The first appointment I did not see the vision at first, I wanted her to clean up more but she advised me not to and let the hair grow back in those areas. It is the first time in my life that I have to warn others about beauty salon: READ THE FINE PRINT. Apparently, the cancellation policy for this place is that if you cancel your appointment within 24 hours before your appointment, you will pay 20% of the service you should've received. And you know how they charge it?? They will use credit card details that you paid with on the last visit and will charge this card without your permission! When you book an appointment, they don't tell you about it. They don't send you a request to accept Terms&Conditions that you agree with that policy. When I addressed this issue to the salon, they simply said no matter what happens in your life, their wasted time is too valuable. And they are happy to lose me as a customer, because I think this policy is outrageous. Don't get me wrong, I show up on my appointments on time, I respect other people time and didn't have any intention to cancel until I saw this policy. Life happens, and I don't feel respected to be charged for something that is out of my control. I think it is not the way to provide the best customer service, it is not a "Industry Standard" as they call it, it is just them trying to save a penny on 15 min procedure. Not even a single beauty salon I have been into in my life, had such a customer unfriendly cancellation policy. Looks more like medical office to me. If you do like the place and use it anyways, I would not recommend to pay with your credit card, only cash. read more

Have to update my review because I had Mariline today and she was AMAZING. I saw a picture of brows she did on Instagram and made my appointment with her because Shari is always very booked. Shari is of course amazing too but I can't always find an appointment that works with her. I booked brows and a Brazilian with Mariline and she did such a great job. She is very detailed and personable. I felt super comfortable with her! My brows look on point with the right tint color and the shape is exactly what I wanted. Really bad customer service! I just called to let see any luck for an appointment but the girl who picked up da phone, she put me on hold and then hung up. I called again and they put me on hold again for another 5 min and then telling me they don't have available spot until 4pm. To be honest, I don't mind they are telling me they are full schedule or I'm coming back in the next day. It's just an easy "Yes" or "No" answer. I think they can reply me just in a minute after they check their schedule. P.S: First, I'm not the one hung up the phone, it's "Bare Fruit Sugaring staff" hung up my phone once I was keep waiting on. Second, your staff put me on hold again and again. Third, I never tell your staff I must come in today at 2pm, what I want to know is u guys have available spot around 2 pm today or not? If your staff telling me you guys don't have a spot, i'm totally fine. But it's not the way to hung me up and put me on hold and on hold again (without apologize for the hung up and just keep asking me we have 4pm spot only, you wanna come? You wanna take that? Keep asking the same thing and still didn't give me an apologize for the hung up) To be honest, I was been there before because of the good eyebrows(I have to say they really have the good skills) shaping skills so I'm gonna go again but unfortunately I don't think the owner knows the whole story of today (I don't know your staff is telling you what kinds of story, whatever) I'm just talking about the bad customer service, not your sugaring and eyebrows skills. I'm just talking about the truth, not talking something fake to hurt you business. Remember, hurting your business is your staff, not me and not your shaping skills. Daniela is amazing! This was my first time ever getting sugaring and she made the process very comfortable . She was constantly asking me if I was ok and reassuring me that the results were going look amazing!! 3 days later and I'm loving the results I can't wait for my next appointment! Hi just wanted to write my experience with bare fruit waxing studio I had today OK so ... I decided to go here because I got tired of going to nail salons and walking out with lines for eyebrows And I honestly can't do treading, I don't care how many people tell me it gets more easier with time, I come out in tears each and every time. My friend had told me about this place where she does most of her body wax. I decided why not give it a try. Shari was very sweet, very perky, great music taste and the studio was in a great location and nicely set up. I asked her for a wax and it was quick and painless not only that it had an amazing arch and shape I was shocked for someone who has to always put makeup on my eyebrows in order to get that shape. When I was done she asked if I would like to get them tinted as well, I don't think she wanted to tell me because my brows were balding (thanks a lot anastasia brow wiz pencil ) very nice of her. And I thought what the hell I always gotta darken em in anyway. And oh my God. What a life changer. They are amazing I can't stop looking at myself. She did such a good job. I am updating my review because I have come here every 4 weeks since March of 2016! Now nearly a year and a half later I can say without a doubt that this is the best salon I have ever been to and the only one I will ever go to. I have the monthly Brazilian package which saves a ton of money and Shari does my brows every 4 weeks. I absolutely love the Brazilian sugaring. My hair grows in so much slower and finer now and with bikini season here, I have nothing to worry about. Shari does the best brows and I always receive compliments on them. I love it here so much that I recommend them to everyone and so far several friends and family members have come and gotten hooked as well! The Westbury location is beautiful and the new Farmingdale location is amazing as well. Everyone who works here from the receptionists to the sugaristas to the owner Shari is absolutely amazing, bubbly and so welcoming. She pushed my appointment to a later time to save me the aggravation of waiting in traffic, being rerouted, and (in my case) getting lost. When I arrived there, the staff was very accommodating. Bare Fruit Has been my go to for all my waxing needs for over a year now. The studio is always clean and smells amazing! Since my first appointment, my eyebrows have never looked better!
