I asked the barber for a fade from a 1 (that's 1/8 an inch). Looks like instead, we shaved the sides and back without changing the guard once. There was no edge-work and the general shape of my hair was very inconsistent and poor. I want to be clear that I did not ask specifically for the barber to edge me up, but this should be expected of a fade. Under different circumstances, I would have told my barber to fix a bad edge job (for instance, above my ears), but I could tell we were uncomfortable with both fading and cutting curly hair, so I cut my losses and paid for the cut. Let the pictures speak for themselves. It would be different if this were a women's salon or a Supercuts or something, but if "barbershop" is in the name you should know how to do a fade. Again, I wish these barbers the best and I really hope they will put forth the effort to learn to do common haircuts consistently. Perhaps this cut was a fluke, but it was bad enough to scare me away for good.

I received my haircut from Larry, who was a great guy. He did a REALLY good job, and was great to talk with. This place gives you the feel of the good-ole barber shops that my grandfather and father had spoke of when I was growing up. It was a wonderful experience, and I will be going there from here on out. NOTE: They only take Cash or Check, so don't come with just a credit card ;)

I have been to several places around town and nothing compares to the hands of Deb. Deb not only provides the latest and hottest styles, but she is professional in all aspects. I enjoy a barber/stylist that can adjust to different situations with every client. I have been going to Deb for over 6 months now and I would not let anyone else cut my hair. Marcie and Doug also do a excellent job with cuts and styles. The best part of the whole experience is at the very end when the barber places a warm towel on your neck for the cheery on top. I will advise due to the high number of CL's you have to book ahead of time using Genbook, don't worry it's not hard at all. If you are not tech savy, no worries, walk-in hours are usually held on Monday. I enjoy the humor with my cut, because its my morning coffee, and that is a must have. Deb is also at cutting different designs to your hair, if you wish. She knows exactly how I like it. Enough talk about the great stylist and get your butt over to see Deb. Tina did highlighting,low lighting, trim, wash, and blow dry and it came out fabulous at a reasonable price. I mean she did a really really excellent job. I already made another appointment with her for two months from now, there is also a nail technician that works there called Kursten who does a great job and her only language is English.
