This review is for the Davis Love III course. I've played the Noman and the Fazio before but not the Love or Dye courses. The Dye course is was being aerated so by default, I played the Love course today on a Monday with an 8am tee time. I was solo so I got paired with a father and son, John and Mike from Massachusetts. They had never played that course before so we all figured it out as we went along. The difficulty level is high. Many strategically placed bunkers. Many in the fairway, along the the sides of the fairway and many are green side bunkers. These impacted your play on most every hole. There is a fair amount of water that comes into play as well. There are ponds, creeks and marsh areas throughout. The tee boxes were all in excellent condition as were the greens. Most all of the fairways were green and well maintained. Like all the other Barefoot Resort courses, you get the GPS enabeled golf carts. There were two bathrooms on each of the nine holes. Pace of play was excellent and it didn't feel like it was crowded or rushed. We played 18 holes in about 4 hours and 15 minutes. There are several Par 3's that are very reachable. Like the other courses, you do not come back to the clubhouse on the turn. They did have a cart making regular rounds and were stocked with sandwiches as well as the beers, spirits and non-alcohol beverage choices. I got a great rate of $125.00 which is reduced from the Spring rate. I'll be looking forward to playing the Dye course my first opportunity. read more

We were delayed by paying $20 for our pic and told off the 3rd tee we were 3 min behind now. Only saw bev cart once until we found her at 130pm back at the clubhouse. Conditions were ok, but never knew if it was a bunker or just sand. Not worth cost read more

Staff was rude at times not focused on the customers. Course steward was spending more time looking for balls in the woods that taken care of players. GPS on carts was nothing but ads. Trying to study the hole and ads keep popping up. Need to adjust price down. read more

This course was designed by Greg Norman, it's a difficult course but more user friendly than the Dye. It's a similar course to the Dye, just down the street. My FIL, FIL's cousin and my hubby played the course at a 10:15am tee off. It's day 2 of the golfing trip so far. Another nice course played her in North Myrtle Beach. Good game today. Greens were clean, well kept and manageable for a good game. Great day for another day of golf. read more

We played the Fazio course which was decent, nothing special but not bad. The shuttle to the overcrowded driving range was a pain in the ass. You can tell they just churn out tee times, staff was rude at almost all points. Felt like we weren't allowed to go anywhere without permission. We had back to back tee times for two groups and they gave us a hard time for wanting to stand on the first tee together. They try to charge you $50 for a group picture after you just paid $208 for the round. read more

Played the Greg Norman course this past weekend. Pay'd the out-of-towner rate of $230 per person. You would think for that price the cart would be loaded with golf tees and maybe even a sleave of balls. The course is in terrible shape, and I wouldn't pay more than $50 back home. No tees, no sleave of balls. The course was empty, probably because others already knew. Now you do too. read more

Played a 5 hour round as a 2 some on Fabio course. Told the Marshall about the slow pace, she said it's was fine, but gps was telling us we were 50 min behind pace. There were 4 groups on one hole at some point. Terrible management. The resort is old and feel cheap. Would never come back here again . read more

Disappointed... Overpriced, overbooked, My group QUIT after 14 holes and 5 hours into play because overbooked and SLOW. SLOW and EXPENSIVE. Save your money and have a much better experience at another course. HARD PASS. read more

I am not a golfer so I can't speak to that portion of this resort. My best friend and I rented a 2 bedroom villa for our vacation which spanned over the course of 7 days. We found fhe location on Expedia. Let me start by saying... for the price per night that we paid, this place was by far superior to our expectations. It is actually about the same size as our 2 bed 1 bath apartment back home in Ann Arbor. There is a bathroom per bedroom, the 'master' has an attached bathroom. It was labeled as a kitchenette on the site, but this place has a full kitchen. Stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc,. Furthermore, it was stocked WITH pots, pans, and silverware. The common area or living room was furnished with a 40 or so inch flatscreen, coffee table, chair and couch. Nearby was also an in unit washer and dryer. We had a walk out balcony with patio furniture. We were very pleased with our accommodations. Check in and check out took more than 3 minutes on either end and the receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming. The cons about our stay... After an 11 hour drive all we wanted to do was crank the air conditioning up, grab an adult beverage, and chill out. When we woke up in the morning, we discovered that our a/c was malfunctioning. Our first night and day in the room it was nearly 90 degrees. After making a work order, we left for a few hours to explore and came back to a still broken a/c although the front desk told us it was already fixed. This time we opted to wait for the maintenance man to show up, he took about 2 hours to make it to us and had our issue resolved in 20 minutes. Second, i was double charged initially for my deposit. Once through expedia and again through the actual resort. Once, i pointed that out to a different front desk lady on our second day it was amended immediately. Also, our check out time was supposed to be 10am per the resort, but expedia guaranteed an 11 am checkout which again was amended after pointing it out. Third, it was not denoted (or at least I did not see it on Expedia) that the pools in our resort were not open yet or that pets were not allowed without being fined or charged extra. Lastly, I would highly recommend showering one person at a time or waiting between showers. We had both showers running at once, and max we had about 4 mins of solid hot water per shower. I would highly recommend this place to future spring breakers or vacationers whom are on a budget. The price is extremely low for what you are getting, but beware because there may be some kinks which need to be addressed. Also! If you registered your vacation reservation with a 3rd party website, make sure to go over all the details of your reservation and costs with the people at the front prior to your stay, it might save you a trip or two. read more

