The appointment was set for a month away since I'm a new patient. This is just a routine check up , I didn't have a problem waiting so long. My husband is a regular and he called for his annual check up and he was booked within 2 weeks! He is always pleased to see the nurse practitioner, she is very efficient and capable to do what a doctor would do. My experience once I walked in...was pleasant and very friendly staff. They used iPad to fill out the "new patient " forms!! Neat technology now a days! Clean lobby and chairs are spaced very well practicing social distancing! Everyone is wearing face mask - that is very much appreciated!

I was taken back for my procedure only 10 minutes after my appointment time, which I consider excellent. Additionally the doctor successfully removed the entire cancer on the first procedure. Since this skin lesion wasn't as deep as the last, I didn't even need stitches, so I was leaving in less than two hours after arriving. The entire staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The provider was very professional, skilled, and did an excellent job managing my care. That said, whatever process is used for scheduling is terrible. I arrived 15 minutes before my appt. And was not seen until 70 minutes after my scheduled time. The reason is not the staff or the provider. It's the scheduler trying to squeeze in too many into the day. Many of the other patients I saw were elderly. They need more time than 15 minutes. Bottom line is the schedule process does not provide the medical care experience that I think AiD leadership would expect. This needs to be fixed.

I've noticed a few new spots recently so I decided to get checked out. My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Wharton. He walked in the exam room and I knew right away I was going like him. He gave me a complete exam and told me what every spot was and thankfully everything was due to age and nothing serious. He reminded my how to be careful out in the sun since I spend so much time outside. I was not rushed and he spent a reasonable amount of time and answered all my questions. I scheduled a follow up appointment for next year and left with a very good feeling about my negative results. If you want to be proactive this is a very good place to schedule an appointment.

Two days prior they left message on my machine saying that a credit card would be required as of first of 2026. They called on the morning of Jan 27th, and again they insisted I give them credit card info., despite having two different federal govt insurances. I cancelled appointment disgusted. You also cannot call the local office, but they can call you. Very dissatisfied. This arrogant clinic takes advantage of the fact that this area is grossly underserved by Dermatologists. I wasn't even greeted when I walked in and when I asked for a mask, the two front office ladies were very rude and did not want to give me a mask. A woman in the waiting room offered to give me one. I let the ladies know that I was a new patient but based off this first impression, I would find another dermatologist to see. I understand it is my responsibility to have a mask but accidents happen. Although, I believe if an office is requiring you to wear masks they should have them available for patients, I would have had no issue going and buying one, if the ladies were nicer about it, as I made sure to arrive to my appt. early. Their behavior was completely unacceptable. I was hoping to find a good practice for my whole family. Obviously, this place is not it.
