Richard delivered on all of these and then some. During the process, he continued to consult with us and kept us informed of his schedule. We greatly appreciated his flexibility in allowing us to complete some of the work ourselves and the tips he provided to us along the way. For the few sub-contractors he used, Richard was always on site and oversaw their work. The pride he takes in his work is very evident. No detail is too small. His design complimented the style of our home and expanded our living space to the outdoors which is something we always longed for. We continue to marvel at how perfectly he balanced the use of steel and rock with the softness of each plant choice and placement. They were responsive and punctual. Michael showed up on time to give an estimate and provided a quote with 3 days. I was stood up and did not receive so much as a phone call from 2 other companies. 2. Prompt and professional customer service. Whenever I sent an email, my questions were promptly answered. 3. Their bid was fair and reasonable. I received in total 3 bids and the one that was like for like as far as material, installation, and time, was significantly incomplete compared to Michael's, so I went with K2. 4. The work was done and completed to my satisfaction, in spite of winter weather challenges, and I appreciate that more than anything. We sought a new fence to keep our pup safe but not detract from the neighborhood beauty. We decided to go with a pressure treated posts hog wire fence. I have a high standard when it comes to completed work. I want it to look good and be aesthetically pleasing top to bottom. That was accomplished with K2. There are no gaps along the bottom of the fence, it's uniform, gates are well constructed, and concrete posts are covered. I appreciate the work they did and more importantly I love my fence.

I have not spoken to my neighbor as to how things went, but I decided to contact PGD and requested a quote back in May. Tom came out, he is the designer. We said great, give us a design that includes a fire pit and helps keep water away from our foundation. He said he would come up with something. He said they have a crew that can start late July. A month went by, I called Tom and left a message that I am heading out of town and would like to get a bid. Tom and the estimator Jack showed up that day without responding to my message, they just showed up. My wife who wanted input was in her home office on a call with a client and could not get off. If we knew they were coming we would have made the arrangements. Either way, we had a pleasant visit and Jack and Tom appeared to have a plan in mind. A few more weeks pass and I call and speak with Tom. He said they have been real busy and Jack will have an estimate to me by the end of the following week. After that following week, I call and leave a message with Tom on his answering service. No response. A week later, I call the office directly and spoke with a very nice young receptionist that I left all my information with for Jack to please return my call. She assured he he would get the message. That was now 10 days ago. I did not give 1 star because I have not had them actually do any work for me. They did not get a 5 because they did not do any work for me. They do deserve a review because I did deal with their customer service through the bid process, and this review comes 3 weeks after they originally told me they can start. If there is a logical explanation as to why this went so poorly, I would love to hear it and I would adjust my review accordingly. But when I do business, or try to do business with a company, I will always give an honest review of how the process went. In this case, the process went nowhere.

I found CL&R to be very knowledgeable, gave me a reasonable quotes and when I needed to add new plans he provided me a quote for the added service and did each job on time! Nick is a hard worker, flexible and very reasonably priced! There is no reason for me to find anyone else! He has the equipment to do the job right and when I wanted something updated he came back and he is always willing to do the work in a timely manner! My highest recommendation to Nick and CL&R! End of April 2025, I hired Landscape Pros to install a back yard for me. The owner Josh came to my…read morehouse and gave me a bid to level the back yard, bring in top soil, install curbing, hydroseed, gravel and a sprinkler system. He quoted me a price which after getting several bids I thought was fair and reasonable. Once the work was completed Josh informed me he needed to raise my bid $150.00 for "extra" work that was done. What the extra was I am not sure. A few weeks into May I started noticing that the sprinkler system was not covering the full yard. Some areas were flooding while other areas were not getting any water at all. I contacted Josh and asked him to come back and adjust the sprinklers. He sent one of his guys over and after discussion he removed one of the sprinkler heads that was causing flooding. He adjusted the other sprinkler heads, but still the yard was not getting coverage. I asked him to come back a second time when I noticed water bubbling out of the ground. They had poured concrete on top of a sprinkler head. By this time the grass was dead and I had to bring in more top soil and reseed. Several of the sprinkler heads were buried so far into the ground that they could not pop up over the curbing. By this time I was getting pretty frustrated when my sprinkler would not shut off. The valve box was full of water, a third time I asked Josh to come out and fix the leaking valve. Which I am told he did, however the leaking didn't stop. On the fourth request to fix the sprinkler problems I was told I was watering too much, and water was "splashing into the valve box" Really??? I am a women but I am not stupid. Four or five times I requested that Josh come and fix the problems and I always received a text "once my guys are free" it is now the end of August. I ended up hiring someone else to correct all the issues that Josh and Landscape Pros have caused. The people I hired to fix the sprinkler said the manifold and valves that were installed by Landscape Pros were old and possibly used. The manifold was cracked and leaking water, which if it was new (installed in May) it shouldn't be that damaged. Landscape Pros have no attention for detail and the work was very sloppy, in addition if a landscape company is going to take full advantage of a single widow you need to ask yourself if you really want to hire them.
