My coworker and I enjoyed this as our last meal before heading home to the states! Service was phenomenal and the environment was special! My steak was tasty!

What a treat while visiting Regina for work. This is one of those places that are true institutions. Right when you walk in there are celeb pictures on the wall. Its like taking a trip back in time. Staff are extraordinary and very attentive. Table side ceasar salad is a must. I had a NY strip that was mouth watering. Super wine list and great deserts. Can't wait to go back. Just for the Ceasar Salad alone.

Love The Diplomat Steakhouse in Regina. This is my second visit. Had lunch here a day after the 2022 Grey Cup game. Steak sandwich was prepared to perfection. Looking forward to returning on my next visit to Regina. Thanks The Diplomat!

This is a first class 5 star steak house. I had the 14 ounce dry rubbed rib eye. It tasted absolutely delicious. I like my steak rare, and it was cooked perfectly. It was obvious from the taste that this was a fantastic piece of beef. The service was impeccable. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The bottom line is this is a first rate steak house. I eat here while in Regina, and recommend that anyone who comes to Regina should definitely make it a point to eat here at least once.

Elegant and very nice steakhouse in downtown Regina. There are tons of autographed pictures of famous folks that have been there. The food and service were good. I had a strip steak and it was cooked just right. I was with a large party and everyone's order came out right and together. There's booth seating and table seating. Definitely worth a return trip.

Watered down old fashioned was served. Sacrilege.

They deserve about a 3.25 stars. The good: ambiance def. Attentive service. The appetizers with ribs and cheese delicious. A filet mignon cooked a perfect medium rare. I ordered an old fashioned which was served with a million small and crushed ice cubes watering down the drink. That's sacrilege. Albiet when asked I did get another one with a large ice cube. This isn't the place I should've needed to ask something so basic. The main reason for the star removal was my food I'd ordered. An 8 oz Kobe Wagyu Steak. $75/ piece ordered medium rare. Incredibly overdone for the first inch all around. Close to well done. There was no real taste of the Wagyu. The marbeling was lost. It was truly sad. The server took too long to come by at that time for me to ask for a replacement. Ate what I did. I did inform the server and showed him the steak ( brown on the inside). To his credit he did ask to replace. I didn't have time at that point and just decided against it. My wife's $25 steak tasted better. That's just wrong. There was no comprensation with the Wagyu steak about taking it off the bill, complimentary dessert. Nothing. I was expecting much more from Diplomat.

Fantastic "Night in Napa" wine event to celebrate The Diplomat's 38th birthday! Rich and Leslie Frank (Frank Family Vineyards) and Vivien Gay (Silver Oak) attended to introduce and describe their wines! The Diplomat team poured 16 wines and served 6 courses (and appetizers)! The food and wine was brilliant. The Diplomat also had lots of door prizes and gift bags! They also had a lot of special wine available for sale at deep discounts. It was an amazing evening of people, wine and food!

We had a wonderful meal at the Diplomat steakhouse, it's one of Regina's finest dining. I order the steak and lobster, my wife the Peppercorn steak my daughter the child's menu steak and our friend the Pickerrell. The meal was cooked to perfection. For dessert we had peaches Flambé . Which fun to watch and very enjoyable to eat . It's hard to believe we spent three hours enjoying a wonderful meal. Thank you.

19oz ribeye steak for $44.95. This is at most 13oz.

It started with 3 menus for 9 people which took 20 minutes to get, ordered mostly water but did order 2 beers and an iced tea, they missed one of the beers. The can of beer was sticky and sweet I quickly poured it into a glass and then washed my hands. Food ordering was comical we learned that they didn't have chicken fingers, burgers, chicken wings, yam fries and brisket. What else did they not have??? Those that ordered lettuce wraps with side salad, did not get a dressing for side salad but most importantly they did not get actual lettuce to build a wrap the chicken and noodles was a pile that we eventually ate with a fork. Let's talk about the food delivery every plate came out with a steak knife, we ordered seafood linguine, lettuce wraps, chicken sandwich, nachos and fish and chips. We had to ask for forks for EVERY plate. To sum poor service in fact the server had very body odour, lacking basic food how does a pub not have burgers and wings among other, no idea what a plate needs to be eaten why steak knife with everything but no forks . This was the first time I did not tip, my only tip is don't eat here, and the tip for restaurant friends figure out your menu, train your staff to understand the menu, customer service and efficiency when you realized that we wanted forks bring out cutlery for the table.

