I just got married this past weekend at the Pavilion and WOW WOW WOW! It was just UNREAL! The food (Lessings) is out of this world. The service was impeccable. Tarek and Emily are the absolute BEST. Emily responded to every single annoying question I had within MINUTES leading up to the wedding. The whole experience was just a dream come true. And the views ?! How could you beat that. Thank you so much everyone at Pavilion for allowing us to having our dream wedding!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow on 7/6/24 and we cannot say enough incredible things about this venue. From our initial tour of the venue to our wedding day, Tarek was there to address every question and concern and to make sure the planning process was going smoothly. We did the package (which included the DJ, photographer, florist, transportation, and cake) which made planning so much easier and we and were so happy with each and every vendor. On the actual wedding day, Sabrina (our bridal attendant) and Anthony (our maitre d') took care of us completely. Sabrina did everything from serving lunch in the bridal suite, to finding and setting up a speaker for getting ready music, to helping me with my (complicated) bustle, to getting my new-husband and I hors d'oeuvres from the cocktail our in the bridal suite immediately after the ceremony, to making sure we actually ate our dinners during the reception, and so so much more. Anthony made sure the entire event ran smoothly and was there for us with whatever we (and our families) needed. The venue itself was beyond beautiful. We absolutely loved our beachfront ceremony and the floor-to-ceiling windows that gave us incredible views of the Long Island Sound all night. Our guests loved being able to make use of the outdoor boardwalk area throughout the reception. The food from the cocktail hour and the main dinner were both so good (and we got compliments from our guests about how good the food was)! If you are looking for a beautiful and unique wedding venue on Long Island, look no further than the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow!

I attended a summer wedding at the pavilion. It has a beautiful beachfront and boardwalk that was roped off from the rest of Sunken Meadow State Park and the pavilion itself has a tent for dancing and cocktail hour and another for food alongside the building. The service was great as well as the open bar but it's the location that really makes this place with a beautiful sunset on the beach right after diner. The food ranges in quality and is was what you might expect for a wedding but the wedding ceremony on the beach with the reception in the pavilion was terrific. The location and service lean the rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.

They lost the contract with the state and had to find another venue for us inside their organization 6 months after booking.

There is not one bad thing to say about this place!…read more They host the best parties for all holidays and the food is amazing. The last time I came here was on Friday for my dad's best friend's celebration of life dinner. I've had their salmon before and this time I had everything else under the sea. We started off with some bread and butter, then came the salad, followed by roasted potatoes, calamari, grilled octopus, crab cakes, sliced sausage, shrimp in a garlic sauce. Those were all appetizers, then we got to choose our main dish, chicken, seafood paella or a meat paella. I got the meat paella, my dad the seafood paella and my mom the chicken dish. I literally had to take my paella home because there were just so many appetizers I didn't have room for it BUT I did have room for the dessert. We got to choose from almond cake, flan, tartufo or chocolate cake. I got the flan and it was the perfect size. It was sweet and caramel-y. Just what I needed to end this special dinner. The service here is always top tier. Everyone is so attentive and nice. You definitely get your moneys worth when you come here. The seafood is fresh and the atmosphere is always so welcoming! Definitely worth it to come for dinner or for one of their famous events they host. Can't wait until your next party!
