We stopped by and met the owners, Ali and her mom Colleen. Our two dogs immediately took a liking to them and seemed right at home in their facility. There are your usual gates that you will see at any doggy daycare so they can keep the dogs safe and separated if necessary but Ali and Colleen made the extra effort to make their place feel more like a home. It was clear that it helped make our dogs feel comfortable and I especially liked that it smelled nice and clean. The outdoor area is a combination of fake and real grass. It's nice to see a facility with real grass because our dogs really enjoy rolling around in it when they're outside. I appreciate that they try to keep the groups smaller and try to ensure that the dogs are familiar with one another. I think that's really beneficial to pups that suffer from some anxiety (like our female dog). Ali and Colleen were able to watch our two dogs for Labor Day weekend and from the pictures they posted on Facebook it was clear they were well looked after. Every picture showed them smiling and having fun. They don't have a webcam so you can watch your dog on camera but they do try to make sure they post several pics online so you can see what's going on. Or if you're like me you just miss their little faces so much when you're away from them that you need to get periodic fixes! You will pay a little more here than some of the other doggy daycares in the area but you are also getting a homier environment with more personalized care. Their pricing is easier to understand than a lot of other daycares too. We're so glad we found Zoomies and will definitely use them again to watch our beloved doggies!

It didn't matter who was on the schedule because it changed frequently, so I never knew who would be coming. At first this shocked me. Then I realized there's nothing I could do about it. Some were good but others weren't! The owner lives in Florida and is clueless. The people who came didn't read the notes I left even though I put them on top of the leash and wrote them in the portal . The dogs NEVER got fresh water and I caught some of them going through my things! 1 actually got loud with my dogs! My dogs got so stressed they now have behavioral issues. There's no one to complain to because the owner doesn't want to deal with it or worse, spins it! She doesn't respond to emails or text if she doesn't like what's in them. She ignores and won't make thinks right. Glad they're out of our life.

My experience with Chewies Playland was continuous for over 1 year until the winter of 2024. Where I was once happy because my dog was happy, about 9 months later, I started to question the inconsistencies in the services and billing practices for grooming. My dogs behavior after boarding. I stopped using the grooming service. My last boarding showed inconsistencies in the various boarding charges. As of February 2024 I stopped being a customer. Anytime I asked for a straight answer about pricing I would get, a different answer or they just want to take something off my bill. My last visit charges were incorrect. I thought I was going to have a conversation with the owner to acknowledge I was NOT charged enough $$$, but I wasn't allowed to speak a word. Later, I received multiple text messages after the call, including one threatening me if I put in a poor review of the business.

We had a beach getaway planned for early summer (booked a year in advance) and had no idea what to do with our (then 13 week old) kitten. I searched online and immediately found all of the glowing reviews for Cat's Pajamas - I'm so glad! I spoke with Patty on the phone and she eased all of my worries about leaving our baby Leo with her. We boarded Leo for the week we were away and he was the happiest boy when we picked him back up! He is a very needy kitten (needs lots of attention and cries if he doesn't get it), so I was worried about leaving him - but no need to worry with Patty! Patty made sure to have him out for playtime regularly and sent us lots of pictures to keep us updated. Leo absolutely loved her! Plus, Patty even allowed us to bring our non-clumping litter for her to use during the week, since Leo was still too young for regular clumping (if you've ever used it, you know non-clumping litter can be a pain, but Patty didn't even bat an eye at the inconvenience of it!). We left Leo with her again at the end of the summer for a last minute weekend trip and received the same 5-star treatment! We love Patty and can't recommend The Cat's Pajamas Inn highly enough!

Patty, the owner seemed lovely. I wasn't thrilled about the size of the crates 6x4, but figured we could do a trial run for 1 night before his actual stay. We agreed on a day and time for me to bring my cat and the day before she asked if I could come at 9:00am instead of 9:30am because she was heading out for 2 hours at 9:15!! WHAT?? She thought nothing of having me bring my cat who had never been there before, shove him in a crate and the leave right after he gets there for 2 hours? The whole point of me bringing him was for her to meet him, see how he does. When I asked if it might be better to bring him later that day when she would be around, she said no I'm having company!! Again WHAT?? How much attention and time was she planning on spending with my cat who would probably have been frightened as can be.
