I asked for a recommendation based on it being a high traffic area and was told it wouldn't make a difference since my selection was the best in stain resistant carpeting. Well they were wrong. I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Extremely disappointed with him and his lack of response.

I went to his store and he showed me what he thought I would want, again based on just our phone call and he was on point. He then came to schedule a home visit to measure it and then it was installed. The installers were professional, on time and did a fantastic job. The best part is that it was completely affordable. I'm so glad we picked Allex to do our floors. They showed up on time, as promised, and finished quickly in 2 days. This was a daunting task.
