What a great experience. Annie took the time to listen to my concerns about the bags under my eyes…read moreand then made recommendations on how to best approach treatment. We discussed other areas where I wanted to look more "well rested"and Annie came up with a treatment plan over several phases. I'm happy to report I just finished my second treatment and when I look in the mirror I see younger eyes and fuller lips and an overall more rested looking face. I wanted something that looked natural and Annie definitely delivered. Now, I can't wait to return for the next phase. As someone who's in their wiser years I appreciate the consultative approach that Annie took by not only addressing my aesthetic look but also the health and improvement of my skin texture and elasticity. I've already recommended Annie to several of my friends and family members. If you're looking for someone who offers a full range of services and where you can be confident in their expertise, then look no further, Annie is the person to see.

I reached out to Aesthetic Intelligence through their website because I had several questions about…read moretheir services and pricing before deciding whether I wanted to move forward. Instead of answering my questions, the conversation turned into trying to get me to pay $100 nonrefundable deposit to book a consultation for my questions. As a potential client, I don't think it's unreasonable to want basic information before committing money to a consultation. I repeatedly tried to get answers to my questions so I could determine whether their services were a good fit and within my budget. Unfortunately, I never received the information I was asking for. What made the experience even more frustrating was that once it became clear I wasn't ready to pay the deposit without additional information, communication essentially stopped. Rather than addressing my concerns or answering my questions, I was ghosted. The entire interaction felt more focused on securing a deposit than helping a potential customer make an informed decision. Maybe their services are great, but based on my experience, customer communication and transparency during the inquiry process were disappointing.

Amazing Amazing Amazing I love coming here, it feels like home…read more Farin was amazing , made the experience even better and did an absolutely fantastic job on my brows. Won't be going any where else. I'm hooked

When I first heard about "threading" a couple months ago (yep, I'm so with it), I had the mental image of someone taking a needle and thread to my eyebrow hairs to weave them together into some sort of nice shape. This is how clueless I am when it comes to eyebrows. Sooo...after reading rave reviews of this place and finally getting the nerve to experience this "threading" stuff, I called Jamila, who was able to book me an appointment two days later. An hour after speaking with her, she called back and said she'd had a cancellation, would I like it? Would I ever! How nice of her to call back. I dashed out to Carrollton to find Radiant. TIP: It's located at the southeast corner of Josey and Jackson, facing Jackson. Hard to find unless you know that. Look for the Blockbuster on the corner. ANOTHER TIP: Her name is pronounced "Jah-mee-lah." Poor woman probably gets called something different every day, but she was very polite in correcting me. As soon as I was settled in the procedure room, the first thing Jamila said to me was, "Your eyebrows are too light." She then horrified me by penciling in what they should look like. Granted, this is what every woman WITH A CLUE's eyebrows look like, but it's a big change for me. I compromised with her on doing a slightly lighter shade for the tint (which I hadn't even been planning on until she made me realize how bare and ugly my eyebrows au natural looked). The tint turned out to match my hair PERFECTLY, and I'm very happy with it. I'm going to invest in an eyebrow pencil now. What is this world coming to?! Anyway, she then proceeded to do the threading, which was painful, yes, but not as painful as I'd heard. I do have high pain tolerance, so that probably helped. She listened carefully to my request not to make my eyebrows too thin (I like the distinctiveness of my slightly Brooke-Shields-esque brows). They're not shockingly different from what they looked like before, just slightly more polished and darker (thanks to the tint). Next time, I might be more brave and go for a bit thinner and a bit darker. But I need to work up my courage for that. Best part of the whole thing? The tint ($10) and shaping ($10) were ridiculously affordable compared to pretty much anywhere else I looked. And it was super quick and relatively painless (once I got over the initial heart attack from seeing my eyebrows so dark). I may have just started a new beauty regimen. Who am I?! Next stop: find a shrink to help me deal with the changes in my life. Aaahh!!

However, the Korean lady the mother of the receptionist immediately started cutting my hair without much discussion or clear direction. At first, she mentioned it would stay around shoulder length and not too short, but she kept cutting until it became much shorter than I expected and it turned out very different than the picture that I showed her. What upset me even more was that after cutting my hair, she moved on to another customer and left me waiting while working on someone else. In the end, my hair turned out terrible. Honestly, it is the shortest and ugliest haircut I have ever had, and I deeply regret going to this place. My point is this: if you cannot give your customers your full attention or provide good service, then don't accept the appointment--especially when customers are paying full price + tip. I will never come back, and I will share this experience with friends to warn them. I AM VERY UPSET!!!!!!!! I regretted giving you tip!!!!

Grace is not just talented, but also caring, detailed, and consistent every single time. I have noticed with any type of spa experience the best time to go is during the week and in the morning. There was a ton of staff really taking care of the entire place and everything was being cleaned throughout the day. As stated, I really enjoyed going to a lot of the new rooms and to pool outside. I've rarely been compelled to write a negative review but I feel it's only right I inform others…read morewho are thinking of going. I've been to spa castle in NYC having grown up there. I remember it being a fine establishment for the price (10+ years ago). So seeing that they've recently renovated here I was curious and decided to go have a relaxing day. This place is not Korean and obviously not meant to be on par - it's a Chinese alternative and unfortunately cuts corners and costs wherever they can and it shows in how the reno was done. For 2 people it was close to $200 without any additional purchases. Issues 1) You put your shoes away in a small locker before proceeding to the main locker room. Typically in spas where you're forced to take off your shoes - the staff also do not where their personal outside shoes indoors. This was the first red flag. Everyone walks around in their normal shoes. You're basically walking behind them and stepping in all the filth from outside while being barefoot. I'm Asian, this is u acceptable. 2) A few pools indoors and out were inoperable because the caulk/sealant they used were coming off and floating around in abundance. I can't imagine what the pools with jets look like without the bubbles. You can see that the renovation was done hastily and someone even posted a picture of no permit work done. Concerning 3) In the men's area, the sauna was not hot. The steam room had a pungent paint/construction scent. Not something you'd want to breathe in for extended periods. 4) Saunas on the main floor had no identity to them. If you are used to going to other Korean spas, you will be familiar with each room actually having a unique healing property. How? You saw the bags of herb, you smelled it, the light sources were legit. Here each room is the same. The rooms with light therapy were cheap aliexpress strip led lights that didn't work in some cases. This place isn't worth the money. You can tell from an hour or two that no one really cares about the experience. It's a money grab.
