I had Dr. Lebowitz as a doctor for a couple of years and then I had finally had it. Expect to wait…read morein the office for him for no less than 30 minutes, but usually closer to a full hour if not more. The staff won't tell you he is running behind. It got to the point where I would buy snacks and watch a movie on my iphone while waiting. He doesn't give any difinitive answers and seems to just want to write a prescription to get you on your way. He was switching me to a new medication and didn't ween me off of the old one but rather just had me stop it. I had horrible side effects from this and everywhere I read, that medicine is supposed to be slowly decreased. I believe he has far too many patients to be efficient or effective.

My problem with them-is the receptionist. She is rude and short with people- she acts like she is doing you a favor. I go to the Dr. maybe twice a year and only if I know there is something wrong-I also pay cash up front for my visit so there are NEVER billing/payment issues. Would it hurt the damn receptionist to just be nice? Currently searching for a new GP because of this...'
