My technician, Taylor, openly admitted she had to practice on herself when she saw an eyelash lift on her schedule--something no paying customer should hear. She didn't provide any aftercare instructions, and when I asked how long the results would last, her vague response was "it just depends how much oil-based products you use," which offered no real guidance. I don't use any, so this answer was especially frustrating. When the appointment was over, I truly couldn't tell what she did to my eyelashes as there was no difference from when I walked in to the end of my appointment. Not to mention, I had glue left all over my eyelids and tint dye smeared around my lash line and face, pictures attached. My brows still had wax residue, and sugar was matted into my hair. When I sat up, my hair was literally stuck to the table. I regret paying for these services and would not recommend this location to anyone for the services I received. The lack of professionalism and basic technique was shocking.

My esthetician was so rough that she left me bruised (I've been sugared many times and never bruise), admitted the bikini area "makes her nervous," and even left used sugar stuck in my eyebrow, on my shirt, and all over my legs. I submitted feedback through their internal review system, and they told me the esthetician was fired because of my appointment. I was promised a partial refund (even though the service deserved a full one), and nearly a month later I'm still waiting--despite calling four times to follow up. Each time I've been met with excuses and zero urgency to make things right. To make matters worse, one staff member told me they had never received complaints about this esthetician, while another admitted there had been many. Looking at other reviews on Yelp, it's clear my experience wasn't an isolated incident. I literally never write reviews but this business has shown me the worst customer service I've ever encountered, and I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time or money here.

I don't know how the salon world really works, I suppose. What I DO KNOW is that Kim is amazing. She's the nicest lady, and remembered me even though I didn't come in for, like, three months. The front desk staff at Humphrey's had screwed up my scheduling initially - like, I was supposed to be on the books, but found out they cancelled my appointment without telling me - and that was in February...since then, I've missed an appointment (they didn't call to remind me of the appointment, either, which is weird) and had to reschedule. When I went yesterday, I found out that Humphrey's is under new management, which explained all the confusion. But my review is on Kim - she's amazing at what she does - and she does hair waxing and sugaring. You can't find sugaring ANYWHERE else...it's safer, cleaner, and just slightly less painful than waxing. Kim is very thorough and makes you feel SO COMFORTABLE, despite the fact that she is, in fact, ripping out your hair from its roots. The prices are slightly steep, but comparable to what other salons are charging for waxing. Apparently she does FULL BODY hair removal, too. Just in case you were wondering. She was about to get the thread I politely asked to sanitize her hand since she was just waxing her own armpits. Now I am already irritated. Instead of putting powder she puts aloe Vera and starts to thread my eyebrows. It's hurting so bad that I can feel my skin tear. I asked her to wipe off the gel and put powder. She's not happy that I told her to do that. Comes back again and starts to man handle my eyebrows. In all these years I have never had such a painful threading. So not a lot of traffic around the salon (just incase I made a soft squeel). Amanda was super professional, therefore it wasn't weird. The salon was clean/fresh, and she even decorated the ceiling BRILLIANT!! She was quick, it took maaaaybe 10 minutes. And my spicy place was beach ready and finally smooth HALLELUJAH!!!