I would like to recommend course, but can't. So much sand...so few rakes. Good enough tee boxes & greens...everything in between, bah. Cart girl twice, nice enough and apologetic about lack of supplies & timing. For the price paid...could have been so much better. Golf drop only help to wipe down clubs...no load up help, just talking to ranch other. Course ranger seen once...eating a sandwich and not doing crap to move the mob ahead of us. 4 groups on long par 5's with no effort to get groups moving! For the price...not worth it. read more

Barefoot Resort and Golf is a destination trying to be a resort course with an infrastructure more like a public high end course like Tory Pines. My 3 star rating is in comparison to resort courses such as TPC Sawgrass, Harbor Town, Pinehurst, etc. I played the Fazio course. In my opinion the Fazio course is brilliantly designed to show the scratch golfer they do not need 7000+ yards for a challenging game of golf. Well placed bunkers with holes designed around natural penalty areas such as water and wet lands at strategic distances shows that 6800 yards can be equally challenging. The Fazio course forces the big hitters from the back tees to shape shots or play a shorter game. I am a 23 hcp that played the white tees and 5700 yards (5678) a big challenge. The staff is friendly and the check in pleasant. The driving range requires a bus ride, so I suggest picking out 5 or 6 clubs max rather than bringing the whole bag. There was heavy congestion around the bag drop area but course assistants worked hard to unload bags and get golfers moving. There is a post COVID employment problem in that one cart was servicing multiple courses. The cart person came once and basically let us know she would not be back. So I stocked up on the sports drinks and a cup of ice. One ugly thing that was disappointing-- the course was just "punched" and the greens punched and sanded. I made the reservations 3 months in advance and this was not expected. The course was still full price at $120. Now the check in process did let me know that I could get a full refund after playing a few holes, but I had already traveled 1800 miles and reserving a different course for the day was not going to happen. If I was going to play it was on punched greens. I think I should have been contacted and other arrangements made such as one of the other courses. Overall the Fazio is worth playing if you are staying in Myrtle Beach, but I would not make a special trip. I would recommend just staying at Pinehurst or TPC whatever if you are looking for a complete golf resort experience. read more

Awful place rooms are not what they seem! Had mold growing out of the ceiling vents and on shower curtains. When asked for extra pillows i was laughed at. Nothing was done to make the situation better other than having us move to a different unit that still had a moldy shower curtain! The balconies were not clean!! The sliding glass doors were broken. My husband said darn i left my grease gun at home we arrived to no sheets and only four pillows for my family of seven. The worst experience i have ever had with a company as the front desk clerks laughed when i asked for more the next day! read more

The courses and complex are very nice, but the staff running the Love, Norman and Fazio courses were rude and ruined the experience. From the moment you arrive you get the sense that they simply want to push as many people through the courses as they can, with no regard for customer service. This includes over booking the course, and sending rangers to speed you along despite waiting on every shot. To make matters worse, there is a starter stopping you from grabbing a sandwich at the turn, despite the back up. The staff at the Dye course were fantastic and made the experience great despite the conditions of the course being rough due to recent weather. This could be a great place to host a golf group if there was a bit more interest in the customer experience rather than maximizing the amount of players pushed through. read more

