The issue is when he requested assistance from the Manager, Christine. There were a couple of figures that I inquired about their origin. I received "I don't know " replies. Twice Henry requested clarification from Christine...no problem...again a learning experience. My issue is that Christine entered the cubicle and proceeded to unnecessarily lecture me and told Henry "do not ask me any further questions" in front of me...the customer. H&R Block was wrong regarding a charity item entry not in my favor to the tune of $3,500. I finally got it corrected. I received no insight regarding my options to reduce my taxable income going forward. Little to no insight on the origination of several entries within the tax forms. And, Christine definitely set a tone that questions are not welcome in this H&R Block office. My fee was $420! For what? Data entry of figures? I'll seek out more professional tax support going forward.

I made an appointment and was called a day prior by File 4 me now to confirm my appointment. So far…read moreso good. I arrived at my appointment and the place was closed. Not a good first impression for being my first time there. I received a call 15 minutes after my appointment time to be told Kimberly was running late to wait 15-20 minutes. I received a second call saying I would need to reschedule. Not a good feeling. Or if I would like I could leave all my personal tax documentation and slide it under the door. WTH? I left and was called by Kimberly 2 hours later. She did apologize and asked me to give them a second chance. If I did go back I would receive a good discount on my tax preparation. I did go back, why? During our 20 minutes ordeal and in the middle of a conversation between I and Kimberly she decides to answer her cell phone and cut me off after that she decides to step out of her office and talk to another client. Lastly, she charged me $150 for very basic and simple taxes and she never mentioned anything about the discount she had offered 2.5 hours ago. Would not go back or recommend. We have called numerous times ( at least 5) and have NEVER received a return call. The last Ben told us was that it would be done by Christmas, and our phone call today informed us that neither he nor Mr. Spencer would be in the office until January 7th. As this is a filing for an estate, the heirs have had to wait three extra months before their money is distributed. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
