We went there for my husband's birthday dinner. The place is really pretty inside. We loved our sever. Her name is Brianna and she was very attentive to us. We went for the Mother's day buffet. The lines were so so so long. It took a half hour for us to get to the buffet. The line was all the way back to our table in another room. They didn't seem like they knew what they were doing with this event. The food wasn't that good. The crab legs were gone every time I went up to get some. I finally got some and they were so overcooked. They also gave you nothing to open the crab with. They offered desserts but only had terrible chemical-tasting muffins. We chose Bistro 303 for a special evening because it's known as a fine dining restaurant. After we were seated and settled in, we were finally told they couldn't serve any alcohol due to an issue with their liquor license. This should have been communicated before seating guests. Many people choose an upscale restaurant expecting to enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail with dinner, especially when paying premium prices. Had we known in advance, we would have decided whether to dine there or choose another restaurant. While the food and service may have been good, the lack of transparency put a damper on the entire experience. It wasn't the fact that alcohol wasn't available--it was that we weren't informed until after we were already seated. For a restaurant that prides itself on providing a quality dining experience, better communication is essential. I hope Bistro 303 addresses this by informing guests when they make reservations or immediately upon arrival. It would make for a much more honest and respectful customer experience. read more

I can't say enough about this place. I've gone twice now and both times the food was fantastic. The service was very kind and attentative. The general vibe is upscale casual. Great selection of food to choose from. Absolutely loved the theme night luau that was happening on the patio including live music. Our server was knowledgeable and very accommodating to my GF needs. Cocktails were on point! Everything that we ordered was delicious from the poke bowl special to the surf & turf. We will definitely go back to try something else on the menu. This was my first visit and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is very open and offers lots of seating and would be wonderful for small and larger gatherings as well. Our server, Jade, was very knowledgeable and attentive. Everything I had was absolutely amazing. I plan to come back and order the blackened ahi tuna appetizer (again) and try some of their other appetizers as well. The crab cakes were probably some of the best, if not the best, crab cakes I have ever had! I can't say enough how delicious everything tasted. When we arrived our first time we went to the wrong door. We were at the kitchen door instead of the front door. They were very polite and allowed us to go in through the kitchen. Then the food we awesome. I had Hawaiian Chicken and it was delicious! Vance had Burgundy pot roast and he loved it. Joyce (my sister) had Shrimp and Lobster Fettuccini and she loved it. We had a fantastic experience here. We had a mixed party of kids and adults. They were accommodating to all. The bar drinks were very well made, each catered to our liking. The meals were prepared beautifully and carefully. Everything was delicious. The bruschetta was the favorite appetizer. The shrimp were huge! And the egg rolls were very good as well. The surf and turf was wonderfully displayed and delicious. The crab cake stole the show! The sea bass was great as well as the smoked filets. The salmon also got a raving review. The chef came to check on our party and told us about some of the items we had eaten. So friendly and passionate about his menu. Great addition to the Valley! I hope they keep it up! My wife and I finally had the opportunity to check out this local spot. It definitely gave off the "fine dining" vibes so when I found out about the Valentine's Day special I figured it was time to check it out! It was very busy upon arrival as expected on Valentines Day and took a few minutes to be seated which is to be expected. We were shown to our table and ordered the V-Day special along with some wine and took in the restaurant. It is beautifully decorated and a nice atmosphere for an evening out. Our waitress was very professional and didn't miss a beat. We were extremely satisfied with the service. Our food came and here's the honest review. Bread was great. Dipping oil was seasoned well and was delicious. The lobster bisque was the highlight of our night and was to die for! The lobster tail was perfectly cooked and with the melted butter it was delicious. The baked potato was good but not really anything to talk about. It was a little underwhelming. Our side of Alfredo Pasta was also really good. The steak. Seasoned perfectly. Cooked perfectly. It was tough. It was a New York strip and I understand that for the price point it was "worth it". I would have happily paid extra for a fillet. Just kinda needed a fillet. It's a special night out. I'm fine with a strip if it's tender. It just wasn't. Dessert was delicious and we had an overall great evening. Spent some time at the bar afterwards and enjoyed an Old Fashioned with some Rye whisky and capped off a great evening. When the owner ignores a customer's complaint, especially for charging 72 dollars for 3 waters, It's time to find another restaurant

3:23 l ordered takeout around 5pm September 17th. only 3 people at the bar & 2 people in a booth. Very nicely designed & decorated. Priced are a little high so you do expect the food to be exceptional. We had the queso epinard dip with naan bread Which was a decent size & very tasty. I had the loaded potato soup that was good but for $8 l expected a larger portion. One person had the lump crab sandwich with fries that was $20. The sandwich was very large & the crab was delicious. The fries were limp & needed to be cooked longer but the portion was large. The last person had the Roasted turkey & bacon melt with fries. It was a good size & again the fries were limp. Not good. New restaurant that took over a failed business. I was really looking forward to this new place. I'm a travel nurse and I'm in Weirton for at least 1 more year. Food is ok, not bad, not great. It's a very limited menu with seafood offerings that I only am familiar with a couple. Then there's 2 steaks I believe. One about $45 and the other a whopping $65. This would be moderately expensive in San Francisco but here, it's absolutely insane. I have a background in culinary arts and kitchen business mgt and I give this place until about Jan 25th 2025. However, if the owners dramatically expand the menu and lower prices, it may work out. Being a new business, I know it's tough and I really want to support them with my business. Even with my big paychecks, it's not worth the main meal pricing. Appetizers have lower prices so maybe there's hope for them! 1 . Prices on the entrees are beyond ridiculous and I was going to rate zero stars, but since appetizers are expensive but reasonable, I'm ok with 1 star ****The service is good, food is ok, ambiance is fine**** It's like hard coded above the food and service to be improved but I can't remove these! Some of the best food we have ever eaten, especially locally! Servings were huge and the quality was impeccable. The service was friendly and the chef came out and made sure that everyone was being taken care of, even offering off menu items. The ambiance is slightly less fine dining than the food, but still very nice. The only reason to withhold the fifth star is the timing- they seemed a bit short staffed and we were there for two hours all together. Still, an amazing experience! read more
