Tasty stop for something a little more healthy after several days in NOLA. Owner was delightful.

I would always much rather go to someone who has a passion for hair care versus someone who will lie and damage your hair further. Sitting in her chair is nothing less than a experience and you leave with confidence you didn't know you had hidden deep down in you. I would more than ever recommend trying her out. I was very satisfied.

I should have taken her at her word and listened when she said she hadn't done one in years, but I had paid a nonrefundable $150 deposit. I could tell by the braid down that it was going poorly, but still trusted that someone charging almost twice the going rate for sew-ins knew what they were doing. I left the shop with a very lumpy hairdo with nonsensical layering (a block to my shoulders in the front but to my butt in the back), a tangle in the middle (a technique she said would make tracks invisible, but still installed a track above it that IS visible, a technique a second stylist I had look at it cannot understand), and visible tracks that have gotten worse over a two-week span. The only thing that saved it is the quality of the hair I brought with me. I normally would not have left a review if I didn't love the service, but I do not want somebody else to make the same $300 mistake.

I had completely lost my sideburns which limited my hair styles and had heard that Dr. Rogers was the doctor to see. She is an expert about hair, in general, knowing a lot about alopecia and other hair losses. I had seen her a couple of years ago to learn more about my FFA. I felt like I was in good hands with her hair specialty, and then in very good hands with the transplant. Dr. Rogers was so kind, so attentive, and so precise in placing the 500-750 hair grafts. She walked me through the specifics about the medication that would calm me and explained what she was doing through the procedure. Of particular note was how she touched my shoulders after the surgery portion. I felt cared for in the midst of a rather strange experience of having hair moved from one part of my head to another. The transplant was not painful, maybe uncomfortable now and then - but the local anesthesia was very effective. I would not hesitate to have another procedure or recommend HRS to anyone wanting to have hair restoration!

The experience was first class all the way--from planning to follow-up. The surgery itself was painless, and if there was any pain while healing, I've forgotten it. My hair was thinning on top and she suggested 1500 follicles which not only thickened up that area but also lowered my hairline about 1/2 inch. So not only did she correct the thinning but also made my forehead less high. I couldn't be happier with the results.
