Barb's is everything you look for in a diner. It's local, small, and the food is straightforward. You have to get the mess platter, with everything mixed together. That's what the locals say! I got the Stateline platter - eggs, toast, bacon or sausage and home fries. It's about $5. Somehow everyone knows everyone at this diner, and if you don't know them yet, you will by the end of the meal. You should definitely go for breakfast or if you're just passing through town - it's worth it!

This is what a greasy spoon diner is supposed to be. Friendly staff, good food, constant coffee refills and it looks like a strong wind could blow the place down. While the food is good, it's nothing to write home about. What made my experience so enjoyable was the people. These places tend to have a base of regular customers that they cater to, often at other/new customers expense. Not this place. Even those regulars give you a "good morning" and seemed genuinely happy to see you. The staff and customers make you feel good that you started your day here, and that's enough to make me come back.

Great service I can't complain about it. Good needs more seasoning but other than that I like will return for another round.

Best breakfast food in the area, I get really Stateline mess with a side of French burger sauce on it and it always delivers.

However, Chris Paul the store owner stated that our card was declined and completely refused to give us the food we paid for. Even after I showed clear, live proof from my banking app that the money had been taken, he still denied us our order and kept our money. He could have ran a basic terminal transaction log audit to verify my payment. This left my family with no food and no remaining funds to eat elsewhere. This is completely unacceptable behavior by an owner operating under the TUDORS brand. We made a review on their Facebook page and the owner reported our Facebooks as fake to get our review taken down. I have my bank statement and I will provide it.

Tudor's Biscuit World -- West Virginia Breakfast Royalty…read more When you're in West Virginia, you have to go local--and the Yelp Elite in me refuses to miss out on a true hometown classic. Enter: Tudor's Biscuit World, a legendary stop for anyone who believes breakfast should be big, bold, and buttery. This place sits at the bottom of the hill, unassuming but packed with locals who know what's up. The menu? Massive. The biscuits? Even bigger. My wife went straight for The Duke, a hearty biscuit sandwich stacked with flavor. I took the traditional route with biscuits and gravy, because if you want to judge a place, judge the gravy. And let me tell you--fresh, hot, peppery, and poured generously over a pair of fluffy biscuits. It even came with a side of eggs, which was a perfect touch. Portions are big, prices are fair, and everything comes out fast. Exactly what you want from a morning breakfast spot before a day of mountain drives or small-town exploring. This is the kind of place I return to every trip. Comforting, consistent, and downright delicious. Tudor's brings the "Biscuit World" name to life--so let's biscuit up and start the morning like royalty. 5 stars. Long live the biscuit.