Barefoot resort and golf is amazing. Its one of the best places around here to play in my opinion. The 3 championship courses all produce unique challenges and play tough in my opinion. There are some great opportunities to make things happen but also a good chance to bring a double bogey into play. Lots of wind, water, and sand to contend with. DO NOT PLAY THESE COURSES AT ANY PRICE! Courses were absolute piece of crap. Greens keeper should be absolutely embarrassed by the condition of these golf courses. We golfed the Love course one day and Fazio course two days later. There is no grass in the rough or on hills around the trees or water. Areas that should prevent your ball from going into hazards are so void of grass the ball just rolls into these areas. There is bare, loose dirt where there should be grass. The fairways have some grass but many bare and thin grass areas. We had to constantly move our ball to find good grass to hit our golf ball off of. The greens are the only spot where there is good thick grass growing. I would avoid playing any course at the Barefoot Resort and Golf at Myrtle Beach. It's not spring conditions as we played a course 10 minutes away and it was in excellent condition. Talked to the Player Assistant and he tried to claim it was the first time he has heard that feedback. I wished I would have taken pictures to post in this review. read more

Cons: this Resort caters to the $. Loads of open T Times with no real specials. They seem to just want your $. You pay 9 holes in afternoon in fall. They will not let you continue like many many many golf courses do in area! 75$ for 9 holes with nobody on course for the most part!over $125 (18 holes) to play deep into fall is steep. You pay for demand here 365 days a year! Wake up management and bring in some business! Run some SPECIALS Pros: nice courses to play. For most part in good shape! Not $ wise but great to choose from 4 courses to play. Good bar and good over-all service! Barefoot is a very nice & quiet area too. I had the opportunity to play this golf course on Wednesday, April 21. In spite of the fact that Spirit Airlines failed to load my checked bag (golf clubs and clothes), this course made my date. The price at $136 was high, but worth every penny as this tract is well maintained. This course is challenging, but not overwhelmingly. The winds did make play tougher but the exquisite layout makes this tract probably the best of all the barefoot courses. read more

I stayed and played here at the Barefoot Golf Resort three years ago and feel it deserves every bit of the 5 star rating. I played the Dye and Love courses and if memory serves they each were about $90.00 which is more than i care to pay in Myrtle Beach or anywhere for that matte, unless it is a tour stop. Both courses were in great playing shape, the greens were a bit tricked out. I had been hitting the ball well, but just struggled on the greens on both courses, even after changing putters, same result. As I mentioned, the price may be a little bit more than the ocean side condos but more than worth the extra few dollars, in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, staff and obviously the golfing. Inside the villa, the rooms are immaculate, with calming blue beachy themed decor. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, plates, glasses, as well as a washer and dryer. A group of 9 people. 5 days and 4 nights. Free wifi (but depends on unit). Super dependable and strong-even with 9 people sharing it in the same rental unit! No maid service (additional fee) but they did drop off a fresh bag of towels after our 3rd night. Pool closed from 10p-9am. You can bring drinks and food to pool area but no glass containers. We were able to venture out on a couple of 4 mile runs around the resort on the easy paved sidewalks surrounding the high rise resort. The resort also has an onsite gym and salon/massage spa just outside of the parking lot. read more

Played the Fazio Course today at Barefoot Golf Resort. Overall experience was one of the worst I've encountered in all of my golfing travels. It started in the Pro Shop - I paid for my grandfather and I to play, asked for a receipt from the young assistant behind the counter and was given attitude as if I was asking for something difficult. Pretty common procedure to give a receipt. The weather was hot and humid for mid October - we were told there were 2 beverage cart girls covering the 3 courses, which should not be a problem - pretty standard protocol on weekdays at places with multiple courses. Well, 10 holes into our round we finally encountered the beverage cart girl. There were no stations on the course with water bottles, there is a shed behind hole 9 with a vending machine where we tried purchasing water but it was all sold out. Our encounter with the beverage cart girl was lackluster - granted my grandfather was pissed off because he's been thirsty for 5 holes now, but she did not have any Michelob Ultra, Bud light, or Budweiser on the cart. There were a few comments directed at her about her whereabouts and she responded with some words of frustration that probably were not warranted at guests. Our buddies teed off 2 hours before us, they had a similar encounter where they ran into her on the 3rd hole and she was out of Michelob Ultra - she told them she would drive in and be right back to sell them a bunch of beers, but they didn't see her until they teed off the 14th hole. I mean, driving a beverage cart is a pretty good gig if you're into making money -- maybe she's not? Course conditions did not meet expectations for the resort and the rates. We had a few inches of rain 2 days ago, so I expect some low lying areas to be soggy and the bunkers to have some water, BUT I don't know what happened to the greens. I'm posting a few pictures below. EVERY green looked like this. I belong to a country club up north, and I play my fair share of public courses, but I've seen municipal courses with better greens than these. Overall experience was lackluster at best. The clubhouse is the only place worth visiting here - enjoyed a beer on it after the round. The waitress we had serving us was fabulous, but the golf staff we experienced need to take a course in customer service. I'd recommend fellow golfers take their talents and money elsewhere. Plenty of golf courses down in Myrtle beach. This one is NOT worth the price tag. read more

