One of my favorite coffee spots in Tracy, I've been going here for a few years now. Recently heard they are undergoing new management but there are no noticeable changes, which is good. The shop can get really busy and loud since the place is pretty small. They have a good almount of drink selections and the service is very fast. The price is fair compare to something like starbucks b/c the quality is much better imo. My go to drink is the blended coffee toffee crunch, always soo good with the right balance of coffee and sweet. However be careful with your drink selection, some drinks can be TOO sweet/syrupy (like the blended roasted almond.) Recent just tried an iced vanilla white mocha w/ mint and it's a pretty solid drink. Only thing is that it was still a little warm so I would add extra ice next time. read more

Decided to check out the local coffee joint on Friday and my initial thoughts were- does anyone around here work on Friday's? Then I realized that everyone is probably like me; just working from home to avoid the long commute. This place was packed! Lines were long and out the door. All of the tables were occupied. I ordered the chai tea latte and it was rich. The place is dog friendly so ill definitely be bringing my dog in so we can people watch. They had delicious goodies, but I didn't order any. Saw many posts on social media about this cafe...and the hype is true! I got the Cafe Barista (iced). I don't remember what my husband got. We really enjoyed both of our drinks. Loved that it didn't taste synthetic or overly artificially flavored (anyone else feel like many Starbucks drinks taste artificial?) They put the perfect amount of ice in my drink (so you actually get a drink for your money not just ice lol) Staff was sweet. The place was super busy when we went but it was a nice vibe. Lots of conversations going on and with the decor, I felt quite comfortable despite the place being so filled up with customers. So first drink i got at this place was a hot chai with a shot of espresso. Second time i came i got a cold brewed coffee. Third drink was a hot toasted almond with almond milk. Pros: -Free wifi -Their chai was good -Service is super fast. A huge line gets cut down in minutes Cons: -impossibly loud. Maybe cuz its a small place, but you could hear everyones conversation over the baristas working. -their cold brew was just so disappointing. It tasted like watered down regular iced coffee. After finding out that I was diabetic, I was crushed I would not be able to enjoy any sweet concoctions from this location, however Barista's has overly met my expectations with what is available for me to consume. I came in over the weekend to see what kind of white mocha concoction I could get, and they had quite a few options that I could choose from, way better than the skinny lattes that Starbucks has to offer. I can now testify that their skinny white blended mocha is the bomb diggity and is my new favorite sugar free drink! During Covid: Came to barista's for the first time. The cashier was so kind esp. when I came when it was busy. Tried the holiday menu. Got a Maple Spice Latte and Merry Mint-Mocha (something with mint in the name) HOT drinks. Also got two paninis Maple Spice Latte was disappointing, kinda just tasted very bland and bitter latte. So I was über excited to try this place as I am always hearing great things about it. My husband and I decided to visit on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty crowded when we went, I guess it was a minimum day for all the high schoolers... so we decided to take our drinks to go. The coffee shop was inviting but just far too crowded at the moment to stay. I got the iced Snickers Mocha and my husband got the blended Sticky Bun Latte. We also shared a granola pastry. I think I set my expectations too high cause I was a little sad that my mind wasn't blown. However, the drink was really tasty with a good price point. My husband also really enjoyed his drink and the pastry had good flavor & texture. My favorite thing about this place is that they have a nice variety of drinks. I've been to this place numerous times and it's definitely got a more homey feel to it than your average Starbucks or other such place. It's smack in the middle of downtown Tracy which, if you haven't been to that part of town, has a lot of older buildings and a more relaxed, nostalgic vibe compared to the more bustling suburban areas that have cropped up in Tracy in recent decades, and this only adds to the charm. Most importantly, their products seem fresher and higher quality than those usual coffee chains, and the prices are actually about the same if not a hair lower, so that's a win-win! My go-to items are the iced vanilla latte and a blueberry muffin (warmed up), and those always hit the spot! To be fair, there were a couple of times where I had to bug them about my order as it was taking way too long, but those times were pretty close together and I haven't had that problem since (nor did I experience it before those times), so it was probably just a couple of hectic days or something inevitable like that. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is their hours...I'm one of those weird people who likes to get decaf (or half-caffeinated) coffee in the mid to late afternoon, and they're often closed by that time. I just wish they would stay open until like 5 on a daily basis. If that happened, they'd definitely get a 5-star updated review here from me! read more

I started by calling the establishment to preorder (which truly did nothing because i still had to wait in a very long line) and i could not hear the employee on the phone it was like she was talking to me through a blender.
