What's even more concerning is that this does not appear to be an isolated incident. Other family members and callers have reported being placed on hold for extended periods (15+ minutes) and then having their calls abruptly disconnected without explanation. If a patient is unavailable or there are communication restrictions, that should be clearly communicated. Repeatedly placing callers on hold and disconnecting calls creates unnecessary stress for families trying to check on their loved ones. For a facility that provides mental health care, a higher level of professionalism, communication, and empathy should be expected. unfortunately, my experience has not reflected that standard.

Recently she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and proactively initiated SSRI treatment due to high risk for postpartum depression. Given SSRIs take 4-6 weeks to reach therapeutic levels, she proactively sought the assistance of her provider to complete paperwork for her caregiver to take leave from work to provide inhome support in an effort to avoid inpatient hospitalization and potential risk to her newborn child. Unfortunately, the Director FORBADE the provider to complete the certification despite his clinical judgment and several years of experience working with patient. Upon appeal by the postpartum patient, the Director failed to listen to the patient's explanation and dismissed her cry for help placing the patient at risk of crisis without support. The patient sought assistance from her obstetrician and pcp who agreed yet deferred to her mental health provider as this was clearly a mental health crisis. The Director, dismissed her request without listening fully and shouted loudly, 'you are postpartum and is an OBGYN issue'. The patient refuted stating the clinical diagnosis was mental health related to post partum depression as indicated by all of her medical providers. The response was calus and dismissive. Very disappointed on the organizations ability to assess risk and act accordingly. I would NOT recommend seeking treatment from the organization for any individual with a serious mental illness seeking life sustaining support as the value of human life is questionable.

I'm generally a pretty easy going person. but this lady who works the desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. don't recommend. when you need some support, you would think you could get it from your psychiatrist. not at this place.

I have been attending treatment here for quite a while. I receive online counseling service. I had…read morenot been in therapy in over 20 years but I felt I needed to re-engage after much soul searching. I was able to go online and choose my therapist. I chose Mr. Berry. Day one and since then as been a phenomenal experience. Mr. Berry is personable, and professional. He is kind and compassionate, and eased me into my experience of online treatment. I was able to discuss my treatment plan and my progress that was reviewed by both of us. I am very happy with my treatment and experience. Mentally, I am in a much better place and I am feeling better each day. I just wanted to let you all know, Mr. Berry is an excellent therapist that is concerned about my mental health. He is always available and willing to listen and offer his expertise.