The golf courses are all great - some of the best in Myrtle, but this place has gotten a little greedy. The fact that the courses are so great is a cover for all the things that are lacking and because the course are so popular, they have no motivation to fix them. 1. No water on the course because they are worried someone will poison it? Seriously, this is what the proshop told me. So you are forced to pay for water from the drink cart. There is free water on the starter cart, but you only see them once a round. 2. They pack people in. Double teeing is the norm, resulting in 5-6 hour rounds. If your tee time is after 11am, expect there to be a 30min+ delay. 3. Halfway houses on the Norman and Fazio courses are never staffed. So you are left with a coke machine if you want a snack midround. 4. No halfway house on the Love course, nor are you taken back to the clubhouse. So again, left with nothing. 5. Drink cart never comes around - once a round, maybe twice if its not crowded. They should have one per course, but thats never the case. Worth a play, these are great courses, but since the public pays $175 high season, youd think they could give you some water and get their scheduling together. Play Grande Dunes, much better. read more

This was the worst resort that I have ever visited. We paid over $1700 dollars for a 4 night stay and was treated horrible and the resort was a mess. First of all, we was unable to park our motorcycle and trailers at the resort, which we were not notified about this when making our reservation. So, this was highly inconvenient. Second of all the unit that was rented to us was filthy and disgusting!!!! Please stay away from the resort. On top of that, the resort staff is unpleasant, unfriendly and rude. They will take your money, then you will get the worst customer service ever upon your arrival. The minute we arrived we was greeted by a resort staff member telling us to remove our motorcycle and trailer from the property. We hadn't even got out vehicles to unload our items yet, but was greeted with this nonsense. The resort staff didn't provide us with a pool key as well and the office is not open on weekends and holidays. So, the staff member, working at the pool denied us entry to the pool because we didn't have a pool key due to the resort staff not giving us one when we checked in. We even showed us our reservation and he still denied us entry. A resort owner happened to hear us complaining about it and we was walking away and she signed us in as guests!!! Don't come to this place ever, they treat their guests horrible. By the way, there is no resort staff that come to your unit neither to ever see if you need anything. We didn't even have pans in our unit to cook anything. We only had two small pots. So we had to go buy pans. Good luck with this place if you ever stay there because you will need it!!!!!! read more

My family was given the crappy end of this deal! After 6 hour drive and checked into our 3 bedroom villa The Havens Unit 435. We were greeted with a dingy stale smell and the carpet with disgusting stains. Walking through out the unit, all the rooms were this way. The walls in each room were smeared with dark stains. While doing a walk through of the kitchen, I noticed silverware placed back in the drawer that had dried milk and smeared stains as if they were wiped with a damp rag. I noticed plates that were placed back up that had dried eggs on them. The smell from the glasses were that of eggs. The patio only had one small chair and a plastic stand for a party of one when I called the office, the young lady put me on hold and then hung up. When I called back, she said they can only send someone to come clean the carpet. What An inconvenience this was for our stay. I decided to go to the office and the manager I believe her name was Robin W. was no help and even In front of her staff, she disregarded anything I had to say. She wouldn't listen to me, rolled her eyes and wouldn't even look at the pics I took of the unit. She kept over talking me. When I told her the placed looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, she rolled her eyes, smirked and shrugged her shoulders and said " Yes, it has but, ok". Her attitude showed me she could care less. She had attitude and smirked the entire time saying the villa had been cleaned and I can take my option and have it cleaned or not. While there the young lady at the front desk saw a housekeeper walk in and made faces with her, the housekeeper asked her " what?" And the young lady smirked and said " I will tell you in a minute" Who does this in front of the customers? What establishment makes a customer feel like they are not priority? There is one young lady that called me the next day to take care of the carpet matter and she was EXCEPTIONAL to everything great customer should stand for!!! ELLEN thank you for giving me a piece of what I should have experienced from the time I walked in the door. She was very polite, low toned and apologized and tried to make things right! That's what great customer service is all about! She really has what it takes to manage a property Note to property: Never make a customer feel that their needs don't matter especially when they are paying a lot of money!!!! P. S. On my 2 day, I stopped by the office and spoke with Ellen, while there I could hear someone speaking loudly and rudely to someone on the phone. She kept telling the person on the other end to " Listen to me, you're NOT listening to me. Do it like I said, you know what just bring your clipboard and come to the office now!!!" That call ended. I wasn't surprised that it was the property manager and even told Ellen that is how she spoke to me. That is a AWFUL person that was chosen to manage a property and if how i was treated is how she deals with issues BIG PROBLEM FOR THE PROPERTIES!!!! Treat customers like they matter. Played the Fazio course. Nice layout. Lots of bunkers. Very fair. Greens were OK but a little slow and grainy. They advise you take water on the course and the starter come by twice with water for refills and the beverage cart come by twice. Course was crowded but moved well. Took a little over 4 hours to play, which is about right. Course does not return to the clubhouse at nine but there are soda machines at a shelter after the 9th hole. Had a summer 24 hour special so the price was low for this course. Have not played in the past due to the pricing. GPS on the golf carts are very helpful and let U know if you are on schedule, behind schedule or ahead of schedule. Seems to help keep the course moving because it was crowded. read more

