    Advising Groomer March 2023
    Rika B.

Hello, I went to this groomer 3 times. The last two times are when the problems began. (8/27/22 and 3/7/23). You have been warned, Fur Parents! Go to this groomer if you don't mind taking your fur baby to the ER with pooping blood and the groomer denying to pay for it. If my dog dies and/or if I'm paying anything, she's getting sued! Tammy, if I have to pay anything and/or my dog dies, I'll see you in court! August 27, 2022 My 14 year old yorkie-poo, Diamond received a full groom. Her hair was cut too short, but she was groomed and the owner apologized, but at least she was groomed. 8/28/22 Diamond had low energy, was shivering, extremely bloated, and no energy. I contacted the groomer, while at the Animal Hospital ER and sent this on 8/29/22 at 1:37a: (screenshot included) Hello, I apologize for the late message. Please respond at your earliest convenience. I've noticed that Diamond has been shaking all day Sunday to this moment. She has been sleeping all day and hasn't played at all. I'm very concerned because she wasn't shaking nor showing these other signs prior to her groomer appointment Saturday morning (8/27/22). Was there any sick or shaking dogs there? Has anyone reported these symptoms to you? If not, please keep me informed if someone does. I apologize again for the late 1:37a message, but Diamond's health has me concerned. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. Sheri Her response: Good morning Sheri. I'm sorry to hear that Diamond feels a bit off for some reason . We didn't have any pups showing any symptoms of colds on Saturday. Everything went smoothly. I'll let you know if I hear anything at all. Please keep me posted on if she feels better soon. I never experienced this before after countless times Diamond has been to the groomer nor the first time she went to this particular groomer. I took Diamond to the Animal Hospital and paid the vet bill. I thought maybe she was just sick. They gave medication for her bloat and pain. Diamond was completely fine again! I made it back to Omaha in January and decided to schedule Diamond a groomer appointment. She was groomed here on 3/9/23. Starting March 10, her health began declining again AFTER attending this groomer. Here is what happened: 3/9/23 - groomer appointment with this groomer establishment 3/10/23 - Diamond slept more 3/11/23 - Diamond slept even more 3/12/23 - Diamond threw up and ate less than a handful of food 3/13/23 - I woke up and Diamond was laying in front of the heater, didn't eat, dehydrated. I got her Calorie Boast Nutritional Gel (she licked), Pedialyte with a syringe, and per the groomer's suggestion: beef, rice, and eggs. 3/14/23 - at 2a went outside and had 2 regular poops then a watery one. I continued with Pedialyte and the Calorie Boast Nutritional Gel. 10a, she pooped a lot of blood and I contacted the groomer. 12p, Diamond pooped more blood and I took her to the Animal Hospital. 3/14/23 at 2:42p, She ended up pooping a lot more blood as I was sending the groomer the estimated bill. 3/14/23 at 2:53p, the Groomers response: I'm not paying that bill. I will speak to the vet. I sent her the estimate with the information to the vet on it. I will see her in court if I have to pay anything and/or if my dog dies. 3/14/23 at 3:03p, the groomer response: (screenshot included) You do what you need to do Sheri. I will speak to the vet and would like the shot records Instead of offering to see what should could do about the entire situation, after all my dog was groomed there and did leave with the SAME symptoms TWICE! She declined to help and after I sent her an email requesting for payment with proof of everything, she instead is stating retaliation. Please see (dark) screenshots. If she felt this way and it was true she would have sent the report but she's saying this because my dog is sick and I want a refund and reimbursement! She NEVER asked for shot records prior to this and Diamond's 3 full groom visit. Be careful of WHO you let groom your pet! I'm staying CLEAR away from home groomers. Can anyone recommend a groomer in Omaha? I'm not from here.

    Terrible grooming job.

A friend of mine put this review on Google. It should also be on Yelp as a Warning not to use this business. I saw many pictures - horrible. Photos added. We won a free grooming service from a raffle. We decided to take our dog there as a trial and to see if we should switch groomers. The dog is a husky\German shepherd mix. I have never seen such a horrible cut/ chop job in my entire life. It is embarrassing. Not to mention, the people who handed the dog back didn't bother to mention that there were a few accidents that occurred while grooming (bald spots where they trimmed far too close) There is no excuse for this kind of poor workmsnship and they should be embarrassed to have a dog leaving their facility that looks so bad. I know we certainly are!

He was mellow and didn't seem upset at all when I went to pick him up. It was easy and quick to get an appointment set up and they have nice extended hours for those with a busy work schedule.

Since shedding season has just begun, we decided to take him in for a shed treatment and bath. We heard about this place from my sister-in-law who has taken her dogs there for nail trims. You have to call to make an appointment, but they're really flexible and I didn't have to wait more than a few days to get in. They also asked what my vet was so they could verify the rabies vaccination, which was nice that I didn't have to chase down his records myself. When we took him in, the front desk person was welcoming and help us get all checked in. They asked a few questions about his demeanor, and we assured them that he is mostly a chicken and the most difficult he'll be is he'll freeze up when he gets anxious. They called me about two hours later and he was ready to go. I had to get him within an hour of him finishing. When I got there, I paid first and then they brought him out. He had a super sweet bandanna on, and I could tell that they really worked hard on getting his undercoat out. We haven't had the best experience with de- shed treatments around town as he always comes to us just as hairy. I think some places think that they can get a few minutes of brushing and then call it good but this dude has like three layers of undercoat. You can tell the staff here really spent time on getting that out. Not to mention he smelled SO good. No wet dog smell here. We didn't use any other of their services or do any shopping, but it looks like they had a good selection of products. This isn't our closest local dog store so we probably wouldn't come to just shop but I would return for the grooming services.
