I was just passing through this town on my way back down to LA when I came upon this appealing coffee shop. I loved that there were so many different types of lattes. I tried the Sicilian Latte and loved it! Unlike Starbucks, it was refreshing seeing more than two Baristas making drinks. Also, every Barista was extremely nice! Great service and great coffee! My friends and family have been visiting Barista's for years. I have always enjoyed their blended mochas. To make a long story short, I have become terminally ill, and not able to leave the house anymore. My sister was visiting Barista's two weeks ago, and it was brought up in conversation with the new owner,(Rocky), how sick I was. Best coffee in town! I love to come here at least once a week and meet my friends with our bully dogs. They are very dog friendly and even have special dog water for them! The dogs love the attention they get and everyone who works there is very nice and so are the rest of the customers . They also have a unique way of making ice coffee... Pretty smart actually.. They make coffee ice cubes put them in the size coffee cup you order then you can add any creamer, sugar or sweetener you want then pick one of the many hot coffee selections they have pour it over the coffee ice cubes and it stays cold ! How have I not made a review about Barista's yet?! It's so amazing! I literally come here almost every week! My go to is always either a dirty chai or a sicilian! sooo good. The baristas are super accommodating and always make sure your drink is right. (though i've never had a time where I didn't like my drink) Too bad I won't be around since i'll be moving, but if I ever pass by I'm definitely hitting Baristas up! They also serve ice coffee in frozen ice cubes so that you won't have watered down coffee-I never want to use generic ice again. Until recently, I'd happen upon this gem every time I would go with my sister to her hair appointment just down the road. Her excellent ability to not have coffee before going to the appointment would afford me to get some steps in to grab her one of their delicious coffees. They're very accommodating as my sister is Vegan and they will make your coffee however you want it. Add in a huge smile or great attitude and you have a winner every time. This is our go-to coffeehouse in Tracy. They have a huge selection of coffee choices from cold/hot/ and blended. The baristas behind the counter are always very friendly and happy. Coffee just taste better from smiling people. I usually order the Creme brûlée coffee with cranberry orange scone or some sort of bagel. If they are out, they will be happy to make you a fresh one. How I've never written a review for here is beyond me. You're going to get the long version: During my first and second years of teaching, students gave me a number of Baristas gift cards. I kept thinking, "I barely even like coffee as it is... I'm sticking to what I know with Starbucks!" Those gift cards sat in my purse through the end of almost my 3rd year teaching I think. I finally decided to start using them. Went in, was greeted very nicely, ordered one of their creative hot drinks, and headed to work. 3 weeks later I walk in for a second time... "Hi Stevi! How are you??" I looked around confused... I'd only been in once before... 3 weeks prior. That very experience is what has had me coming back to Baristas ever since. They truly put their customers first and it's evident day to day. My favorite drinks are the Aloha White Mocha, which has a great coconut flavor, and the Macadamia White Mocha. I also like getting their bagels with salami, cream cheese and peppercinis! (Breakfast of champs!) :-) I'd consider this place a staple in the downtown community, and many businesses could learn from this staff. read more

Been here twice after moving to Tracy. It's a local coffee shop which is better than Starbucks. They have the usual coffees iced drinks, lattes, and few bakery items. They have outlets for folks to do their homework or study. I would recommend it although parking is hard to find sometimes. read more

My daughter got an iced green tea latte. It was ok. Then I made the mistake of ordering a large frozen coffee drink with 2 add shots. I got 2 large cups full of blended coffee product because they used the shots hot out of the press and the same proportions as they do for a standard large in the blender. It expands. Lol it was not good and I ended up throwing it away. Since it's in downtown Tracy, the parking can be annoying especially for the farmers market times on Saturday. I wanted to like these guys, but they just screw up way too much. From making my drink incorrectly, to not making my pastry incorrectly, to almost acting as though it's some sort of joke when they screw up. Customer service is awesome, and the bagels are delicious, but the coffee is EXTREMELY sweet. Think Starbucks, but wayyyy sweeter. This is just my preference, of course, but just a warning out there for anyone else not down with sweet coffee. They also use syrups. read more
