One day at our vet he asked if they boarded cats, they gave us a pamphlet that was just dropped off and said The Whisker Haven had just opened up. We immediately called and asked to see the place. Trina was so great and understood why I would be nervous. Her place is strictly for cats so it is a nice and relaxing place for them. She showed us around and we even met her two cats that were there. Trina put so much thought and care into her place and it can be seen with all the little details I would never have thought of. I was so happy that we booked four days with her for the July 4th holiday. She asked if it was OK if she texted us updates, and of course, we were happy to get them! While we were away we received pictures and updates. Our Agnes was doing great and looked so happy and comfortable. When we showed up to pick her up, she didn't want to leave! She was walking around and enjoying the large cat tree that is near her large window in the back. She was so happy and enjoyed her time there. Trina also brushed her, which we were able to tell because she felt so nice and well taken care of. Surprisingly, we put her on the floor and she walked back into her "cat condo", ate, and went to sleep in the bed! This is truly the best place you could bring your cat. Trina cares for animals and is a true cat lover. She has thought of everything possible to make your cat's time there enjoyable. She even will give your cat their medication for a small fee, this was great because our cat needs a pill twice a day. We have already booked future dates because we feel she will be booked up once the word gets out! We highly recommended bringing your cat here. It is like an affordable spa vacation for your cat. We were fed up and canceled her. i can't comment on what anyone who works for her is like because we only dealt with Kim even though she wouldn't be doing the actual pet sitting. She's unreliable, rude and unprofessional and hides behind email replies even when you say please call me. INSTEAD, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING The ROVER app to find a local verified RELIABLE pet caregiver to come to your home or to take in your pet while you're at work or on vacation.. we're VERY happy with the pet professional we found on ROVER who is also local and are delighted to give them out repeat business. We searched the internet and found Top Dog Pet Sitting Service! This company were not only very responsive, including the owner, but they did an outstanding job in reassuring us that our puppy was in great hands! We started by making an account and profile on Chloe and it was so easy and user friendly! We then chose our time of day we wanted them to come and our preferences of how many times and how long we wanted the pet sitter to stay. When everything was booked, we met Cassandra and Alisha and Chloe loved them RIGHT away! That was something my husband and I really liked, is that the sitters who would be watching her, met her prior to us going away. All of this happened in a span of 2 weeks since our original plans of who would watch Chloe fell through. During the trip, Cassandra and Alisha were AMAZING! We received email updates with pictures after every bedtime visit (we chose 3 visits a day with just one update but you can customize to however you want!). Those pictures and updates are what got us through the week! It was great because the girls not only cleaned up fuzz and animal pieces from her toys, but also helped clean the containers that had her food in them. During that week, Chloe was on a special diet of chicken and rice as well as medicine and a powder probiotic. the girls did WONDERFUL with managing that entire situation. Jessica, the owner was also beyond amazing for getting back to us so quickly when it was the day before we left for our vacation and she had to be put on all of this medicine and special diet. This company was amazing and we will most definitely be using them again in the future and going to be requesting the same 2 girls since Chloe loved them so much! I cannot recommend this company enough for all of your dog sitting and pet needs!!! :)
