Ambiance was literally perfect. Food was okay but service was really missed by our specific waitress. A few people in our party weren't ready to order yet and normally whoever is taking the order would just circle back to that person but she just walked off after taking everyone who is ready. Ordered a diet coke and she repeated back to me diet coke no problem... proceeds to come back with a diet pepsi. She was just cold and rude in general. She might just been having a bad day but.... Came in for brunch. It was Father's Day so expected it to be busy. We're sat in the back at the high tables. We were hoping for something closer to the water, but when we arrived they were all full. We noted within 10 minutes a number of tables by the water cleared. We requested a table by the water, but we're informed they were all reserved. We watched for a good 30 minutes and the tables were never taken. Further my spouse found a steel tube in her drink which apparently came from an alcohol bottle. The waiter apologized. $20 gift card as compensation of what could have been a disaster had she swallowed it. read more

My favourite restaurant of all time! Their menu changes so there is always something new to try. I had the pan fried pickerel and it was unbelievably delicious - tender, flakey, melt in your mouth subtle flavours. We shared two different types of mussels, one buttery and creamy, the other tomato and garlic. Amazing! I also had the best Caesar (drink) ever and tried multilevel wines (their wine cellar is to die for!) Did I mention the oysters?! Oh yeah, they had been flown in that morning! This spot has a special place in my heart. Today's service was no exception, Terry was fantastic. His recommendations and charm made ordering lunch a breeze. Coffee was fresh and always refilled. Bar Willow is the new Willow on Wascana. The Wine Club is fantastic. The wine menu has some great selections by the glass from smaller vineyards. The food now emphasizes small sharing plates the local ingredients. The management is the same great people as Willow on Wascana! read more
