Gem nails is a great addition to Crawfordville and it couldn't be in a better location next to the new Publix. SERVICE: Friendly. Welcoming. Techs seem experienced and thorough. There is a pedicure menu so there are options for different types of pedicures and add ons. I think the pedicures are thorough and I can say that they spend more time doing my pedicure than a lot of places. I have only had a pedicure here so I cannot speak on the other services but they have an array of color options and they provide waxing services as well. ATMOSPHERE: Bright clean and fresh is how I would describe it. It is definitely more on the upscale side (for Crawfordville) and maybe that it because it is new. There is an iPad at the front desk for you to sign in. LOCATION: Private parking lot shared with Publix and other businesses PROs- Clean, Lots of options. CONs-Not a "con" but I would suggest making an appointment. I believe business is booming because it is new to Crawfordville and there are but so many techs so sometimes are are very busy. read more

I was there today 4/23 I am visiting from N. Y. I get my nails done with UV gel they really didn't do it there, but the owner knew what I was talking about. He showed Vincent and he did a great job , I was very happy with my nails. Thank you read more

I had an appointment and was taken in on time. I got a nail gel balance. The service was excellent and the technician was excellent. She seemed very experienced and was very attentive to doing a good job. My nails turned out exactly like I wanted them to! The price was what I expected. read more

Wow. These guys are great! I took my elderly parents to get mannis and pedis. The staff was gentle, and sensitive to their needs. They wound up leaving with beautiful looking feet and hands. At ages 91 and 93, tasks like trimming. your nails becomes very difficult what with arthritic hands and feet. The technicians here were absolutely fabulous. read more

Outstanding nail salon! I have lived all over the US and Europe. This is by far the best nail salon, ever. The salon is very clean and organized. Every single nail tech is extremely friendly -and accommodating. I have had to bring my special needs child a few times, and every single time Mike and his team have been so sweet and understanding. My nails always look fantastic. I have to do a lot of social media events and people always compliment my nails! My nails haven't chipped properly broke. I can go 4 weeks without a refill with absolutely no problems. I highly recommend Gem Nails! read more

Very clean nail salon. You can tell care is taken with every step. We had the volcano pedicure for $65 and worth every penny. Multiple massages, lotions, soaks,hot stones, hot towels and wax for your feet. All this along with a great regular pedicure. read more

I have been going to Gem since they opened. They are a welcome addition to Crawfordville. I have been to two other nail bars in Crawfordville. I highly recommend an appointment since the shop is very busy. The shop is bright and clean and the staff is friendly. Since I have been going there for a while, I am greeted by name from several of the staff. What I like best is when I am having a pedicure, I like quiet, no chatter from Tech and Helen obliges.I have never been disappointed in the services I have received. I have had regular manicures, which were very thorough, good cleanup on cuticles. Recently I have changed to powder, dip, which looks great with Mike. I also have regular Volcano pedicures with Helen. The massage is terrific and relaxing. They have a complete menu of pedicures and add-ons. Lots of colors available. They book appointments by your phone number and send text messages as a reminder, I love this. Also, I nice surprise, they have a rewards program, so I got a discount on my service. I stopped in to ask advise on how to best go about fixing a few broken nails to have a nice new manicure. But when I walked through the door I was barely even recognized and when someone did finally notice me. I showed him my nails and asked the best way to get them fixed. He looked at me like I was crazy or something, then he waved me over to another technician that was busy with another customer. Needless to say, I was ignored treated badly and I just walked out. When I reached out to them the best they did was apologize. No offer to bring me in and fix the situation. Needless to say they were less than attentive and I will not use them again unless they can figure out a way to make this right. The customer service was non existent. All I wanted was an answer to a question and when I mentioned that I was neglected. Not a good look for a business. My first visit there was terrific, however unless they can fix the situation I won't go back and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I understand being a busy business, but I also believe every person who walk through that door deserves the same attention as everyone who walks in. read more