Accommodations at Wyndham Pete Dye Villa's and Barefoot Resort Golf Courses are first class; however, WYNDHAM MEMBERS BE WARNED, this is a Golf Membership Property. Our foursome played a round of golf in 4 hours and 16 minutes including five unexpected interruptions. The clubhouse let no less than 5 twosomes of golf club members tee off behind us. Needless to say they all expected to play through. When I called the Proshop on the third hole and asked why the twosomes weren't paired as foursomes, I was told they were golf club members and didn't have to be paired as a foursome. We were rushed the whole time. Clearly it appears Wyndham Members can never be expected to be treated the same as golf course members. The Accommodations and Golf Are five (5) stars, but the course management for what Wyndham Members pay is below par. read more

Ordered this through Travelocity. We arrived on a Sunday. The resort itself is really nice looking. The neighborhoods look great and well maintained. A lot of the area seems like permanent housing. The villa we rented was really nice for what it was. With all that, there were too many issues to like our stay. We arrived at 4:30, thirty minutes after checking and our villa still wasn't done. We go in around 5:30 and it wasn't clean. There was still stuff left from the previous vacationers just laying around. Floors were crumby and carpets had stains on them. The bed configurations were not what were ordered. The router was broken so there was no internet. There is no house keeping or anything during the stay per the documentation so forget clean anything. You replace your own toiletries. There was 2 towels for seven people. There is a washer but you supply soap. We called the main number 5 times and kept getting forced to leave a message with emergency maintenance but they never called back. We went to the front office, was told the manager would call, they never did. No hangers in the closets meant you were driving to the store to buy some. Lastly, the pool was closed down permanently yet it was advertised in the listing. Guess you can sit outside the fence and stare at it. If I had an option to stay again, I may if it was the right price but there's so much they could do for very little to show they even remotely care about their customers. read more

2nd day into our week long vacation here. We are staying at the havens in the 1500s and let me just say this is the worst vacation experience I've ever had in my entire life. First day we get here, there is trash outside the door so there are tons of ants crawling around the door area. Walk in, the dishwasher is running as if someone just left (so mind you now we have dishes in the dishwasher that we NEVER used and now have to put away ourselves). The linens on all 4 beds were filthy, stains, old and torn. Some red substance on the wall in the kitchen. Stains on the carpet. The patio had carpet on it that was all torn up and has blue stains on it. The screen door was laying on the floor. There was a wasps nest right outside on the patio as soon as you walk out with at least 20 wasps at it. Let me tell you about this couch in the living room. The most filthy couch EVER. Looks like it is at LEAST 20 years old. The cushions are all flat. It was so nasty my family and I didn't even want to sit on it because who knows what was on it. So we drive 5-10 mins back to the main office (yes it's that far) to tell them about our issues so that hopefully we can be switched or something can be done. So long story a little shorter, they are fully booked and we cant be switched. They tell us they are going to send maintenance and house keeping over to fix our issues. Okay that's fine. And in addition to all of that we didn't have any pool passes so we have to wait for the manager to come into work the next day to unlock the door to get the passes. But make sure your property owners have provided the barefoot landing resort with passes for the pool because if they haven't then you're not gonna be able to get in the pool. So housekeeping came and changed the linens which made us feel somewhat better. Gave us extra sheets to cover the couch. Maintenance came while we were gone and just sprayed the wasps nest. So they left the nest up and now the time of dead wasps are on the patio floor. So are we suppose to clean that? 2nd night ... roaches now..now I'm really disgusted. They were in the trash by the main door and then in the room right next to the main door. But what is the main office doing about it? Just sending maintenance, the same people who sprayed the wasps nest and left the nest up and the dead wasps on the patio. Customer service is horrible they don't care that we have all these issues and aren't doing much to better my experience. Oh we also had to go to Wal-Mart to buy sheets and blankets to sleep on. More unnecessary money spent. I do not and will never recommend staying here read more

