Kodiak and Maya absolutely hate bath time, we typically only bring them to a groomer in the spring to speed up the grooming process and just bathe them at home the rest of the year when they're just dirty and need baths! So needless to say, they're a bit difficult to handle when it comes to grooming... BUT The Merrimack Doggie Spaw was amazing! My dogs literally look the best I've ever seen them after a grooming, theres virtually no shedding left to be done (which anyone that owns a husky knows how rare that is this time of year)! Dallys was awesome, there were some issues with my dogs acting up (Maya having a melt down in her play pen while Kodiak got a bath and Kodiak trying to escape the bath) and she handled it great! I loved that she didn't lecture me on their behavior like some people have, and recognized that it's due to stress, and came up with a plan on how we'll handle their grooming next time to save one of them from hurting themselves and to make her job easier! Well, Casey picked her up at our home and she and our pup seemed to bond immediately! Off they went for her first grooming with Casey; about 30 minutes later I get a text telling us that her bath went easily. We never expected that at all. An hour later we head to Casey's to pick her up and on arrival, we find our finicky pup fully at ease and right at home. Never expected that either. Along with everything else our pup looked great! Unfortunately I would never recommend a business that's owner has absolutely zero empathy for the…read moreworld around her. On our way to a family wedding my niece got into an accident and hit the car in front of her (also a family member). We were all ok, however, we were harassed by the owner of this business during the ordeal. We had to pull in front of her grooming salon (directed by police) while EMS, the police and a tow truck assisted us. We were not disruptive and were with police the entire time. She asked us to move our operable vehicle- which we did. She then continued to stand behind us and video record us with her phone, despite officers telling her our situation. We were unable to leave immediately due to the car being totaled and had to wait for a vehicle to pick us up. We moved off of her property because she was being aggressive and rude. Even then she continued to record us, yell at us (telling us to "go home- we don't belong on her street"). For nearly 40 min, while we waited (off her property) for a ride and spoke to the insurance, etc she recorded and harassed us. As our ride finally came she continued to record us- despite me telling her we do not consent to being recorded. Please keep in mind a 17 year old had just totaled her car by hitting her parents call on our way to a family wedding. What kind of person has no empathy for that situation? I'd never her trust her with my dog