Service: often slow and sometimes servers seem nervous but attentive enough. A dedicated host would help when people wait at the door for longer then usual for a table, but understandably difficult to suggest when not busy Decor: reminiscent of a Moxie's. The floor is a bad choice, it shows dirt immediately. The sun often shines brightly through the windows into the path of half the tables Drinks: beer choices better then most places, pop was average Food: Cajun quesadilla was good, fries were slightly under cooked but seasoned well. Great price. Tacos were excellent. Steak sandwich was good but the bread overwhelmed the meat, open face would be better Man pizza was very good, especially with the Parmesan offered by server

For food, my boyfriend ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Burger ($21) with French onion soup ($7.5). I ordered the Bacon Mushroom Swiss Burger ($22) with Truffle Fries ($3), a white sangria ($10.5) and crème brûlée ($8) with strawberry compote for dessert. Prices are before tax and tip. The BBQ Pulled Pork Burger and french onion soup were alright. The sangria was absolutely delicious! I highly suggest it. I absolutely loved the mix of peach, pear and orange juice. The crème brûlée was extremely delicious. Best in Regina. Seriously ! And the Keg charges the same price for a THIRD of what Lancaster is offering. I also think their recipe at Lancaster is better. The truffle fries were decent. They were cold unfortunately but I was with a rather large group so I'm not going to fault them for it entirely. I actually think they would have been awesome if they were cooked a little warmer, a little crispier and didn't come with the sauce. I prefer a garlic, truffle and Parmesan flavour for the type of fries. The burger itself was actually pretty good. If it had been warmer, I think the patty itself would have been moister. That being say, it tasted fresh. Honestly I was wondering if it was mixed with bison because of the flavour. I throughly enjoy a gamey flavour and this burger had hints of it. Honestly, this burger is very close to being the best burger in Regina that I've ever had. I want to return and get a genuine sit down dinner experience with no more than 4 people. This place has the potential to produce the best burger in the city!

The staff did a great job considering two large groups walked in at the same time on a Saturday afternoon when it's supposed to be slow. They called someone in early and tried to catch up. Delicious!

Everything from…read morethe food and cocktails to the service to the general decor and vibe of this place were superb. My wife was celebrating her birthday so we indulged in a chef curated four course meal with wine and cocktail pairings and everything was an absolute hit. For our meal, the courses were structured with a few appetizers for the first course, a pasta dish for the second, a fish entree (I requested no red meats) and then a dessert to top it all off. Our appetizers included the house whipped ricotta, the heirloom tomato and compressed melon salad and the seared albacore tuna. I have to say, I've never had melon as good as the melon in the tomato and melon salad. The depth of flavor they achieved with by compressing it with oils and herbs was remarkable, I would come back for that alone and I normally don't like melon. The seared tuna was exceptional, as was the whipped ricotta. All of this was paired with a light sparkling citrus cocktail, which I unfortunately cannot remember what it had in it, but it was my personal favorite of the night. For the pasta course, we had an agnolotti pasta that was filled with what I believe was a delicious ricotta filling and a light tomato sauce, paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was fresh and herbaceous and it was the right amount to leave you satisfied, but not feeling too full. The cab sauv wasn't over oaked, like most California cabs, but still had that traditional peppery cab sauv taste that paired so well with the pasta sauce. Our main entree was the la ronge walleye paired with a Sauvignon Blanc. The walleye and potatoes were delicious, however I did feel like the fish was overpowered by the spring pea velouté, which was unfortunate but personally, I'm not a massive fan of peas. However, if you like them, this is a great option and the quality of the walleye was top notch. The dessert course was a pistachio & coffee semifreddo with boozy cherries and the cocktail I would describe as sort of a play on an espresso martini, but way better. Both were fantastic! I was really able to detect the pistachio, which I assumed would be masked by the coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised. On top of that, we were also generously given an order of the madeleines for my wife's birthday and we absolutely adored them. They had a light citrus note to them that really enhanced the flavor. Our server was also excellent and very kind. We told him we were from the US and it was our first time in Regina and he gave us a bunch of recommendations for things to check out around the area. The four course meal and cocktails were a wonderful value for the price, I would highly recommend it and I'm excited to come here again!

She was always on top of filling our waters and making sure we have everything we needed. The food was so delicious we tried lots of appetizers and weren't disappointed with any that we had. The deep fried cheese curds were amazing, the Ruben eggrolls were outstanding, and the coconut shrimp really stood out as well! Their signature sandwich with Montreal steak meat was a little disappointing, until I dipped it into the mustard it came with! Well that was a game changer so delicious!