Played all four courses (Love, Dye, Fazio, Norman) over a 3 day period with a group of 6 guys from 3/12 - 3/15. The courses were still in winter condition but in overall good shape. The kicker was the pace of play. Tee times are 8 minutes apart and they tee off on both 1 and 10 resulting in 5-6 hour rounds. We had 2 8AM tee times (Norman, Love) and neither finished before 1:00. In the afternoon we had 1:48 tee times at the other courses and at Fazio they were running 25 minutes late. We played the final 12 holes as a 6 some, and still waited on every tee box, finishing just before dark at 7:30. The Dye Course had slightly better pace of play, but still took 4:45. The accommodations were average at best. The condo they gave us had 3 bedrooms with 6 single beds (yes, I said single). For 6 guys (3 of which were over 6-2) this just didn't work very well. The kitchen and living rooms were nice and the location was great, just off the 9th fairway on the Norman course. Overall, the courses were ok, the Love & Dye courses were the only courses with truly memorable holes. The on-course service was good but not great. The breakfast is a great value and I would recommend to anybody. As far as other food, the Dye clubhouse was far superior to the main clubhouse and I would definitely recommend the French Dip soup. The driving range was disappointing. If you want to hit the range, make sure you get there at least 45 mins early as it's not onsite and you get shuttled about a 1/2 mile away making it impossible to hit a "quick bucket" before your round. Due to the pace of play, I seriously doubt I can convince my group to come back, we just can't justify travelling 6 hours away to deal with slow golf and average accommodations. read more

My family and I are in the middle of our vacation at Barefoot in 604. Let's start with the cleanliness of the room that we pay a crazy amount of money for a night. Poop in 2 out of 3 toilets, smoke smell in all bathrooms, dirty bedding, a couch with a body odor smell, THROW UP on the shower curtain, dirty dishes and utensils with jelly still on them. Pizza sauce and Qtips on the balcony, pizza sauce on the wall and handles to doors. These are just SOME of the gross things we found. Also, the place has probably never been vacuumed, ever. This is disgusting and highway robbery to charge a $150 cleaning fee and not have a staff capable of the job. In addition to all of this, we didn't have ANY linens in our room until the second day. The room looks beautiful when you first walk in, but I would rather have a clean, less appealing looking room than this. You should probably hire better cleaning people and care when people have a problem getting linens or even the carpet vacuumed. read more

It was the Norman course. I had friends tell me that all the courses at Barefoot were great. But didn't see it that day. Greens were not in great shape, burnt in a lot of spots. And some tire marks on some of the tee boxes also. Sorry for the review but I'll try it again the next time I'm there in the fall. read more

POOR mismanaged property!! Very difficult to locate rental unit, key location site is listed incorrectly on website, staff "forgot" to give us passcode to get in!... Supposed to have 4 beds as the reservation stated, only 3 here...at over 90 degrees, air conditioning unit not working, no one responded to my work order and unlike what their brochure says, there is NOT a live operator available 24 hours a day!! Shower leaks, floor soaking wet!! Screen door doesn't shut completely...pool is dirty and warmer than the air, balcony view is of trees and dirt...this is not worth the $1400 I paid!!! read more

We had a group of four on the Norman course with a Saturday morning 10:45am tee time on an exceptionally hot day. The clubhouse and restaurant are upscale and well-attended and the cart attendants were especially friendly and helpful. Our carts were equipped with built-in coolers and a touch-screen with general course information with notifications for nearby restrooms and warnings when we drove further off-course than management would like (in fact, if you don't immediately heed that warning, they remotely put a 1mph governor on your engine). The beverage cart and separate water cart came by frequently enough for our needs. The course was heavy on sand - both groomed traps as well as more natural basins. Slow play in frigid conditions makes for an unhappy round. A "take-charge" ranger would have been nice on the Love course (2/28-morning). Overall good course conditions for this time of year (cold golf days), great service and average accommodations all led to a pleasurable experience. We will return to play when it warms up! read more
