Pulling up to park, I was hesitant to go in as this is not the prettiest place, but glad we went in! They have a pretty decent sized bar, and it was full for happy hour (4-7pm). The service was attentive and friendly. They had a few pool tables and several tables and booths to eat at. It's pretty dark inside, but lively atmosphere! Food: I ordered the oysters Rockefeller, it is a half dozen fresh baked bills secret recipe oysters. Only took 10 minutes from order to being served. The speed and quality was perfection. Drinks: very properly measured, Rick is a true mixologist. They have a great selection, only thing I could suggest would be a drink menu. Head Chef- chase, politely came to visit us to ensure we were satisfied with our meal. Owner- gage, He has a open door type of mentality that is so attractive for a business owner. He visited with a few people kept up great conversations while keeping his business running in the smoothest way possible. We, for one will make it a tradition to visit whenever we are in town. We went here on a Tuesday night with 2 other couples. It was not busy, just a few at the bar. We ordered our food and waited and waited and waited. No refills on our drinks. When I asked politely why it was taking so long the waitress snipped at me about being a large party. When our food arrived it came out 2 at a time. My tacos were given to someone had just came in 10 min ago. The worst part was one of the men in our party never got his food because she forgot his order! The poor guy had to eat alone. I think Barnacle Bills is a great place. They had aml you can eat steamed or chargrilled oysters for only $25.00. I close the dozen raw for $14.00 and a delicious salad with grilled shrimp and lump crab meat. My server/bartender was great! The place is a cool bar with plenty of high top tables, a big bar to sit at, and they have 2 pool tables. The bathrooms were very clean and the food was great! read more

Do not come here. I have a reasonable standard for bar food and drinks. This place did not even sniff the low end of the spectrum; they took 2.5 hours to produce our food. We ordered tacos and wings, the simplest of food to make. The tacos had raw shrimp (pictured below) tossed into a tortilla straight from a freezer bag. The wings were also terrible, and incubated in the fryer for the least amount of time possible, which contradicts the insanely long wait time for fried chicken. The chef at this establishment should be put in a maximum security prison. The experience was beyond terrible, as it ruined the dinner and quite possibly the entire evening. Wanted to order the 1/2 pound peel and eat shrimp, but the waitress advised that they are served with the heads on. That's a big "Nope" for me. Moving on, tried to order a frozen drink. Waitress advised that none of the servers have been taught how to use the commercial blender yet. So no frozen drinks available. Okkkkk then.... We then proceeded to order the 1) crab balls. Decent enough, but just 6 balls for $14 !!! 2) Spicy fried shrimp, but they weren't spicy, just the dollops of dipping sauce was $14 again. 3) Fried corn - 2 for $4.00, but was just a tough, tasteless frozen Cobette of corn with a weird caramel? Butter type of coating. Very tough and just odd. 4) The Tuesday Lunch Special - "Cajun Meatloaf with fries", fries were ok, but the meatloaf was a thin, dry slice of meatloaf, stress on the thin and very dry, with no gravy, just a shake of sone type of Cajun seasoning orange powder on top of the sad meatloaf. Finally, #5) The Caribbean quesadilla- just a flavor lacking lumpy, barely grilled chicken quesadilla, which needed more cheese to go with the bland, nursing home tasting chicken. This place was located near off of US 17 Kings Hwy found them on yelp they had good reviews. When we arrived the place around 1:30 pm the whole bar smelled just like cigarette and cigar smoke. We were so hungry so we looked pass that and decided to give this restaurant a try because of the good reviews. Waitress was nice and seated us quickly. She gave us 3 menus for the 6 of us and advised that the bottom 4 signature plates was not available. Needless to say we left for another restaurant.
