This course was designed by Greg Norman, it's a difficult course but more user friendly than the Dye. It's a similar course to the Dye, just down the street. My FIL, FIL's cousin and my hubby played the course at a 10:15am tee off. It's day 2 of the golfing trip so far. Another nice course played her in North Myrtle Beach. Good game today. Greens were clean, well kept and manageable for a good game. Great day for another day of golf.

We played the Fazio course which was decent, nothing special but not bad. The shuttle to the overcrowded driving range was a pain in the ass. You can tell they just churn out tee times, staff was rude at almost all points. Felt like we weren't allowed to go anywhere without permission. We had back to back tee times for two groups and they gave us a hard time for wanting to stand on the first tee together. They try to charge you $50 for a group picture after you just paid $208 for the round.

I am not a golfer so I can't speak to that portion of this resort. My best friend and I rented a 2 bedroom villa for our vacation which spanned over the course of 7 days. We found fhe location on Expedia. Let me start by saying... for the price per night that we paid, this place was by far superior to our expectations. It is actually about the same size as our 2 bed 1 bath apartment back home in Ann Arbor. There is a bathroom per bedroom, the 'master' has an attached bathroom. It was labeled as a kitchenette on the site, but this place has a full kitchen. Stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc,. Furthermore, it was stocked WITH pots, pans, and silverware. The common area or living room was furnished with a 40 or so inch flatscreen, coffee table, chair and couch. Nearby was also an in unit washer and dryer. We had a walk out balcony with patio furniture. We were very pleased with our accommodations. Check in and check out took more than 3 minutes on either end and the receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming. The cons about our stay... After an 11 hour drive all we wanted to do was crank the air conditioning up, grab an adult beverage, and chill out. When we woke up in the morning, we discovered that our a/c was malfunctioning. Our first night and day in the room it was nearly 90 degrees. After making a work order, we left for a few hours to explore and came back to a still broken a/c although the front desk told us it was already fixed. This time we opted to wait for the maintenance man to show up, he took about 2 hours to make it to us and had our issue resolved in 20 minutes. Second, i was double charged initially for my deposit. Once through expedia and again through the actual resort. Once, i pointed that out to a different front desk lady on our second day it was amended immediately. Also, our check out time was supposed to be 10am per the resort, but expedia guaranteed an 11 am checkout which again was amended after pointing it out. Third, it was not denoted (or at least I did not see it on Expedia) that the pools in our resort were not open yet or that pets were not allowed without being fined or charged extra. Lastly, I would highly recommend showering one person at a time or waiting between showers. We had both showers running at once, and max we had about 4 mins of solid hot water per shower. I would highly recommend this place to future spring breakers or vacationers whom are on a budget. The price is extremely low for what you are getting, but beware because there may be some kinks which need to be addressed. Also! If you registered your vacation reservation with a 3rd party website, make sure to go over all the details of your reservation and costs with the people at the front prior to your stay, it might save you a trip or two.

Sheets were dirty! Couch with pull out bed smelled awful. Sheets in closets were dirty. The dishwasher was broken. Bed falling apart!

Awful stay!! Dirty condo! No hospitality! Bed galling apart. Broken dishwasher, DIRTY!!!!!!!!!

    Moldy vents in every room
    Heather W.

Awful place rooms are not what they seem! Had mold growing out of the ceiling vents and on shower curtains. When asked for extra pillows i was laughed at. Nothing was done to make the situation better other than having us move to a different unit that still had a moldy shower curtain! The balconies were not clean!! The sliding glass doors were broken. My husband said darn i left my grease gun at home we arrived to no sheets and only four pillows for my family of seven. The worst experience i have ever had with a company as the front desk clerks laughed when i asked for more the next day!

Will take your entire day. Sure it's most likely beautiful and sunny out but it's a game and it shouldn't take 5 hours. Zero fun.

Sent the resort a note, but the course was in terrible shape and should have adjusted the price accordingly.

