Something absolute can't be compared to others. It's the gold standard and should be treated as…read moresuch. I'd go almost so far as to say that about Absolute Entertainment. The DJ portion of their entertaining came pretty close to absolute level for my wife and I on our recent wedding day. Things started way before the wedding with the fact that Absolute was a preferred vendor to our venue and so we gave them a shot to start the DJ searching process. Well after meeting with Matty, we were sold. I don't know if it was his energy, friendliness, truthfulness, or the fact that he reminded us of Ryan Reynolds, but something clicked and we signed on the dotted line that day. This contract included their new mirror photo booth along with a custom rustic DJ booth that was specific for our venue (how cool is that!?). Now I mention the photo booth because that'll come back into play in a bit, but first let's jump into the lead up before the wedding and the big day itself. Absolute did a great job in contacting us prior to the wedding and making sure they had all of our information correct as well as the music choices we wanted. We also got a call from Matty (who happened to be our MC for the wedding) and he ran through all of our info again. They definitely did a thorough job of preparing. On the day of the wedding, the entire ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was awesome with Matty and Cliff (the DJ). The music choices that we wanted were played throughout the wedding and all of our must-plays were heard. Yeah maybe here and there we had a song pop up we didn't love, but nobody's perfect. Well, Matty's ability to get people on the dance floor and pump everyone up was pretty close to perfect. He was definitely a highlight of our vendors and something we'll positively remember. Now I haven't mentioned the photo booth because we ended up removing it from our contract. The pictures of their mirror photo booth on Absolute's website didn't match up with the one they were showing on social media posts. Both were nice, but it didn't really fit into our theme/style. A small annoyance in the grand scheme of things, though it also took a little time to hear back from them via email in order to get the photo booth removed. Another minor snafu, but in the entirety of everything, I'd still stick with Absolute and the five stars I threw on this review. Overall, Absolute Entertainment is legit in their ability to bring the party and make your day feel special. Their DJs listen to your music preferences and the MCs are fantastic at making your event that much more enjoyable and fun. Perhaps some side pieces aren't perfect, but in the realm of performance and music, Absolute is pretty darn absolute.

James pumped up the crowd amazingly, Matt felt the crowd and played the best songs, Justin on the drums was throwing drumsticks and doing crazy things with the drums - people still talk about it, and Dave on the sax was also amazing. I would not hesitate to use them - they were referred to me by sister, who used them for bar/bat mitzvahs for her kids as well and loved them. The staff was phenomenal, coffee was literally insane. I couldn't believe how good the coffee was so I went up to a worker and asked what they use. He came back and said, "Folgers." I kid you not. I was so embarrassed but also went to Stop and Shop after I left the shower and bought a big thing of Folgers coffee because it's SO DARN GOOD. It was somewhat of a windy day so we stayed inside most of the time except for photos where we went outside onto the boardwalk and had a beautiful view of the beach. I attribute so much of this fantastic shower to the people who put it together as they brought a donut wall and had a make your own flower bouquet station and so on and so forth but the venue itself and the staff and the clean huge bathrooms were a 10/10. As an update, after this review was posted, Tony called to insist it should be taken down, claiming…read morehe is not racist and does not take blurry photos. He admitted he actually doesn't have photos due to the issues with his equipment, stating, "The camera was glitching and I've never seen that before." He continued shooting without checking the photos throughout the day--unacceptable for a professional vendor. Initially, he offered a full refund for several items, but when we met in person, he reduced the offer to less than half, demanded we sign a disclosure to remain silent, and only offered a book of photos. He stated, "This won't hold up in court of law because you're still getting a product." Following up I made a request and they sent an email back about no longer willing to speak with me, only their attorneys. For brides considering ADA, know this: you may never see your wedding photos, and you will likely only receive minimal compensation. Many couples were "paid" to remain silent, and we later discovered multiple others with disappointing experiences. Tony withheld our video repeatedly; when it was finally sent, it was poorly done and had been uploaded to their website before we even met with him. Without posting this review and requesting a meeting, I have no doubt he thought he would have gotten away with it. During our sit-down, Tony became extremely frustrated and raised his voice, insisting that he was being called a "racist." I never directly called him racist, but his behavior and remarks throughout the day could easily be perceived that way. He made numerous unprofessional and unethical comments that negatively affected me, my mother, and the entire bridal party.. Please, save yourself the heartache and avoid this company. Before knowing I didn't have photos I was unhappy with the service. Tony's behavior, lack of professionalism, and failure to deliver on promises were devastating. I will never ever get this day back. When I first spoke on the phone with Stefan from White Diamond, it was like chatting with a friend. He made us feel so comfortable and we knew we had found our videographer. We met him just before the wedding and he listened in detail to everything we asked of him. He totally got the feel for our wedding and knew exactly what to shoot to make sure our video was everything we dreamed of and more. Stefan's assistant, Giancarlo was incredible. Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing he was. Stefan and Giancarlo were able to get the footage they needed without being intrusive. I honestly don't even remember the cameras being there, but they got SO many shots. Stefan even uses drone technology to ensure he is getting the perfect shot. I've already recommended White Diamond to my cousin and other future brides. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Thank you, Stefan!

Stefan made the entire process seamless for us. He was on top of everything from the start - making sure the details were ironed out from the get go. Not to mention he was incredibly easy to talk to and chill dude. My wife and I received both our short and long videos recently. Were BLOWN away. I mean absolutely blown away how high quality the video was, how he caught all the intimate, important details but also a lot of funny stuff, and just really delivered a high-end product that would otherwise be seen at very high price point.
