Clothing you can't try on. How useless. They had some things i may have purchased if i knew they fit. Busy store! Bought nothing

Items are well displayed, shop is sunny and clean and the music is nice but inexplicably they have closed their fitting rooms permanently so you have to buy blind. And no bathrooms so don't plan on a long shop. Just doesn't make sense to me. read more

The Bargain Box is the best thrift shop around! It's clean and bright. Well organized. NO dingy smell like some other thrift. Go upstairs first you can't bring downstairs items upstairs. Upstairs is the last chance discounted, housewares, men's and kids. Make sure to look all around. Things are above and below. Special times for special items ie furs and some highend designers. The dressing rooms are closed. And there is no public bathroom. The volunteers are ALWAYS FRIENDLY! read more

I stopped in because my mother is currently in Morristown Memorial Hospital (which is the hospital this thrift shop is affiliated with and supports) and I felt it was a good thing to do. I was SO GLAD I did!!!!!! The quality of the items was amazing, with all different designers from low end to high end, and just about an equal mix of both. The store looks great, is very clean and everything is well and beautifully displayed. It looks like a cute little boutique not a thrift shop! Kudos to the volunteers. They were very polite and friendly. Their current situation is no fitting room so be prepared for that. There are suggestions online as to how to tell if clothes fit if you can't try them on--Google it. They have worked for me!! I found a lot to supplement my wardrobe today. If I wore a size 38 shoe the Manolo's in excellent condition would have come home with me for sure!!! I got 11 or 12 items today, from silk scarves to blanket scarves to jackets to jeans to shirts to sweatpants for $78. I'm very happy. Do you know the piéce de rèsistance for me? The lady who worked at the cash wrap folded everything so nicely for me it was like shopping at a high-end boutique. I love opening up my shopping back at home and looking at everything folded so nicely. It's a great touch! I'll be back for sure! read more

Cutest little place! Two levels with a nice variety of men, women's and children's clothing, household items and jewelry. Prices were fair and the inside was very clean and well spread out- definitely worth the stop to see if you can find a hidden gem. read more

NO BATHROOM!!!!! This Place is so rude. There's 6 women working here, so you know there must be a bathroom here but no..... They tell you sorry- There is no bathroom here! All with a straight face. I felt like going on the floor. What a bunch of crap! Thanks for all your donations and for shopping here but you cannot use our PRIVATE BATHROOM! This has to be illegal!! Until these ladies wake up and allow you to use the restroom, we will no longer donate or shop here! read more

Stopped here quickly coming from Rhode island. Very accessible coming off Highway 287. Quality items. The store was very clean, and not dusty like many thrift stores. Items priced fairly. Employees were friendly. Will definitely return When In the area. read more

This is a really great shop! They have a great selection of items from high end to basic for really good prices. Lenox dishes are almost always on the rack for $3 to $5. There is a large selection of clothes, home goods, puzzles and shoes. read more

The Bargain Box has moved since my first review. Still on 202. Now right next door to Wightnan's Farm. Parking can be an issue. But this place is beautiful! Well organized. Clean. All volunteer Staff is friendly and helpful. Large selection of womenswear. Housewares, men's, kids and clear UPDATE/ Still love shopping Bargain Box! Always fun! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Got nearly new Uggs for $10! Everything from Jewelry, linens, children's clothes, men's, shoes (oh the shoes!), hats, handbags! And all the women's clothes! Good condition, quality clothes! Recently moved to a larger location just down the road from the original location. The new space is so large, and includes two floors of goodies! Right when you walk in there's the designer rack, which carries Chanel, St.John, Dolce & Gabanna, among others. There's different racks around the store with different categories such as workout wear, sleepwear/lingerie, sweaters, dresses, tops, jeans etc. There is a designated men's section upstairs, and a small selection of CD's/DVD's, and there's my favorite part of the store the clearance room! Prices are rock bottom ranging from .50 cents to $6. I've found incredible pieces here and love stopping in whenever I can! read more

Twice I've been there and needed to leave because I needed to pee and the women stand there with a straight face and say "we don't have a restroom". That's just mean. I thought it was a fluke the first time because I know they have a restroom if they have six elderly women working there but I didn't want to make a fuss. Today was more embarrassing because I brought a friend who loves to thrift shop and I had to rush her. What type of charity is that?! There are no other facilities in the area. You can't try on clothes if you need to use the facilities. So don't have your morning coffee if you'll be shopping there until they put a port-A-john in the nice parking lot next to their newly renovated space. We went to Taylor's Consignment in Morris Plains next and found 6 great items. Much bigger selection and common courtesy. read more

We arrived about 10 to 15 minutes before closing. There were lots of customers shopping at the time, but they wouldn't let us in. She claimed that they were closed despite still serving customers. The more appropriate thing to do would have been to let us know if they were closing in 10-15 minutes and allow us to look around. Bad customer service. read more

Hit or miss as with any thrift store but this one is kind of on the small side, it's clean and pretty organized. They close early as another reviewer said, and as the lady yelled at me as I was walking in, "make it fast we are closing!" Even though I was walking in 15 minutes before their posted closing time. They turned the lights out on me and reminded me again verbally, I understand wanting to leave work but I still walked out at 5 minutes before their posted closing time. read more

You should change your name to boutique because it is NOT a thrift shop! Very expensive and over priced! I am NOT cheap and will pay big $$$$ for quality but you don't have quality. It's like putting lip stick on a pig! read more

This place was really cute, and for a great cause. It's a small place with a lot of clothing. Their dresses were a great selection if you are under a size 16. Same went for the clothing in general. The quality was really good, plus they had a half off a color tag sale the day I went. So the circa 1980s dress I was buying turned out to only be 9 bucks and I had no idea until it was time to pay. The people who worked there - I wouldn't give them 4 stars. Maybe 2 at best, I wouldn't say they were rude but I felt like I was shopping at an upscale boutique and not a thrift store. I almost felt as if I was bothering them by making a purchase. Which surprised me since this goes for a woman's cause at the local hospital, you would think they would be extremely friendly. Unfortunately the few I ran into were nothing close to friendly. That wouldn't stop me from going back though, the cause they are doing this for is a great one and they have great stuff. LOTS OF CLOTHES, and lots of good name brand clothes. read more