This resort is described as a…read morepremier (3-star) oceanfront timeshare resort featuring 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom suites in four towers with full kitchens, lots of pantry space, balconies, and within-unit washers and dryers. Resort amenities are abundant and include direct beach access, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, (small) lazy rivers, a fitness center, an arcade, and a fire pit. We made a relatively late reservation here for five nights when we learned that international guests would be visiting. There would be seven guests (all adults) for two nights, and only four of us for the other three nights. We used extra timeshare points (making it more expensive) in order to get a unit on an upper floor, hoping that the upper floor would give us the best ocean view. Unit. (3/5). Our unit in Tower 2 was spacious (especially when there were only 4 of us), and had everything that we needed and was clean. We especially appreciated the fully-stocked full kitchen with generous pantry space, having a washer and dryer in the unit, and the jacuzzi in the main bedroom (which we under-utilized!). The beds were comfortable, and had high quality linens. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the unit as our ocean view was limited (although you could see the ocean, beach, and one of the pools from our balcony). And, as the resort was built in 2002, and last renovated in 2011, it's now beginning to show its age -- with sofas and chairs that were no longer firm, some chips on furniture, and the musty smell that comes with high humidity. Amenities and Activities. (3.5/4). Tower 2 was convenient, and had many amenities that we utilized. It was home to the Lobby and Registration, had direct beach access, a lazy river, access to indoor and outdoor pools, game room/arcade, activities center, gift shop, and fire pit. As with our room, some of the amenities need upgrades. For instance, the hot tub was lukewarm at best, and the markings on the shuffleboard had eroded off. The resort also had a full calendar of "Resort Experiences", which included arts and crafts, shows, fitness classes, and more. HOWEVER, we were three days in before we even learned that there were resort activities, as we weren't given a schedule at check-in. For instance, we would've gone to the Sunday evening "Karaoke Welcome Party" at the fire pit, but we weren't aware. We DID enjoy the "Hula Fire Show" a few nights later. A few other random points. (1) Parking could be challenging if it's important to you to have parking close to your unit. If not, there's plentiful parking (and a free shuttle, which we didn't utilize) behind Tower 4. We were able to get parking in Tower 2 most evenings, except one evening when we got back late. (2) we were surprised that the concierge did have discount tickets to the shows in Myrtle Beach that we wanted to attend. (3) we would stay here again, but probably wouldn't pay extra again for a higher floor.

Even though I completed all of the online pre-registration beforehand, I had to repeat the entire process at the front desk because they couldn't find any record of it. The line was long, instructions were minimal, and parking was confusing. Both towers park in the Indigo garage, and you have to use the third-floor walkway to get to the other tower--information that wasn't clearly explained. The room itself was the biggest disappointment. The layout is incredibly long and narrow and honestly just... odd. The master bedroom shares a wall with the public hallway, and because we were close to the elevator, we heard people talking at all hours. It felt more like sleeping in a hallway than a bedroom. The furnishings are badly overdue for an update. The furniture feels worn out, the closet door came off its track when opened, the master sink barely drained, the safe battery was dead (maintenance had to replace it), and the sheets felt like sandpaper. There were no USB charging ports or convenient outlets like you find in just about every hotel these days. The "kitchen" is really just a mini fridge (without a freezer), microwave, sink, toaster, coffee maker, and blender. Then the layout gets even stranger. The living room has a sofa bed, but there were no pillows and only one set of sheets stored in the master closet. Meanwhile, the second bathroom connected to the living room is enormous--with dual vanities, a huge shower, and a Jacuzzi tub--while the master bathroom is the size of a basic Holiday Inn bathroom. The whole setup feels backwards. The ocean and pool view was beautiful, but the room itself felt like a design that never figured out what it wanted to be. One of my biggest frustrations was the housekeeping policy. We were charged a daily housekeeping fee (nearly $30 per day), yet the paperwork says they don't actually provide housekeeping. The first two days no one even came until I called. When they finally did, they simply emptied the trash and left a couple of clean towels on the counter. Charging a daily housekeeping fee without providing daily housekeeping feels misleading. To top it off, the only proactive phone call we received during our stay wasn't to see if everything was okay--it was someone trying to sell us a "timeshare". There are also no ice machines in the tower and no front desk staff nearby if you need assistance, so every issue requires contacting the separate check-in building. For the price we paid (roughly $500+ per night after resort fees, housekeeping fees, marketing fees, and taxes), I expected a much more polished experience. Instead, it felt dated, confusing, and overpriced. The ocean view was lovely, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make up for everything else. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.
