We love this spot. And the lovely ladies that work there. I take all three of my kids here now and will never go anywhere else. I don't know how I never knew this place was here as I live two minutes away. This is the beauty of Yelp. I was looking for a spot to get my kids haircut and for anyone who lives in Marin County knows that it's difficult to find anywhere under $60 per kid. so I went to my trustee Yelp app and sure enough found these folks and I've never looked back. Not only do they do a great job it's reasonably priced and the employees are so nice and friendly and Love loves the kids. So many places you go to nowadays are so burdened by kids coming into their salon unless it's a kid only salon. So this was refreshing! There are things for the kids to do there are lollipops there's water there's just a lot of inviting things in there for kids and as a single mom of three young children kindness (especially) maters! My family is full time traveling in an RV and we were all in need of haircuts. We could not have been happier and more appreciative of the service and attention we received at this 5 star location (my daughter said to give them 17 stars). From perfectly cutting my husbands hair and beard trim, to giving my littlest her first haircut, to washing and trimming my other daughters long locks, we were so pleased with all the love and care we received. This place is incredible. I've struggled to find a great spot for a kids haircut close to home and not $75. Not only does this place check all those boxes (kids hair cut was $35) The staff are a 12 out of 10. They are so nice and go out of their way to be patient and kind to the kids. They have a toy box for the kids to play in as well as coloring and just other fun things for kids to look at and be distracted by. (Which is huge if you have multiple kids/siblings that have to sit through each others haircuts). We have finally found our spot so pumped. read more

STAY AWAY. I have never had to leave a 1-star review for a simple haircut. Do not come here if you value your sanity. She cannot cut your hair unless you have a an exact photo, and even when you do show one, she will endlessly argue with you about it, and tell you that you cannot communicate, etc. I asked her to please even my hair so I can immediately book somewhere else and she kicked me out of the shop in a fury saying she isn't charging me. The reason? She has another client coming and left zero time to make any adjustments. Now I have an awful haircut and have to wait until my usual stylist is available. I tried to pay for the haircut but such was her anger that I couldn't even do that. To get rid of you, and make you question your own judgement, she will blame you for your communication, which I've never had a barber do in many years of haircuts. She admitted the previous client "argued" with her the same way. This place has seen better days. The current barber is rude, unprofessional, in a hurry, and takes an extraordinary accusatory tone. I do feel bad she is obviously stressed to the max and not able to take even minor feedback. What really sets this place apart however is instead of trying to make it right, she would rather burn the relationship to the ground. If there is any misunderstanding at all it's all the client's fault. Heaven forbid you point out how unprofessional that is because she will show you the door. I can only imagine how she will respond to this review but at this point the only acceptable thing to do is apologize. read more

I left the seat after second rude phrase: " How do you want your haircut, do you understand?". But first phrase was super mega rude: " My boss said you cannot use the restroom". If you guys don't want to let customers to use restroom, don't allow them from the beginning or put some sign. Customer service insane... To boss: being wise and polite it will help to grow business. Yesterday I called and had Amy cut my hair and truthfully this may have been one of the best haircuts I've had in many years. I made a same day appointment. I said I would take any one of the 3 barbers.I got Amy. I have lots of hair, and she used a razor, scissors, and a thinner. She did a good job according to my wife. I am used to making appointments with Marin salons, and paying anywhere from $55 to $75 for a cut without a shampoo. Waiting a week to get a cut seems absurd to me. This is not brain surgery. I paid $35 here and a shampoo was included. And for me the same day appointment was paramount. read more

Gai is a great barber. I called in on Saturday afternoon and scheduled an appointment 20 minutes later. The space is a classic barber shop with the exceptions of washing hair before cutting and not using a straight razor on the back of the neck. This was the best haircut i have gotten in a long time. I apologize In advance but this barbershop is nice but the barber who cut my hair Katrina didn't do a simple fade with clean up on the sides and sideburns. (I believe this is her name start with a K) I came here due to my barber being closed for the holiday. I called in and set an appointment thankful for that part customer service was great but the cut was very disappointing. The blend from fade to top of my hair was bad. One simple request was for her to clean my side burns and clean up the edges another request was to line me up. Half way through the cut she stops and ask to keep the top of my hair untouched I'm glad she did offer that but she proceeds to cut my side and with liners shaves my whole edge off and the other sides tried to clean up but looks less worse than the right side of my head. I'm sorry to say this but if I am told you have 20+ years of experience I trust that my cut would be at least decent. Lesson learned don't cheat on your original barber. Price was fair in competitive Marin area I even tipped and went on my way but I will not get my cut again here sorry again. Wrote a long winded review and managed to delete it somehow. Moral of story: terrible hair cut that showed either a lack of skill (being able fade) or just not caring. Was not even slightly blended and left lines on my head. Patches also shaved bald behind my ears. Untrained fiancee had to fix it and did much better job. Won't be going back and would advise people to scrutinise hair before leaving. read more

Just made another appointment at Barbers 3 in Corte Madera. They've been my go to shop for a haircut since 1997 when I went there for a haircut for my wedding day. It was a great cut then and it's been that good ever since. The atmosphere at Barbers 3 reminds me of the barbershop my dad took me to as a kid, the staff are super friendly, it's usually easy to get a same or next appointment and the prices are fair. Most importantly, I've been consistently pleased with the haircuts I've gotten there, especially from Dave Buckley, an experienced barber who still uses mostly scissors to cut my hair the "just electric clipper cuts" I was stuck with the few times I strayed when in a hurry. The combination of a good quality haircut at a fair price in a friendly atmosphere reminiscent of the barbershops of my youth is a "no brainer" for this guy. I know a good deal when I've got one. I got my hair cut by Katrina and never leave reviews. But I felt like I should after reading the bad review I read from some guy that apparently does not like himself. He couldn't have been more wrong and if I had listen to his review I might not have sat in my new barbers chair. Yes the hair cut was that good. I'm not easy to please. My hair is thinning and I'm picky about how it's cut. But Katrina listens to you and cuts it like you ask her. Over all great hair cut and good conversation. The people are very nice and I always feel welcome. I would suggest making an appointment as they can be busy there and it is not a big place.
