Went to LZ for a pedicure based on a friend's recommendation and the lady doing my service seemed to be digging deep into my nail but I figured she knew what she's doing. Not even 24hrs later I can't put any pressure on it and clearly have an infection. UPDATE: Had to see a podiatrist for infection and have a procedure done along with antibiotics. read more

LZ Nails is the best! I had been getting my nails done in Chicago while living there for a while, and now that I've moved back to Manhattan I could not be more impressed with the work here. It's been so much better than any salon I went to in Chi. The staff is kind, professional, and makes sure they're taking their time to get the shape you want and the right amount of polish. My nails look amazing! I got a fill from last time and both time they've gone above and beyond. Not only are they great at doing nails their cleanliness is impeccable. They have you wear a mask the whole time along with staff, wash your hands upon arrival, take your temperature, and fill out a form showing you have not been sick or travelled recently. Prices are reasonable and most of the time I've had no issues with the technicians except when the newly trained ones. Those techs end up needing the others to tell them how or take over the fill-in. I have been too many nail salons in the area. For some time now , I have been unhappy with the quality of work and the quality of the product. Yesterday I went to LZ Nails for the first time!! I was VERY pleased how the nail techs took their time. The massage was AMAZING for my pedicure and my toes look BEAUTIFUL. My manicure was also AMAZING she really took the time to remove my old nails. My manicure and no chip Look absolutely BEAUTIFUL also . I would highly recommend LZ NAILs . PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT go here!!!! I walked in to get my full set of acrylic nails removed and a dip manicure. The man doing my nails used another acrylic nail to wedge underneath and pry off my nails. No soaking or anything. My thumb nail started gushing blood and it separated my actual nail from the nail bed. Instead of helping me he squirted a green chemical in it. I had to go to another salon to get the whole side of my nail cut off. WILL NOT. be returning i walked out because i was so upset. read more

This was my very first time coming here. its close to my moms and was convenient so I wanted to try it out. bad mistake..its been less than a week and all my nails are broken, chipped, or falling off. I get the dipping powder and normally this last me all month. I can't get away with a week from this place. my daughter I and my mother were there for way over an hour because he kept messing up my nail then there was a piece of hair in my powder but I had to go because we were there for so long. They did a horrible job on my daughters tips. they were so far from the cuticle and they were shaped horrible. She is only 14 and went there with a friend and that's how they took advantage of them giving them a crappy set of nails.
