I had a very bad experience here. I've been contemplating if I should leave a review or not. I decided to because I'm really really unhappy with my hair. To start out I asked for a 2-3 inch trim from off the length with layers that started and my cheek bone. Mind you my hair was down past the middle of my back. She CUT 6-8 inches with just a few layers at the very bottom. Secondly my hair was red. I wanted a change to a light brown with caramel colored high lights. She gave me BLACK hair with BLEACH BLONDE CHUNKS. needless to say I was in the chair for 7 hours. I left with an awful cut and color not even close to the PICTURES I brought, a sore scalp and a migraine with nausea. I dont understand how someone could get it SO WRONG when I brought pictures. I have always been satisfied with my service at Sheers. I am a client of Leah's and she is very good at what she does. I have had my hair colored and cut with her for several years. She is very friendly and knowledgable. I like that even when I do not go in there for a while she remembers who I am and how I like my hair cut, styled or colored. The other stylists seem very friendly as well. I am always greeted by someone at the front desk, the feel of the salon is very welcoming. They offer a wide variety of products for sale. The prices on the services are in line and most of the times cheaper than the cost of the chain salons that say they are cheaper. The quality of their services are much better at Sheers than at other places. The last time I was there they were having a bake sale to help a local charity. No matter what salons open nearby this will always be my place to go. read more
