only nail tech that I go to in that salon, if he ever leaves I will find another salon to go to. Going to the nail salon should be a relaxing experience, however for me it is not, I don't get any other services done there for the aforementioned reasons. read more

I have had good experiences and not so good experiences here. Today's wasn't the best because my polish doesn't even cover the entire toenail. Very inconsistent. Half of the staff knows what they're doing and the other half doesn't care to. I've gone in for no chip manicures several times and every other time is great. I went there for a manicure and pedicure before my wedding only becuase I was pressed for time and was not able to travel to my regular place, some twenty miles away from my home. The pedicure was okay but they did a horrible job on my fullset. They kept pushing a "no chip," irrespective of how many times I declined. The full set was flat, no arch or apex of the nail to speak of. The coffin shape I requested was poorly executed, with many of the nails uneven. Just horrible. Within days, the acrylic began to lift around the base of the nail. Upon close inpection of the nails, many had dips or dents in the acrylic, which I had to buff out when I went over them a week later to fix the lifts. Further, and most annoying, was the sloppy polishing. My color was a very light shimmery white, for the wedding; thus, it was forgiving, but the job was less than professional for the price. I also feel that the pedicure was over priced but at least my feel looked good and felt nice. I would never go back to this place for a manicure, let alone a full set or a fill. I tend to do my own nails but wanted to be pampered for my special day. I should have gone to my regular place. As far as coming back for the pedicure, I will go to my regular spot, as I feel I get more for my money at my regular spot.
