The team from Barabba have been slowly expanding across the city. Once a lock on the restaurant industry late night Italian eating, they opened a Korean joint a few years later. Now they have a partnership with a furniture design company to open a wine bar that servers modern takes on Indian food. it's super crazy and super awesome at the same time. It's a small glass box of a place with a few outside seats. But 4 of took the full wall on one side until we got moved to the communal table in the middle. We had a few bottles of wine, the plaice, an Indian spiced Australian meat pie (one of the principles is Indian Australian), a tomato "tartare" dish and some sort of fried meatballs dish which I forget the description. All super tasty and matched well with the wine program. The head of Barabba was a sommelier at the old 108 so they know their stuff.
