At this point she was totally out of control, barking incessantly, extremely high strung, no socialization, afraid of everything, and relentlessly tormenting our other (much larger) dog. Then came Joe! He is head & shoulders above any trainer we have worked with. He is extremely knowledgeable, confident, easy going, flexible, patient and honest. He let us know she was going to require a LOT of training but if we were persistent it would pay off. After her 21 day (and then some) board & train we saw significant improvement. She started by asking a lot of questions to really understand all our issues and their magnitude. Then she took them one by one and offered suggestions for how to deal with each issue, also explaining relevant issues about a dog's innate (and learned) behavior. She also gave us a copy of a book she just published, her third. I had heard wonderful things about her, and now that I've met her, I can say there is probably no one in Tucson with more experience with dog training and animal behavior. She had a calm, low key presence and I am most anxious to start using her training techniques. One of the most reassuring things is that she was very clear that he is not a bad dog; he is just a dog. As the humans we have to take responsibility for letting him know what is acceptable and what isn't. And Karyn has given us the tools to know how to do that. She got the most amazing start to not only her physical health, but she is a gorgeous balanced pup for life thanks to Christine. The amount of time she (and her pack) worked with her including learning the structured walk (this is where the MAGIC happens) and put her on the perfect balanced diet to build her early immune system and learn her place in the family was evaluable. My son and I DID go once a week to work with her and LEARN what to do once she came home and that was so important as YOU have to follow through. My sweet girl is so wonderfully socialized, happy and healthy thanks to Christine. She also helped me with MY perfect little boy who had some leash resistance issues. That took ONE lesson and BAM. I have recommended her to friends in Phoenix who thought they had an agressive "red zone" dog. She traveled there and in 5 minutes zeroed in on the issue. She really IS a dog BEHAVIORIST and so much more then a "trainer". I honestly should have reviewed her sooner but today I HAD to!!! Her house was absolutely disgusting she had a bunch of dogs fenced up in the kitchen with my dog in the living room throwing treats on the floor and then her dogs were all barking and creating havoc for my dog. Now my dog is a pitbull however she was an amazing animal yes she recently passed . They are big rambunctious loving pups! Tamison spent several weeks getting basic commands down and a training program the my sons gf could continue at home and it has been terrific they are so much easier to handle and control and they are much happier pups know that they are busy learning every day!

Even after day one my dog is showing positive signs of starting to like other dogs and didn't bite or cause any issues. I highly suggest letting these ppl work with your dog and also to social with their worker dogs.
