I had tried several quotes on Yelp and none seemed to be worth the price. When I stumbled upon her webpage / portfolio, the decision was pretty quick. She responded super fast and although it was last minute, she was able to fit me in on a Saturday. I prefer studio shots and her studio is HOOKED UP. She has all the cute props, baby outfits, headbands, pillows, backdrops and wraps in 100 color schemes- literally hundreds! I was also able to bring some of my own baby outfits. My baby did get fussy very soon after starting the session and she was so sweet with her to calm her down. Her turn around time with the final photos was good too. She is very communicative also. Meeting Becky was like meeting an old friend and she made us feel so at ease. For the newborn session, our little guy came three weeks early and Becky was easily able to accommodate the change in schedule. I am so glad I was able to find her as her photos are beyond amazing and she's such a nice person to communicate with, even though it was just a mini session. I can only imagine the extra details and coordination she does for a full session. This year's session was $375 for 3 digital photos. Adding more digital were at an additional charge [of course]. Love that Santa was included! This year's holiday photo session took place outdoors in a Katy, wooded area. We were able to do a family session, kids session, and sessions with Santa. Santa was perfect! He was dressed in his finest red suit and had the perfect fluffy white beard. He intereacted with my boys as well, allowing them to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Everyone was very patient with my boys and was able to get amazing photos. Though it was a "mini" session, I loved the multiple options she gave for us to do within that 20 min time frame. My sister had also booked a mini holiday session right after us and she was so reluctant to take photos of all of our 5 boys together ! [ I have 2 and my sister has 3]. Her communication throughout the whole thing was great! So responsive and had a quick and reasonable turn around time. She even asked for an special request of edits which she beautifully granted. I had a high slit dress that was a bit revealing and she was able to make it more modest. The photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend MJ for your photography needs.
