I thought it was a very neat store but the reason for the three stars is because after i made it around the store, i was at the make up table, and in the baskets that were holding the make up palettes, i spot a HUGE dead cockaroach. Volunteers run this thrift shop and they carry all sorts of things like antiques, clothing, shoes, jewelry, books, houseware, and children's toys. I did find a couple of cool items- a vintage doctor scale for $85, and a radio, tape, CD and record player for $55. I just didn't find anything that appealed to me but I would definitely donate here rather than Goodwill as they help the community with the proceeds.

Since I come here basically once every week, there are weeks where they aren't many new items I find, but then there are also weeks where I feel like I've hit the jackpot. I've gotten good quality protein bars for cheap, expensive greek yogurt for cheap, and amazing novelty things you'd only find at sprouts or Whole Foods (for half the price). Also, soda galore. Over the past year, they've had every soda you can think of for super cheap. This store is the only way I've been able to try certain energy drinks I've been eyeing in the regular stores. Every employee is friendly and they're always willing to help. Also super clean in there. All the products are nearly placed on shelves and it's always a treat to see. Well as it turns out they only have a single operational bathroom even though there are no signs pointing to the second one being out of order. The only available one is occupied by an EMPLOYEE I am told. So I wait and wait and wait for over 15 minutes and mind you the entire time I can hear this employee chatting and laughing at jokes on the phone(call was on speaker I could tell you the details they were talking about from how loud it was). I keep waiting until I am uncomfortable and I knock on the door to see if they are almost done and they just continue to chat on the phone for another 5-10 minutes but here comes Angela from the front desk to reprimand me and tells me I can go somewhere else. I'm just glad I didn't spend a cent before that happened. I certainly won't be coming back knowing how this store cares about its customers. Disgruntled minimum wage employees will do that to your business. I highly recommend going a few extra miles to the next Dollar store further down. Negative stars if possible.

After checking several times with Management and staff at that store location and waiting two weeks, after receiving from Family Dollar corporate that the order was in. The managers and the staff were unable to verify the order, I then called Family Dollar customer service 1-800 line and spoke to a customer service rep that stated they were unable to track my order due to their inability to know where the product may have ended up at, and what truck or store location it may have been sent to. So I waited all this time after and never received my products. It is now been a month and I have not received my refund. Beware of ordering from family Dollar corporate online and website !!! Especially due to what is a logistical nightmare when you can't track a customers order, nor refund their money in a quick manner for your in ability or lack there of to give the consumer what they purchased on your website. With all the negative reviews that family dollar store has received it is quite evident and sad that corporate management or its CEO or owner refuse to run this corporation in the manner that it should be ran. No wonder why you have so many shoplifters that simply go in to these stores and take what they want when you have corporate management basically doing the same to their legitimate consumers.
